"How did you do that?" - Tohru asked as she watched Kanna playing with one of Kurama's clones.

"I'm a Kitsune, it's in my nature to be a prankster, and I have many experiences with children like her" - Kurama answered with a small smile, not noticing that he could notice the loneliness in the little dragon girl's eyes.

Kurama could see how she was just like the original Naruto, someone who played pranks to get the attention of others. Little Kanna was using the pranks as an appeal to her parents, but it didn't seem to show results, that's why she loved Tohru so much.

Tohru was always there for her, even when she was playing pranks as usual, so when she heard that people were saying that she had died, Kanna couldn't resist her hatred for them and started to have a prank fest against those responsible.

Tohru smiled when she heard this as her tail wagged slightly showing her happiness.

"I'm hungry" - Kanna muttered as she grabbed her stomach.

"What do you want to eat?" - Mirajane asked with a small smile as she noticed how cute the little girl was now that she was much calmer next to her "parents".

"Everything" - answered Kanna, surprising the all the people in the place.

"Everything?" - Mirajane repeated as she looked at Tohru in search of answers.

"Don't look down on Kanna, she's a dragon just like me, and she has a voracious appetite thanks to the fact that she's still growing" - said Tohru while watching as little Kanna nodded.

"But isn't it a lot?" - asked Mirajane, confused.

"Trust me, it's only just enough" - replied Tohru as she shook her head.

"Ok, I'm going to place your order" - said Mirajane while shaking her head.

10 minutes later, Kanna was eating the easiest dishes that Mirajane had brought her, only to notice how the little girl was devouring everything in front of her.

Kurama watched this with concern, not because he felt she might get sick from eating so much, but because he knew this would take a long time and the little girl would finish long before Mirajane could bring the rest, so with a snap of his fingers, he materialized a huge amount of food in front of the little girl.

Kanna was surprised at this, but quickly began to eat without worry.

Everyone looked with surprise at Kurama, who only said that this was one of his abilities.

"What do I do with the rest of the order?" - Mirajane asked worriedly because she didn't know what to do now.

"Relax, just go on with your work, I'll take care of Kanna" - said Kurama with a smile.

"Okay?" - Mirajane nodded before taking another order.

"Can you materialize things just by snapping your fingers?" - Kana asked as she raised an eyebrow.

"Yes" - nodded Kurama calmly.

"Even alcohol?" - Kana asked again.

"Yes" - nodded Kurama again.

Kana's eyes twinkled slightly, but her expression changed when she noticed how the white-haired girl, was looking at her neutrally.

"Uh, do you need anything?" - Kana asked with concern because she noticed that the girl wasn't very happy.

"He's of Tohru-sama, stay away" - said Kanna while narrowing her eyes.

"Uh, I don't understand what you're trying to say, I just wanted to ask him for a keg of beer" - replied Kana with an embarrassed look.

Kanna didn't say anything else, she just retreated in silence, while Mirajane gave her a smile because it was the first time she saw her friend being put in her place.

Kurama didn't say anything about it, he just took Kanna in his arms and took her back to eat, something that surprised the women because they didn't expect the white-haired man to act so paternal with a girl he had just met.

Kanna watched in surprise at this, but slowly tears began to stream down her cheeks, after all, it was the first time she had experienced the warmth of a father in years.

"Relax, it's all right" - Kurama said as he stroked the little girl's head - "There are no more problems."

"Thank you, daddy" - murmured Kanna as she hugged Kurama's leg.

Kurama froze, something noticed by the little girl who quickly tried to apologize, though he stopped her before she did.

"Relax, I told you everything is fine" - said Kurama as he created some ice cream - "Come, let's eat some."

"Aw ~" - said Mirajane and Lucy as they saw how Kurama was giving ice cream to Kanna, who was devouring her food with gusto.

"He's mine" - roared Tohru with a red face when he felt the women were releasing pheromones.

"What's going on here?" - Makarov asked, only to see the little girl with horn and tail - "Ok, I'm not going to ask."

"Master?!" - [Fairy Tail] members exclaimed as they watched the old man go to his office.

"Anyway, do you guys want to join [Fairy Tail]?" - Makarov asked as he took a beer and looked at Kurama, who was holding Kanna in his arms.

"It's the best we can do for the moment" - replied Kurama as he shrugged - "I can't leave until I finish my mission, which I have no idea what it is."

"Mission?" - Makarov repeated as he frowned, only to shrug, the best he could do, was to ignore everything strange the white haired man said.

"Dad, what are we going to do now?" - Kanna asked as she tugged at Kurama's clothes.

"What do you want to do?" - Kurama asked with a smile - "Do you want to see the city?"

"OK" - nodded Kanna as she swung her legs.

"You're taking this too easy" - said Makarov as he raised an eyebrow.

"It's not my first time dealing with a child that is not biologically mine" - said Kurama as he continued to stroke the little girl's head.

"Daddy, I want more ice cream" - said Kanna as she pointed to her now empty bowl.

"Ok" - smiled Kurama, not caring that the little girl was acting extremely spoiled, after all, he could see how happy she was just by having his attention.

"I want to go to the bathroom" - muttered Kanna with a frown.

"Come, I'll take you" - replied Mirajane as she took the little girl.

Kanna looked up and watched the kind woman, only to follow her without concern.

"Kanna has a good sense for knowing what people think" - Tohru said with a smile as she rubbed up against Kurama, as if marking territory.

"What are you doing?" - Kana asked with surprise.

"I'm marking him as mine" - growled Tohru as she wagged her tail happily.

Kurama just ignored the girl as he continued to talk to Makarov about his situation, leaving the important details aside.

While they were talking, a boy appeared, running with tears in his eyes because his father still didn't return from his mission.

Kurama watched this with a frown, not because the child was disturbing him, not because the child was annoying him, but because he couldn't stand to see a child crying for his parents in danger, so he quickly disappeared, and in the process, causing Tohru to fall to the ground comically, though no one laughed because they knew she was strong enough to annihilate the entire building if they annoyed her.

A minute later, Kurama was returning next to a strange man who was tired.

The boy quickly ran to his father and thanked the strange man who had brought him back so quickly.

Kurama just smiled as he walked back to his seat, just by the time Kanna was returning.

The boy looked at Kanna with red cheeks, but quickly retreated back to his father's side.

"Did something happen?" - Mirajane asked as she tilted her head in confusion.

"It's nothing," replied Kurama as he took Kanna in his arms and sat her down to eat her food.

"How did you manage to spot Romeo's father, Macao?" - Makarov asked in surprise.

"I have the ability to sense people's auras, so detecting someone with a similar aura signature, wasn't that hard, although when I found him, he was being possessed by a strange perverted monkey" - replied Kurama as he gave some ice cream to the little white-haired girl.

"Ah, Vulcan" - said Makarov while shaking his head - "Those things are annoying and intelligent, they are also perverted animals that can use magic [Take Over] to possess the bodies of humans that approach their nests. If I remember correctly, Macau's mission was to defeat a group of those things, that explains the situation."

"Aren't these kinds of jobs, best done in a group?" - Kurama asked while frowning.

"That's right, but maybe he needed the whole money, that's why he went alone" - Makarov answered while shaking his head - "I warned him to be careful because those things are more trouble than he thinks, but he didn't listen to me".

Kurama didn't say anything else, he just shrugged because it wasn't his problem, not noticing how Tohru was with a depressive aura on the ground.
