End of the Examination!

"T-THREE ELEMENTS??!?! MORE THAN TWO?! MORE THAN ME!?!" Ash was in shock.

"HAHAHAHAHA!" Bryan laughed his ass off.

"WOOHOOO! LET'S GO ALGOOO!" Ray cheered his ass off. Even Asif was surprised, considering it was extremely rare to have dual elements much less gain three elements.

"Seriously, are they like the prodigal sons of God?" Cristina uttered in awe.

"Nah, he's our brother!" Asif said. Bryan, Ray and Ash smiled cheekily at her.

"You guys..." Cristina shook her head.

Meanwhile back at the testing platform,

"Soo...I'm assuming based from everyone's reaction, I just scored the jackpot?" Algo presumed.

"Haha, you did more than score the jackpot. You won the lottery!" The Director extremely happy with the situation.

"A person compatible with three elements is simply unheard of. The possibilities and the potential far surpasses the norm. You simply have unimaginable talent."

"Anyways, congratulations on attaining three elements, young man."

"Thank you, Sir."

"Algo Killian, Purple Grade, Elemental Affinity - Wind, Water and Earth!" The Director announced and the crowd still cheered on.

Algo happily walked back towards the group. He was bombarded with compliments and questions but skillfully avoided them by eating.

"Hey, no fair Algo. I was happy with my Fire and Ice but you had to go and get not one, not two, but THREE FREAKING ELEMENTS!!" Ash said in defeat.

"Not my fault, if anything blame yourself for just getting two elements." Algo replied before peacefully eating some potato balls.

"..." Ash was speechless.

""HAHAHAHAHA!!"" Both Bryan and Ray laughed uproariously.

"You're next, Ray. What do you think you'll get?" Ash asked.

"Ehh, I don't really care. As long as I get one element, I'm happy with it." Ray shrugged.

"The last candidate, Ray Angelo. Please come to the platform!"

Ray took a deep breath and walked towards the testing platform. 'It would be a lie if I said I don't care.'

He reached the platform and stood at the center. 'Ah, fuck it. Lets just hope I get lucky.' Ray silently prayed inside.

"So, you're the youngest of the bunch?" The Director scrutinized Ray and inquired.

"Yes, Mr. Director." Ray answered.

"Blue-Purple grade, although not up to your friends level, it is still very commendable."

"You don't have to remind me my grade, Mr. Director." Ray complained.

"That you got a Blue-Purple grade?" The Director lightly grinned.

"..." Ray grumbled inside.

"Don't worry about your grade or what elements you get. As long as you work hard, you'll be able to achieve anything." The Director encouraged him.

"Thank you." Ray thanked him. "You know, for being the Director of the world's only magic academy, I thought you would be a rigid strict old bag of bones, but instead you're a pretty good dude."

"Hahaha..." The Director enjoyed his choice of words.

"I like you, young man."

"Likewise, Mr. Director!" Ray smirked.

"Anyways, I'm pretty sure everyone is eager to know your results. Are you ready?"

"I am now." Ray said. 'Damn, I feel kind of cheerful now. What a dude.'

"Then, let's get on with it."

Soon, the Director activated the formation, lighting up the platform as systematized. Ray standing at the center, felt an uncomfortable tug at the depth of his body.

He was darting back and forth between the various elemental runes, curious to which one he would be compatible with. After a few seconds of apt attention and curiosity, the rune representing the thunderbolt, gradually lit up, emanating a bone deep crackling sound showcasing it's majestic presence to the world.

'I-Isn't that Lightning??' Ray thought incredulously.

"Hoho, Lightning huh." The Director well satisfied with the outcome. 'So Earth has produced it's first Lightning Elemental Mage. About time...!'

"MOTHERFUCKER! He got Lightning?? That's so cool..." Ash happy and moaned at the same time.

"What are you complaining for, monkey!" Algo rebuked.

"Lightning sounds pretty cool, to be honest." Bryan commented, just to poke fun at Ash.

"Fuck off."

At the testing platform,

"Excuse me, Mr. Director." Ray said.

"Yes?" The Director extremely happy with the result.

"I feel like there's something more..." Ray still felt an uncomfortable sensation in his body.

"Oh..." The Director was intrigued now more than ever.

'I heard normally the elements awaken ordered by their categories. Could it be...' The Director stood with trembling hands after making such an audacious thought. 'No, it can't-'

The Director thoughts were interrupted when suddenly one of the runes began to illuminate. The lone cracked diamond-shaped rune began to glow intensely, and at the same time, the platform started vibrating.

"..." For the first time ever, the Director was shocked speechless. As far as everyone knew, it was hard for him to lose his composure like that.

Back at the black platform, Old man Reid and Zac were astounded much less what the instructors were feeling like.

"I-Its the Space element." Zac muttered.

"..." Old man Reid had no words to describe what he was feeling. He knew that Ray always loved to be competitive with his brothers, especially since he was always taken care of by them. He always wanted to return the favor and the magical world would be a great place to start.

But with the aptitude examination, deep down he was losing hopes of ever repaying his brothers. Now, with the Space element and the Lightning element, he can fill the gap that ever widened between him and his brothers.

"You know what this means, don't you?!" Zac rhetorically asked. Old man Reid nodded and didn't say anything after.

Back at the testing platform,

"NO F-FREAKIN' WAY!!" Ash practically screamed out loud. The rest of the brothers were speechless too, they never thought the youngest would be compatible with an element categorized as Legendary.

"T-This is unbelievable..." The Director uttered.

'Wait....I GOT S-SPACE?! THE SPACE ELEMENT??' Ray wore the widest grin known to mankind. The Director was still processing what he saw.

"Aren't I amazing, old man?" Ray was feeling extremely smug and happy.

"Do you know what the chances of getting one of the legendary elements are?" The Director asked.

"I don't know but I sure did get one." Ray cheekily said.

"You brat. You don't know how lucky you are."

"Lucky or not, I don't care. I finally can catch up to my brothers."

"Still thinking about your brothers eh? You guys have a deep bond, cherish it deeply. Now, scurry away. I have to announce your result."

"Hehe, thank you, old man."

The Director smiled and quickly regained his composure finally announcing the result of the last candidate of this year's examination.

"Ray Angelo, Blue-Purple Grade, Elemental Affinity - Lightning and...Space!"

The crowd of students were stunned silly and when they heard the announcement, it's like a dam burst forth through unleashing a rampage. The entire chamber echoed with praises and cheers for Ray.

"You guys saw that? I know, I know, you don't have to say anything, I'm naturally amazing." Ray proudly said.

"You annoying bitch." Ash was overjoyed at that fact.

"So, you have both Lightning and Space?" Bryan muttered.

"It is cool indeed." Asif nodded in clear happiness.

"Have some potatoes, Ray." Algo handed out an offering.

"Thanks." Ray happily accepted and munched on them.

"So, guys that means we're all somehow amazing." Ash pointed out.

"Yeah...we are." Bryan said.

"This calls for a...CELEBRATION PARTY!!" Ray cheered.

""WOOHOOOOO!!"" The three dragged Asif and Algo into their celebratory dance.

"Who would think they are the once in a lifetime prodigies..." Melissa grumbled.

"Ah, what's life if you don't have fun." Cristina smilingly said, affected by their happiness.

"Tch!" Melissa looked at the brothers and a small smile creeped up.

Back at the black platform,

"They do have fun, don't they?" Old man Reid asked with a light smile.

"They do but they don't their responsibilities yet. Once they do, I wonder if they'll stay the same." Zac pointed out.

"Haha, Zac my dear friend. I've known them since forever. I know for a fact, that nothing and nobody can shake nor touch their brotherly bond." Old man Reid said in absolute confidence.

"I hope you're right."

"Sigh, I know what you're thinking. Everything is at stake here, we cannot afford to make any mistakes. That's why I trust them to lead us." Old man Reid said while looking at the group of brothers.

"You have that much confidence in them huh."

"I do."

Zac sighed, "Alright, I will trust you in your decision. Anyways, I know you're always right."

"Haha..." Old man Reid laughed lightly.

"I know we made the right decision." A voice sounded out. It was the Director who floated away from the testing platform after Ray left to the black platform.

"They're a good bunch of kids. As long as we steer them in the right way, we'll be in safe hands."

"I agree." Old man Reid agreed.

"Let's end the examination, Alexander." Zac said. Old man Reid nodded along with him.

"Quiet down, everyone!" The Director's voice echoed everywhere instantly silencing everyone.

"The Human Federation Academy was built to ensure that we, the Elemental Mages of Earth live and fight to protect Earth in and out. After 10 years of painstaking efforts and hard work, it is finally our time to shine."

"If there is no struggle, there is no progress. Remember our two rules. Rule number one, never quit and rule number two, Always remember rule number one."

"Please everyone, welcome our new students to the academy."

Almost immediately, loud cheers and applauses resounded the chamber. The small speech made everyone's blood boil with vigor and passion.

"Wow..." Ray said with admiration.

"Wow indeed..." Ash followed suit.

"For Earth!" The Director ended it with a simple phrase.

"FOR EARTH!"

"FOR EARTH!"

"FOR EARTH!"

The crowd boiled with excitement and they all chanted with passionate intensity. The brothers looking at this couldn't help but feel their blood boil with passion too. They too joined the others.

""FOR EARTH!!!""

"This is what it means to be a part of our academy." Zac said.

"They need it." Head Instructor Zoe said.

"No matter what adversaries we face, we shall face it without fear." Instructor Mariah resolutely said.

"Well said." Old man Reid complimented.

"It is time to begin our preparations." The Director noted. The others nodded.

After the crowd cooled down from their excitement and since the examination was over, they left to practice and study. The black platform moved and descended in front of the exam candidates.

"Congratulations to you all for successfully reaching the road of magic. I, the Director of the Human Federation Academy, hereby announce that you have become the new students of our academy."

"I'll take my leave now as I have other important matters to pertain to. I'll leave it to the others." The Director swiftly left the chamber.

"Apart from the five brothers, everyone else, please follow Head Instructor Zoe where she'll give you the general instructions of our academy." Old man Reid instructed.

Apart from the five brothers, the rest left with Head Instructor Zoe and soon only Old man Reid and the five brothers remained.

"Did you see us, old man?" Ray asked expectantly.

"Yeah yeah, we did amazing." Ash impatiently nodded.

"I saw everything haha. I'm very proud of you kids." Old man Reid complimented them.

"You know, I still can't believe you're the Vice-Director of the academy." Bryan said.

"Yeah, why did you have to hide your identity?" Asif curiously asked.

"*Sigh*, I knew you would ask this." Old man Reid sighed.

"I'll tell you once you reach a certain power level. For now, I want you all to get accommodated and start practicing magic."

"YES YES! I WANNA DO SOME MAGIC!" Ash extremely excited.

Old man Reid shook his head, "Young man, have patience. Now follow me, I'll take you to your place."

"Aye, Sir."

They followed Old man Reid out of the chamber and soon followed a cobblestone path. Since they were outside, they were met with fiery and curious gazes. Ever since they awakened their grades and elements, the news of it spread each and every corner of the academy.

Now everyone knows the five brothers are incredibly talented and gifted. They are once-in-a-lifetime geniuses. So, everyone is curious to what they look like and et cetera.

"Man, everyone is just staring at us." Ray observed.

"Yeah, it's kind of creepy." Ash said.

"I think they're hungry..." Algo absent-mindedly said. Asif just shook his head.

"This place looks cool though." Bryan admired.

"Of course, it's the only academy that teach and cultivate youngsters like you to be strong Elemental Mages." Old man Reid informed.

"We have a lot of questions for you." Asif said.

"I know, but now is not the time."

"Alright."

After passing a lot of buildings and numerous gazes, they finally reached before a cozy looking beach house. It has two floors and a basement, with a balcony on each floor. The location is pretty isolated from the rest of the academy buildings.

"Are we really staying here?" Bryan asked.

"Yes, you kids are."

"Sweet!" Ash immediately darted towards the house.

"Hey, wait for me!" Ray followed him inside.

"Come, let's take a look at your house." Old man Reid beckoned them over.

They entered the house and a large open living area clad in beautiful pine timber on the walls and ceiling, making for a warm and comfortable space to relax in. The house was furnished moderately well. There's all the modern convenience machinery and tools, and a fireplace to boot.

"So, everything good?" Old man Reid asked smilingly.

"This is beyond amazing..." Bryan looked around. Asif and Alger immediately sat on the couch and relaxed.

"Where are the other two?" Asif questioned.

""We're here!"" Ray and Ash both came out of a door leading to the basement.

"Old man, why is the basement so big and empty?" Ray asked in confusion.

"It's for combat purposes. The walls are made up of special materials that can sustain a decent amount of damage whenever you have your physical fights."

"Ahhh, alright." Ray nodded.

"Tomorrow, you have to attend classes to gain some knowledge about the magic world."

"But how do we get to the classes?" Asif asked.

"Just follow the cobblestone path, and ask the other students." Old man Reid answered.

"Okay..." Asif confused.

"Now to the exciting part, are you guys ready to feel and cultivate elemental energy?" Old man Reid asked.
