1 Drowned in the Han River

Hhhh. . . hhh . . .hhh

Bai Lu was seen running so fast as she tried to avoid the attacks of the gumiho who had been relentlessly chasing her. Her labored breathing caused her to lose her way several times and almost fell down several times as the gumiho tried to catch her.

"Aishhhh, why are they still chasing me!!!" Bai Lu continued to run and try to avoid the pursuit of the gumiho, where the gumiho or nine-tailed fox demon continuously chased her tirelessly. while glancing back several times, Bai Lu accelerated her footsteps even more.

"Leave me alone!!!" Bai Lu shouted so loudly that he accidentally tripped over a large rock in front of him and fell right on to the ground full of puddles.

Brukkk. . . Bai Lu fell face down on the watery ground. His entire body was soaked, and his face was smeared with mud that made him accidentally eat the black soil full of dirt.

"Hand over the sacred red stone to me, or you will die right now!" The fox demon continued to approach Bai Lu and continued to hurt him with his fox scales that he deliberately threw at Bai Lu, making Bai Lu's body skin that was hit by the fox scales bleed.

"What do you mean, I don't understand what you're talking about?" Bai Lu tried to break free from the gumiho's bondage while crawling backwards with both eyeballs still staring at the gumiho who tried to hurt her.

"You stupid girl!"

The fox demon flew straight at Bai Lu and tried to strangle her neck, making it difficult for her to breathe. With her eyes starting to turn red and almost losing her breath, the gumiho lifted Bai Lu's petite body so high and pushed her so fast towards the holy waterfall.

"Hand over the holy red stone right now or I'll throw you into this holy waterfall!"

"A . . ak. ak. . . I don't understand what you're saying." Bai Lu replied with her throat starting to choke painfully.

"You're completely useless, I'd better kill you!"

The fox demon instantly threw Bai Lu's body downwards causing her to fall into the sacred waterfall, then drown.

"No!!!" Bai Lu cried out loudly while holding her neck, which was hot and sore.

Hearing her son's screams in the room, the middle-aged woman who was in the kitchen immediately entered a room filled with big posters of famous boy bands in South Korea in her day.

"Lu, what's wrong with you, son? Lulu, are you okay?"

"Mom? I'm still alive, right?" exclaimed Bai Lu who hugged her mother as soon as she saw her coming to her as she woke up with sweat pouring down her body.

"You must have had a nightmare, right? Is it because you watched a gumiho movie last night, that's why you had a nightmare that caused you to break out in a cold sweat like this?" asked her mother as she looked at her son's face and then gently held his cheeks.

"It might be like that, Mom." Bai Lu let out a short sigh.

Choi Bai Lu. The 25-year-old girl immediately wiped her sweat with her right hand when she woke up from her nightmare. Choi Bai Lu was a Korean - Shanghai girl who had been living with her mother in South Korea for the past 15 years.

Since her father died 15 years ago, Bai Lu and her mother immediately left the country that was her father's hometown, then lived with her mother in her home country.

Bai Lu was a weak and lonely girl. She never spoke much because she was a bit quiet. However, behind her quiet character, Bai Lu watches colossal and horror series like the legendary gumiho in Korea even though she is actually a very timid girl.

"Hurry up and get up, aren't you going to work?" asked her mother as she stood up and opened the blue curtains of her daughter's room.

"Yes, I'm going to take a shower first, Mom."

Bai Lu grabbed her polka-dot towel that was sitting on a chair near her study table, then hurried to the bathroom not far from her bedroom. While taking a shower and pouring his whole body over the shower, a tattoo suddenly appeared near Bai Lu's back.

The tattoo was dark blue in color and seemed to be inscribed with tagalog letters that looked vague to read. Previously, Bai Lu had no tattoos at all. But, since dreaming of being chased by a gumiho last night, the tattoo suddenly appeared on his back near his left shoulder.

"What is this? Why is there suddenly a tattoo like this near my back?" he muttered quietly while holding a tattoo on his left shoulder.

After finishing his shower and having breakfast with his mother, Bai Lu immediately rushed off to work. While riding her motorcycle, Bai Lu still looked confused and frightened by her nightmare.

"The dream was really like reality. Why did I suddenly dream of being chased by a gumiho? In fact, I usually never dream like that, and I was almost killed in my dream. This is very strange."

There were so many questions in his mind. However, he had to stay focused on riding his motorcycle because if he didn't, he could fall off the bike and get into a fatal accident.

On the way to work, Bai Lu accidentally saw a woman standing near a bridge as if she was about to attempt suicide.

"What is that woman doing?" muttered Bai Lu quietly while glancing at the desperate-looking woman standing near the bridge.

Since it was very disturbing to her mind and eyesight, Bai Lu immediately stopped her motorcycle at the side of the road then ran and tried to stop the woman who was about to make a suicide attempt.

"Hey, what are you doing? Don't try to jump down!" shouted Bai Lu trying to stop the beautiful woman from killing herself.

The woman briefly looked back at Bai Lu. She smiled slightly and prepared to jump. Seeing this, Bai Lu immediately ran so fast and tried to catch the woman so she wouldn't jump and fall to the bottom of the river which was right under the bridge.

But unfortunately, Bai Lu, who intended to try to stop the suicide, instead fell into the river with the woman.

"No!!!" shouted Bai Lu who then drowned with the woman in the Han River.
