Our leader is a baby bunny?!! Are you serious????

POV First Person

It was currently night time as we began to make our way through the forest to meet Cerberus' pack. As he ran through the forrest with me sitting on his head, something was on my mind that I wanted to ask him.

"Cerberus, I have something very important to ask you." I said in the most serious way possible.

"Y-yes of course Master Nero, I will answer anything you have to ask!!" Said Cerberus surprised at the sudden seriousness I exuded.

"Ok, how old are you Cerberus, you said you were your packs leader for many generations, are you a grandpa?!" I said curious about my new friends age

"Oh that's simple, I've been the pack leader for 6 generations, and a wolfs lifespan is usually about 10 years, I've been alive for about 9 generations, and I'm able to live longer that my average wolf because I am one of the few evolved wolves in my pack, a demon wolf. Master how old are you?!" Said Cerberus as he explained his age to me.

"Oh, I'm almost a day old!" I said casually

"Oh… I lost to a bunny….. a baby at that…" Said Cerberus dejectedly under his breath.

With that information out of the way we continued our journey to where his pack is. We ran for a long time until we found ourselves nearing a cave much bigger than the one I was born in.

POV third person.

As Nero and Cerberus were nearing the previous pack of Cerberus, the pack was planning to search for their missing leader.

A conversation was happening between the two alpha's of the pack.

"Where is our leader, he's been gone for quite some time, he should've been able to hunt himself some food and comeback hours ago." Said Alpha 1 worriedly.

"He shouldn't even be hunting for himself, that's what we're for. He's just to merciful, and pities the weaker members of our pack. Useless bottomfeed-" said Alpha 2 who was furious at the members of the pack who weren't strong enough to hunt their own food.

"DON'T! We should be grateful for a leader who cares enough about their pack to eat only when everybody else in the pack eats."

Before Alpha 1 could continue she was interrupted by a beta who came in a hurry.

"Alpha, the leader has returned!" said the beta panting.

Both the alpha's looked at each other then ordered the beta to lead the way.

The arrival of their pack leader caused all of the alpha's, beta's, and omega's to come out of the cave to welcome their pack leader back. When the Alpha's finally came outside and saw their pack leader, they were confused… why was there a bunny on his head, maybe a snack for later? Before they could welcome their leader back, Cerberus spoke.

"I am no longer your leader, I have lost in a fight and was mercifully spared and given my acknowledgment for the position to my new leader. The great bunny Nero!!!" Said Cerberus as he finished with a growl to gain the attention of his previous pack

After his introduction, Nero jumped off of Cerberus' head and landed in a cute… adorabl-… strong stance. He stared at his soon to be pack and said

"Hello, you can call me Nero, I took away the position from your leader, if you disagree then challenge me, else submit!!" Said Nero as dominating as he could.

The rest of the pack was dumbfounded, a bunny beat their leader, who was the strongest one among them. Nonsense, how could that even happen, the bunny is like many times smaller!

"Blasphemy, you leave after hunting for the weak members of the pack, and come back with this! You expect us to accept that our leader is a baby bunny! Are you serious!? Maybe you were wrong to be our leader in the first place, I will not accept this!" Said alpha 2 who was already on bad terms with literally everybody, bursting out in a fit of rage. He began to walk closer to Nero and growled in his face.

"If this prey is our new leader then I don't accept it, I will gladly take it from you!" Said alpha 2 ready to pounce on Nero. Before he could Cerberus spoke.

"If you want to challenge Nero for the leader of the pack then do so formally with the death match!" Said Cerberus annoyed at the blatant disrespect the alpha was giving Nero.

"Alpha are you sure, the pack leader was our strongest member and he was supposedly defeated by this bunny, I don't think so lowly of our leader as to lie, it's might be dangerous fo-"

Said Alpha 1 who was trying to be cautious before she was interrupted

"GrrrAaah! I don't care, no way will I lose to prey, cmon I challenge you, prey!" Said alpha 2 as he yelled in Nero's face.

"Yes, of course I accept, this'll be fun!" Said Nero jumping around, not matching the mood at all.

POV first person

Now you may be wondering how can I speak with these wolves when they are not yet apart of my pack, well of course I picked up their language while speaking with Cerberus on our way here. It's seems that I'm going to fight this alpha who hasn't seem to have lost their alpha buff. Interesting… this unique skill is super cool.

We began to make our way in side the cave, the cave was very deep and you can tell it's been terraformed. There where glowing crystals that range from blue to purple to green, which lit up the cave. As we continued to walk through I saw smaller wolves in the cave, these were wolves that didn't evolve and were still just animals like myself. Although they seem weak, they also seem to be awakened to mana, I'm assuming due to the [Pack Leader] skill.

We finally made our way to a big dome like space with varying different elevations and platforms. The Betas and omegas went to sit on platforms as alpha 1 and Cerberus climbed to the highest elevated platform.

"I as the alpha will proctor this death match, challenger Alpha, please step to your side, Nero please step to your side. This match will decide who the pack will accept" said alpha 1 who was internally worried for her pack member

I watched as the puppy who wants to play walk to the other side of the cave and I decided to do the same.

"Hahaha!! I've always wanted to be pack leader and killing a bunny is all I have to do, Hahaha!!!" Said alpha 2 confidently.

All I did was chuckle, seeing that'll be fun to see what this Demon wolf could do, I planning on playing with him for a while , heheh

"Now, FIGHT!!!" Said alpha 1 who started the battle.

I saw the wolf run at me as I saw his claws gain a blue hue to them and grow a construct of mana.

"Oh, this'll be fun!" I said under my breath.

P.S. sry I literally just stopped writing, I have a hard time with ✨commitment✨. But anyway I decided to start again and I'll try to continue the story for as far as my brain and creativity can go. Criticism/Suggestions are always welcome 🤗
