27 My Turn

"Grandmaster Sun Yi?!"

All of them were shocked to stupor and were about to ask whether he was joking when steps echoed from behind.

Turning their heads, several of them instantly began to panic.

The person who had come over was a youngster about the same age as Min Hong; however, he was donning yellow robes and a headgear sewn out of animal hides and feathered decorations. Furthermore, he wore a necklace that was adorned with seven fangs from an unknown beast.

"Greetings Seventh Bearer."

Everyone hastily knelt when they saw him arrive, touching their foreheads before bringing it over their hearts; even Long Feng, though unwilling, still knelt; however he didn't follow up with the final gesture.

The name given to the heirs of the tribe leader were; bearers, along with their number in the list of heirs. It was customary this way as it was thought that tribe heirs were all bearers of divine legacies.

This youngster's name however, was Chu Wang. He was the seventh son of the Desert Flame Tribe's current leader, and also the last of his descendants.

The rumors were that by the time he was born, Chieftain Chu Teng had already entered seclusion; even now, he had yet to exit that seclusion and Chu Wang had never actually met his father.

Min Hong had heard quite a bit about Chu Wang. He knew that he was the son of the Western Chamber's Lioness and was spoiled rotten. He was extremely domineering and unreasonable, and other than the First Bearer, there was supposedly no one that he feared.

No one could guess as to why he had come here today. However, when Min Hong saw Shen Li by his side, he immediately knew that it was another attack on him.

According to tribal etiquette, all family heirs had to kneel when seeing the bearers. Fatty Yu, Long Feng, and all the others were all kneeling. Unless they broke through to the Blood Condensing realm, there was no way to avoid this.

Min Hong frowned. Some random relative wished to force him to kneel? Other than his mother and father, any one else who could force Min Hong to kneel had yet to be born.

Chu Wang indifferently looked over everyone, but his expression immediately darkened when he saw Min Hong sitting there acting all dignified and grand.

"How bold Min Hong. The sheventh bearer ish here yet you acshually refushe to follow etiquette and kneel. Are you trying to rebel?"

Shen Li and the others surrounding the seventh bearer had never expected Min Hong to act like this and actually so boldly and openly refuse to kneel to the seventh bearer.

Meng Hao, who had previously already taken a blow from Min Hong, celebrated the latter's misfortune in his heart when he saw this. He was the first to shout out against him in order to give Min Hong a bad name.

The others were all extremely startled by Min Hong's actions, especially Fatty Yu and the gang, prompting them to start sweating bullets.

Battles between heirs were small things, but if you committed an offense against the seventh bearer, then you were most assuredly deader than dead. Min Hong's actions were indeed extremely rebellious!

Seeing this, Shen Li couldn't help but swell in elation. He had a slight friendship with the seventh bearer; every now and then, he would accompany the little idiot for food or amusement.

A sudden thought had dawned on him this morning to bring the seventh bearer and see if he could suppress Min Hong.

Ever since Min Hong had defeated Mu Cheng, his fame had soared within the tribe; whilst he and the others had take a slap to the face; after all, they had placed practically all their money on Mu Cheng's victory, and thus, lost them all.

Their group usually spent all their time indulging in drinking and pleasure; now that they had lost all their money, those days were now long gone. He hadn't expected that the current situation would actually turn out better than he had planned.

Now, there was no need for him to instigate anything; Min Hong himself had already provoked the seventh bearer's fury.

Hearing Meng Hao's angry roar that was supposed to incite the seventh bearer's ire, Min Hong couldn't help but grin mischievously; with a fake concerned voice, he suddenly asked:

"Meng Hao, how did Mu Cheng taste? Seeing how healthy and plump you are, I think its safe to say his 'egg' nourished you pretty well."

Hearing this, Meng Hao's expression instantly warped; his expression sunk as his stomach repeatedly heaved violently.

What had happened then had left behind a grossly strong aftertaste; now, whenever he ate, he would always think back to what occurred that day, and soon after, throw everything back up.

He was basically been unable to eat anything due to that memory; in fact, he had quite obviously lost a lot of weight, so Min Hong's words were obviously sarcastic and specially fashioned to insult him.

Despite turning red from rage, Meng Hao didn't dare to say even a single thing. He was already doing his possible best to control his heaving, and he was afraid that if he opened his mouth, all hell might break loose.

"Min Hong, a tiny heir like you without an official rank or achievements dares to not kneel when seeing this bearer?" The seventh bearer furiously growled in demand.

The seventh bearer was naturally overbearing and spoiled; even his fellow bearers preferred not to provoke him or incite his ire. He was simply too temperamental and didn't know how to unable to hold back his rage; especially when such a trash heir was so rude to him.

Looking back at this youngster whose baby features had yet to recede, Min Hong didn't want to waste his breath on him, so he casually replied:

"You're just a child so I won't bother with you. Scram back to wherever you came scurried out of."

"What?!"

Several gasps ricocheted off the walls of the hall as everyone's expressions changed.

Did Min Hong just request his own death?

It was one thing if he hadn't knelt; then the normal punishment was at most getting locked up for a few days. But now that he had gone and said such an insulting thing, it was most assuredly the death penalty!

Had Min Hong gone senile?!

"You…! You're asking for death! Arrest him for me!" The seventh prince angrily ordered the people around him.

These people were naturally all Shen Li's lackeys, and they all celebrated when they heard the seventh bearer's orders.

With such an opportunity to ingratiate themselves to the seventh bearer, they all bolted towards Min Hong with reckless abandon.

They might have some misgivings during normal times; after all, this was the literature hall, but since it was the seventh bearer's orders, the worst that could happen was to get banned from the library for a month or two; with regards to the context, it was nothing more than a slap on the wrist.

With such a strong supporter, even if they scattered the entire hall and kill Min Hong on the spot, there nothing to be afraid of.

Seeing them rush over, Min Hong kicked the table in front of him, from his seated position.

The table was made from a thousand years old mangrove wood and was as heavy as iron. Despite its weight however, it was shockingly sent flying towards the incoming group.

Being at the fore front, Shen Li was obviously the first to deal with the assault; thus, with a deep bellow, his aura surged as he threw a vicious punch at the table with all his might.

Boom!

Wooden splinters scattered everywhere as the table instantly shattered beneath Shen Li's strength; he was definitely worthy of being a strong person with a 7 Star Skin Refining Stage strength. His power would definitely shock ordinary people.

Noticing that Shen Li's momentum had reduced, Meng Hao suddenly zipped past the group as he arrived before Min Hong in an instant.

Seeing the toothless idiot furiously bear down on him, Min Hong's mischievous grin widened into a smile as he simply punched out from his seated position.

Min Hong's fist shot through the air at inconceivable speed; eluding everyone within the hall as it connected with Meng Hao's jaw.

The sound of strong muscles landing on fragile bones echoed through the hall as Meng Hao's visage drew a graceful arc through the air. However, what stunned everyone was that he had left four canines in his wake.

His body smashed into a wall as he passed out with his jaws slacked open. From every point of view, all they could see were premolars and molars sitting within a bloodied mouth.

Shen Li decreased his advance further when he saw Meng Hao arc through the air. Though the latter was weaker than him, for him to be dispatched so easily and casually, he realized he needed a few seconds to further access some things.

However, upon realizing that everyone was looking, Shen Li had to grit his teeth and follow through to save face; thus, with another growl, the aura of a 7 Star Skin Refining expert billowed out of his body.

"Demon Suppressing Fist!"

Sending the fist ahead, the air whined and whistled before a faint light covered his fist. Leaning mid-stride, Shen Li further added the momentum of his advance behind his fist, fueling his attack with even more force.

This Demon Suppressing Fist was Shen Li's finishing move, and he had practiced and honed it over and over again, for a very long time. Contained within that attack of his was the weight of half a ton being hurled at one with breakneck speed.

Seeing the latter come at him with his martial skill, Min Hong remained seated; then without any fear or hesitation, he welcomed the fist with a palm strike of his own.

Smack!

The onlookers were stunned silly when they saw Shen Li's unstoppable fist casually get swatted to the side by Min Hong.

Boom!

Waves of violent energy rippled through the entire hall, buffeting the onlookers and snapping them out of their daze.

"H-how is this possible?" Shen Li stuttered in shock; he was the most startled one here.

It felt as if his fist had been smacked by a divine bat, and it caused his stomach to sink in apprehension. However, Min Hong definitely wasn't going to give him a chance to dwell on the matter, as his voice coldly floated over:

"It's my turn now Shen Li!"

Shen Li's brain stopped for a moment as his entire body mysteriously grew numb. He felt as if he had been spotted by a prowling savage beast.

He swiftly tried to retreat, but would Min Hong allow him to come and go as he wished.

Min Hong grabbed the swatted fist tightly, pinning Shen Li to the spot. Despite all of his struggles, Shen Li simply seemed like a three year old looking to sway an adult bull; Min Hong didn't even budge in the slightest, shocking him to the core.

Just what was this power?!

He is a monster in human form?!

Shen Li screamed in his mind, not realizing how ridiculous he was sounding.

Min Hong though, was indeed like a beast in human form; he had just utterly suppressed his attacker with but just the strength of his physical body.

Shen Li however, swiftly recovered; after all, his rank amongst his generation wasn't for decoration. He had even followed his father's people to go kill a Magical Beast before, so he was someone who had seen blood and wouldn't normally panic in the face of danger.

Seeing that he was unable to escape from Min Hong's grasp, he raised his leg and kicked out at the latter's groin area, trying to give him a taste of his own medicine. It was an extremely vicious attack, but Min Hong seemed to have seen it coming from three seconds ago.

With his overbearing spirit sense, he could easily catch onto the slightest changes in his surroundings without even trying; the softest breath, the slightest twitch of a muscle, or even the slightest shift in wind direction.

With a single palm, and without even looking down at the kick, Min Hong swatted it to the side. Then with a deep bellow, he lifted Shen Li high into the air, and beneath everyone's appalled gazes, he smacked him right into the obsidian tiled floor.

BANG!

Chunks of obsidian shards flew everywhere, followed by the spine-tingling sound of bones breaking and cracking.

Everyone cringed violently when they saw Shen Li spew out three mouthfuls of blood, as well as a portion of his tongue.
