The unusual phenomenon II

As Yeshia continued her journey through the forest with Nuwa, she kept asking her various questions about cultivation. When nightfall approached, they had to find a suitable shelter to rest. Yeshia had initially planned to sleep beneath a tree during her journey, even though it was not entirely safe. However, it started raining heavily at night, and they had to look for a more secure shelter. Nuwa suggested that they should sleep in a nearby cave they had found during their evening trek, and Yeshia agreed.

Upon reaching the cave, Yeshia was completely drenched, but surprisingly, Nuwa was fine. Her clothes were completely dry and clean, as if she had never touched the ground and the rain refused to fall on her. Inside the cave was a lot bigger than it looked from outside, with a stream running through it and rare herbs surrounding it. The stone walls of the cave gave off light, making the inside brighter despite the darkness outside.

Yeshia had never seen such a stone before and found the cave to be strange. Even though it was full of resources, rare shining stones, and herbs, it seemed to be untouched by humans. Turning to Nuwa, she noticed that she was sitting cross-legged on a large stone platform, with closed eyes, and blue and purple colors circling around her. Yeshia knew that it was spirit energy, having seen similar colors around Gimrick before. However, the colors around Gimrick were green, perhaps due to different elemental spirits.

It was evident that Nuwa was currently cultivating, and Yeshia didn't want to disturb her. She walked to another stone platform similar to the one Nuwa was sitting on and prepared a bed for herself. She placed dry leaves on top of the platform and took a blanket from her bag to make a bed. Yeshia then stripped her drenched clothes and put on an extra top which she had fortunately brought with her.

She had another blanket inside her bag, which she placed near Nuwa, as she didn't have one.

Yeshia didn't know if cultivators needed sleep or not, but she still had to take care of Nuwa, who was helping her.

Azure, suddenly jumped from her shoulder and sat next to Nuwa inside the circling colors. Yeshia wanted to bring it back, but she feared that she might disturb Nuwa in the process. She returned to her bed and tried to get some sleep.

Even though yeshia felt sleep deprived throughout the day, she was still having difficulty falling asleep, she was having thoughts about her father.

An hour passed and yeshia started to hear strange sounds in the stream that was running through the cave. Yeshia moved closer to the stream, it was pretty deep because even though the water was clear she couldn't see the bottom of the stream. The sounds which she herd earlier stopped when she started looking around the stream. Not finding anything unusual yeshia decided to return to her bed but suddenly felt something behind her back.

Even though she didn't look behind, she could still fell a terrifying presence behind her. If it was the old yeshia, she would have been scared to death but now that she had witnessed the most grouesome death and that too of her father, she had lost her will to live as she lost the most important person in her life, she no longer cared of her own life. But something about the presence still gave her chills.

Yeshia turned around slowly to a gigantic green snake. The snake looked more than 40 meters long it's breadth was almost twice that of yeshia's height. The scales covering the snake were green and shiny. It has a big shiny jewel on its head that looked like a crown.

Despite having such features the most terrifying feature of the snake was one of its eyes, it had three eyes. The third eye of the snake on its forehead was red and seemed like a bottomless pit. Upon looking into its third eye yeshia felt dreadful as if the scene of her father's death was being replayed inside her mind and tears once again started flowing down her face. She was unable to move and look away from it. The snake started moving its head closer to her.

The sadness building up inside yeshia was turning into rage just like yesterday. When the snake's head was close to her it opened its mouth to display two large fangs the fangs touched yeshia's face.

It was as if the snake was not satisfied by yeshia expression, it wanted to see the fear inside her but could only see the boundless rage in her eyes.

Yeshia's eyes suddenly turned dark the rage had reached the point where yeshia just wanted to rip apart everything and destroy the whole world. Suddenly the rage inside her became overwhelming and exploded just like yesterday creating a shockwave, and she passed out.

The snakes fangs suddenly shattered, the hard shiny scales turned to powder. Its skin twisted and started burning due to the friction. The snake resembled burnt meat. The shockwave boiled the surface water of the stream and collided with the stone walls of the cave on two sides completely shattering them.

On the other side, as the waves were close to nuwa her eyes opened, her lips curved to form a terrifying smile, she used her hand to cover azure.

The shockwave crossed her shattering the jewels on her dress but she seemed unfazed by it still smiling. Azure was also saved by her hands.

Nuwa suddenly disappeared from her place along with azure and reappeared in front of fainted yeshia, embracing her and preventing her from falling in the boiling stream. The next second all three of them disappeared and reappeared outside the cave as the whole cave shattered and crumbled behind them.
