1 In The Direction Of The Unknown

My name is Gray, and I'm no more than seventeen years old.

When I was young, specifically when my grandfather was dying, he entrusted me with a necklace he never parted with in his life. Before he passed away, he entrusted me with the task of keeping it.

I didn't care much about it. But, as I promised him, it never left my neck... until the day it saved me.

...

"Mom! I'll be late coming back, don't wait for me for dinner!"

He quickly closes the door.

Heading towards his bike, Gray sets off to his friend Kirito's house, finding him waiting.

"Hey, Kirito! Come on, let's hurry, we'll miss the party!"

"Quickly, it's 7:45, only 15 minutes left!"

"Alright, alright... hold on tight!"

Gray speeds away.

"Phew, we made it on time."

"Come on, let's go in and enjoy our time!"

...

After 6 hours:

"It was an amazing party!"

"Yes! I didn't feel the time passing!"

"Let's go back home! Our families are waiting for us."

They head towards Kirito's house...

Without warning, a large truck crashes into them, and...

We find ourselves lying on the ground in unbearable pain!

I couldn't control myself and started screaming with a blurred vision and fading consciousness.

My gaze turns to my friend, but he's nowhere to be found!

I lose consciousness completely!

I find myself diving into a deep lake, its bottom dark, until a light shines from the necklace!

"Hi."

"Hello."

I wake up to a gentle voice charming my ears, coming from a beautiful girl with fair skin, long pointed ears, blue-gray eyes, and white hair.

"Are you okay, child?"

"Ye... yes."

Child?

"Where am I?"

Gray examines his body and finds no signs of the collision on it.

He discovers that his body has shrunk, and his clothes are too big for him. Standing in confusion, he looks around to find himself in a forest glowing with a faint green color.

He asks the girl, "Where am I, and what's the story behind your strange outfit?" (Thinking she's in cosplay)

"Do you not know where we are? This is the land of the Elves!"

"The land of the Elves?"

"Who are you? And why are you in the sacred forest? Who allowed you to enter?"

The girl notices Gray's ears and says to him, strangely tinged with a shiver:

"Are you human?"

He tells her, "Yes."

The girl takes two slow steps back.

Then, she turns and runs quickly.

"Wait a moment! You haven't told me your name yet..."

The girl doesn't respond.

Gray doesn't understand why she ran away.

He takes a few steps forward, contemplating the forest.

After a few minutes, several people of the Elf race appear.

From what they wear, they seem to be soldiers.

They address the girl, "Is this the person, Princess?"

Gray is surprised, "Princess?"

"Surrender yourself, human!"

"Surrender? Why? I haven't done anything!"

They grab me, and I'm terrified! Then I scream, saying:

"What's happening?"

The princess looks at me with disdain, "Hmph!"

"Great! I've been ignored now!"

They throw me into a cart pulled by a horse and mount their own horses.

We reach a large gate, the entrance to the city.

The Elf city is unbelievably beautiful!

"Everyone looks towards the cart and murmurs:

"Did you hear? They found a human in the sacred forest!"

"What? Even we, the Elves, are forbidden from entering! Only the royal family and those with the Queen's permission are allowed to enter. How did a lowly human dare to set foot in it?"

"But we're not sure if he's human. They've been extinct for a long time!"

"It seems they're heading to the prison of hell!"

I pity the human! That place is hell itself!! It's full of monsters!"

The cart reaches a large gate adorned with ancient red inscriptions.

They take me out of the cart.

They open the gate, then release my restraints and throw me in without saying a word.

I sit there, lost in deep thought.

Suddenly, I jump and scream:

"Whoa... I've been captured, my dignity is gone!! I'm a minor, where are my human rights!"

I bang on the door with my fist. A voice comes from inside the cell, saying:

"Quiet down a bit, you troublemaker! Hmph... you're always noisy, as usual, young one!"

I turn right and left, but I don't see anyone.

"Who are you?"

"Oh, shut up. Let me explain your situation since I don't have much time left to argue with you, you rascal!

The necklace has been activated, and you've been sent to the world of the Elves. You accidentally ended up in the sacred forest, and now you're imprisoned. Your situation is hopeless, hahaha."

"Oh, you old man!"

"Fine, fine... the necklace is the key to time and space, and there are three other keys: the earring, the ring, and the bracelet. The necklace you have is the fourth key.

There are also locks, which are the opposite of the keys. If the lock and the key meet in one world, a spatial distortion will occur, and only one of you will save the world from that distortion. This will happen by killing the other and taking their key before they kill you and take your key.

It means you, the keys, will face the locks! The problem is that you're weak, so there are some techniques I'll pass on to you:

- Dagger Style

- Future Sight

- Extreme Speed

- Transformation Skill

To acquire the Transformation Skill, you must bond with a Mana Beast, but there is no Mana Beast in the world of the Elves.

Put some of your blood on the necklace!"

"Why?"

"Just shut up and do what I tell you!"

"Fine, fine!"

Gray bites his finger and puts some of his blood on the necklace.

The necklace shines with a blue light and sparks like lightning.

"It seems you have the Lightning attribute!"

"Wow! Will I become like Killua or maybe like Laxus?"

"Shut up!"

"Hehehe"

He scratches his head.

"You will gain more skills in every world you visit. With your physical strength and the amount of Mana you possess, you can only acquire:

- Dagger Style, Level 2

- Future Sight, Level 1

So, train on them as fast as you can!

And you won't be able to travel to another world until the necklace is charged with Mana."

To be continued...
