Magic Alchemy Shop

The following days would be quite busy for Nova Initia. Not only is there a new shop erected today, but Brian was also busy making their house beautiful for tomorrow.

Compared to when they first woke up in this unfamiliar place, the house Asti has provided them greatly improved. Brian was not shy when using his gold to renovate all things that needed to be renovated.

Their living space is now presentable for the public, especially when many people are going to their blacksmith next door. At least it does not look like something that poor people are forced to live in.

That is why they stayed almost all night inside the blacksmith because its use was limited only inside any Nova's property. He does not know why basic, first-generation electronic gadgets have been unlocked in the shop, but he immediately bought it for a whopping 1,000 gold when he noticed it.

A week's worth of the blacksmith's profit went into the handheld game cube with 30+ simple games installed. Brian made sure that Paia can only play with it when he was present to avoid any mishaps from the iron-clad rule of the System.

"You can play with it when you're not working." Lucy was interested in the game cube she saw Paia was playing yesterday.

Since he has no problem with her keeping the secret of this technology, Brian permits her to use it as long as it will not hinder her work.

Watching her made Brian realize that if it was only possible to sell these products, he would become a millionaire in no time. Of course, it was impossible because it was too expensive if his supply is the Item Shop, and he does not have the knowledge to reverse engineer these things.

Only thirteen minutes left before the red cloth outside will vanish from this world. The father had finished bathing her daughter with magic-made water.

Paia was at the age where she would want to try everything and this includes magic. So when she saw her father doing these simple spells, her curiosity to learn what it was took over her.

Since most wolves of Triphon do not have the aptitude for bringing out their mana as physical manifestations, Raine did not tackle magic with Paia when she was teaching her basic knowledge.

"Father, can I also learn magic if I go to school?"

"Yes of course my genius cute angel can learn magic. But Paia needs to wait before she grows up more so she can be powerful."

Just like last time, they went to the empty lot where a giant red cloth was floating mid-air. Actually, this scene has become somewhat a tourist spot especially for those who visited the blacksmith since it was an unusual phenomenon that can only be explained by magic.

Many have tried to peek at what was underneath it, but it was to no avail. Even the person who caused it cannot see behind the curtains.

"It's the red dress from before!"

"Close your eyes then count to ten using the language Auntie Raine taught… Then Father magic will show."

Fortunately for Brian, no one was outside their homes yet in their neighborhood. And because the blacksmith won't be opening until half an hour from now, no line of people was coming towards his blacksmith.

Although there was one who did finish their morning routine and went to work, and that was Richi. But like the dedicated craftsman he is, he was in the workshop improving his skills.

Brian can feel Paia has covered her eyes with her hands. He was not sure if she was peeking or not, but it just made her more adorable when Brian thought about it.

Since he had Nova Initia as his business name, it did not take long before he typed what he wanted his alchemy shop to be known for. Or to be more specific, he was not creative enough to think something more catchy or smart.

A pre-set architecture he did not design stand up tall on the once empty lot. For the month it was being constructed, Brian did not know what his shop would look like after completion.

"Is this our new house Father? Why does it look just like Sister Lucy and Brother Richi blacksmith."

"Yeah… It does look the same."

The alchemy shop has the exact color palette on its walls and roof. However, those obvious things do look the same, the feeling he got when staring it from the top most to the ground was very different.

Instead of the comfortable impression, his blacksmith has from the outside, this alchemy shop does not stand at all. It was like magic was placed on everything to help it stand out the least.

As much does the aesthetic should stand out, he cannot look at it for long. Something within makes him ignore it and look at more interesting sceneries beside the building in front of him.

This uniqueness was really unsought for. Only Paia was happy with how it turns out. Mostly because the dominant color of his shops was bright yellow. Her favorite color ever since she came into Brian's life.

Brian was happy when he decided what his blacksmith would look like mainly because he was certain it will attract anyone walking on their street. It might be flashier than what he thought it would be, but it got the job done and many have entered his shop because they were curious.

On the other hand, if Brian understood it right, it will be impossible for this alchemy shop to gather walk-in customers alone with its appearance from an outsider's perspective.

A shop that does not show itself unless one seeks for it… What could go wrong?
