736 Extra 19: Change the World (17)

Kikyo was confused, so to try to understand the situation a bit more, she decided to look around.

The hair demon didn't seem to be the problem, so she looked at the other person on the spot and discovered the slight similarities the girl had with the man in front of her. In a few seconds, she figured out that this girl should be the reason why this man was furious, though she still didn't understand the real reason, so she slowly opened her mouth and asked - "Why are you furious, is it because of that girl?"

Kurama's pupils sharpened when he heard this as the mood of the place changed.

Kikyo froze when she felt this huge spiritual power, no, this wasn't just that, she could feel as if she was in front of something much worse than a Daiyokai, it was as if she was in front of a god.

Kurama could feel the chains around him snapping one after another before letting out a mighty roar.

"Tousan! No!" - Izumi exclaimed in terror as she could feel her father was furious. She never thought to see her father so angry, something that had only happened a very few times.

Kikyo unconsciously took a few steps back as she looked with slight fear at the man in front of her - "I-I..."

"Well, I'm going to fulfill your wishes..." - Kurama said with a cold tone - "I'm going to divide Kagome's soul between the two of you, though this won't be for free..."

Kikyo was silent before nodding weakly, after all, she knew that there was nothing for free in the world. If she wanted something, she had to pay an equivalent price, this was the case for everything, even for her spiritual powers, because she had to train until she passed out to increase a small fraction of her abilities - "What are you asking for payment?"

"It's simple..." - Kurama said with a huge smile - "Although I'll tell you that later, now I'm going to keep my part of the bargain..."

Inuyasha tried to say something, but the pressure he felt was too much.

Kurama immediately got to work, he quickly pulled a small white sphere out of Kikyo's body and with his Rinnegan, split it. This normally should have been a huge problem, though thanks to the difference between the laws of the two worlds, this job was quick and easy. After making sure everything was okay, he put half of the soul into Kikyo and the other half he had the [King of Hell] swallow her.

Kikyo froze when she saw this, though her expression changed to one of surprise when she saw how the soul he had divided, had returned to how it was before it was extracted inside her - "Impossible..."

Kurama didn't respond, he just waved his hands and made the revived priestess disappear from the spot.

"Kikyo!" - Inuyasha exclaimed in terror as he tried to get up, though with no favorable results because the pressure he felt was getting stronger.

Izumi felt tears running down her cheeks, because despite everything, she thought she had managed to make a strong connection with this boy, but such it seemed that she had overthought things.

Kurama said nothing more, he just snorted with disdain before putting the soul back to its original owner.

"Izumi, we're leaving" - Kurama said neutrally while ignoring the half-dog boy's questions.

"Tousan... I..." - Izumi said in panic.

"We're leaving!" - roared Kurama angrily as he looked at his daughter with regret - "I'm sorry, daughter, I'm sorry for yelling at you..."

"No, you don't have to apologize" - said Izumi with tears in her eyes. She knew why her father was so furious, so there was no way she could be angry with him or feel afraid of his actions.

Inuyasha felt something inside him break when he saw the tears running down Izumi's face - "I-I..."

"Say no more, boy" - Kurama said neutrally - "I recommend you to take my advice, because I'm making a huge effort not to tear you apart..."

Inuyasha remained silent as he looked at Izumi with regret. He quickly understood what had happened, so he cursed himself for being so stupid.

"Tousan, please don't do anything to him..." - Izumi said as she ran to her father.

Kurama didn't answer, he just looked at the boy with fury - "I knew things could have ended like this, although I thought you would surprise me like you had done before, but now I see that I was wrong..."

"Tousan, let's just get out of here, don't say anything else, don't hurt him anymore" - Izumi said as she prayed for the well-being of the boy who had gained her attention.

Kurama nodded weakly, though inside he was furious that despite the pain his daughter was feeling, she was still trying to defend the boy. He could only curse that his daughter came out just like her mother in the field of love, because Mikoto had also sacrificed too much for him during the first moments of their relationship.

"You are just like your mother, princess" - Kurama said as he walked to his daughter and stroked her black hair - "For now rest..."

Izumi's eyes widened like saucers when she heard this, though she quickly felt everything around her darken - "T-Tousan..."

Kurama sighed as he carefully picked up his daughter and walked to the Hanyo with a cold expression.

Inuyasha averted his gaze as he felt the silver-haired man's pupils pierce through his body.

"I may sound like a hypocrite for feeling furious for seeing you with an undecided heart, after all, I have more than one wife..." - Kurama said as he narrowed his eyes - "But honestly I don't care, not when you hurt my baby..."

"I-I... I... I didn't mean to..." - Inuyasha replied as he gritted his teeth.

"I don't care if it was intentional, or not" - Kurama said as he grabbed the boy by the hair and lifted his head with a cold face. He looked the hanyo straight in the eyes and said with a serene voice - "The only thing that matters to me, is that it happened, and now my baby is suffering..."

Inuyasha tried to duck his gaze, though Kurama wouldn't let him, he quickly made him raise his head firmly - "Ugh..."

"Listen, this is the last thing I'm going to tell you..." - Kurama said as he let out a heavy sigh and tried to calm his anger - "Are you paying attention to me?"

"Y-Yes..." - Inuyasha replied with difficulty.

"Okay, here's what we'll do" - Kurama said as he touched the half-dog boy's forehead.

Inuyasha let out a sharp cry of pain as he felt something hot on his back.

"Don't worry, this seal won't hurt you" - said Kurama with disdain as he watched the boy squirming on the ground from the pain, and if he was honest, this made him pleased because at least now he felt a little better after causing this pain to the bastard who had hurt his baby - "This seal will tell me where you are, and it will help you in your training."

Inuyasha didn't respond, he was more concerned with the deep pain in his back.

"Are you listening to me?" - Kurama asked with a frown.

"Y-Yes..." - Inuyasha replied as he gritted his teeth.

"Well, as I was saying, this seal will also allow me to communicate with you when the time is right" said Kurama seriously.

"Why..." - Inuyasha muttered weakly.

"Because when the time is right, I'm going to tell you where Kikyo and my daughter will be" - replied Kurama coldly.

Inuyasha's eyes widened when he heard this as he weakly looked up - "W-what's the point of that..."

"It's simple, I want you to be the one to choose which person you love the most, although I want to warn you something..." - Kurama said neutrally - "If you choose Kikyo, then don't even think about trying to reunite with my baby, because the moment I feel your presence, you'll be dead without knowing how I did it. By the way, if you choose my baby and your feelings aren't true, well, with the pain of my soul I'm going to eliminate you even if my princess hates me, after all, I'm not going to let anyone play with the feelings of my little Izumi..."

Inuyasha fell silent before he felt everything around him turn dark, though not before hearing Kurama's voice echoing in his head - "I hope when it's time, you'll have your answer..."

"Ugh... What happened?" - Kagome muttered as she struggled to her feet and grabbed her head, so she could shake off this nagging pain she was feeling.

She slowly opened her eyes, still disoriented because she could feel how everything around her was blurry, though after a few seconds to adjust, she felt everything return to normal.

She slowly shook her head and looked around again, only to remember what had happened earlier - "Right, we had come to retrieve the remains of the priestess Kikyo!"

Kagome quickly stood up, only to feel her body seem to be paralyzed. She quickly thought the worst, though a few more seconds of rest caused her to calm down and discover that it wasn't that she was paralyzed, but that her body seemed to be weakened - "What happened?"

The girl again looked around, only to let out a cry of surprise when she saw a familiar person unconscious a few feet away from her - "Inuyasha!"
