LIU KANG VS SHANG TSUNG

A portal appears in the middle of the arena, catching everyone's attention. Shang Tsung smiles, expecting Goro to walk out, victorious over Liu Kang, But as the monk comes out instead, he gets angry.

"Alright! I knew he could pull it off. Let's go get some drinks to celebrate." Johnny says.

"It's not over yet." Liu Kang tells him.

The Monk then turns to Shang Tsung, with a determined look on his face.

"Only one fight remains, sorcerer. Face me, in Mortal Kombat."

Shang Tsung slowly gets up from his throne and walks to face Liu Kang. The two start to circle each other, never taking their eyes off one another. An evil grin then appears on Shang Tsung's face.

"I must admit, I am impressed. You have great spirit, and even greater skill. It would be a shame to lose a warrior of your caliber. Yield, and Shao Kahn will grant you mercy. You can come to Outworld, live as a king, experience every pleasure you could possibly imagine."

Liu Kang looks over at Katana for a moment then quickly looks back at Shang Tsung.

"Is that how Shao Kahn got you to betray your world? I am not as weak as you, Shang Tsung."

"Damn, son." Johnny says in the background.

Shang Tsung let's out a sigh of disappointment.

"Then you shall die."

The two take a fighting stance, scooting closer together. Neither of them move an inch, waiting for the other to make a move as everyone else watches in anticipation. Shang Tsung then quickly slaps Liu Kangs arm away and goes for a back fist to the head. Liu Kang quickly counters by pairing and stops the punch from coming through. Shang Tsung then goes for another strike on the otherside, with Liu Kang quickly stopping it with his right.

The sorcerer then goes for a palm strike and a back fist, with the monk blocking, but also getting pushed back. Liu Kang shakes his wrists a bit as Shang Tsung smiles.

"I can barely keep up with them." Kung Lao says.

"These guys are on a whole other level." Sonya says.

The two come back together, taking a fighting stance again, waiting for the next attack. Shang Tsung quickly throws an elbow strike, but Liu Kang blocks it. He then goes for a low punch, causing Liu Kang to back up and block with both hands. After that, Shang Tsung goes for a low kick and Liu Kang backs up again and blocks it, as the two back away again.

Shang Tsung then takes another fighting stance, this time holding out his arm. He signals to Liu Kang with a sinister smile, almost daring him to grab his arm. Liu Kang gets into a fighting stance and stares at his arm, thinking to himself. Liu Kang quickly grabs his arm, But Shang Tsung comes over the top with an elbow strike, freeing his arm. Shang Tsung then goes for strike to the groin, but Liu Kang takes a step back and blocks it.

The sorcerer baits Liu Kang in again, sticking out his leg. Liu Kang goes for a round house to the knee, but Shang Tsung lifts up his leg to avoid it. As soon as he puts his leg down, Shang Tsung goes for a high round house kick that Liu Kang ducks all the way under and dodges a high hook kick. He then goes for a wide round house kick, but Shang Tsung ducks down and sweeps his legs out from under him, knocking him to the ground.

As Liu Kang is on the ground, Shang Tsung goes for a stomp on his head. Liu Kang flips out of the way and his foot goes through the floor. Shang Tsung goes for a front kick and two punches, with Liu Kang blocking and dodging. The monk counters with a straight right, but Shang Tsung dodges and goes for a punch, but Liu Kang blocks and catches his arm. Liu Kang goes for a reverse elbow, causing Shang Tsung to block with his free hand.

Shang Tsung gets his arm free and goes for an elbow strike. Liu Kang blocks it with his forearm, sending a powerful shockwave out. Now frustrated, Shang Tsung goes for a kick to the leg, but Liu Kang lifts his leg up and lands a spinning side kick into his ribs. The sorcerer stumbles back, clutching his side as everyone from Earth Realm cheers.

Liu Kang follows him in and goes for a combination of punches, but Shang Tsung blocks, using one arm and hits him in the face with a back fist. As Liu stumbles back, he quickly doges a punch and ducks a backhand chop. Liu Kang goes for a wide swing, but Shang ducks and punches Liu Kang in the gut. The sorcerer then goes for a punch of his, but the monk quickly ducks under and spins.

Shang Tsung goes for a high kick, but Liu Kang blocks it and goes for his spinning crescent kick. Shang Tsung ducks it, but right after that kick, Liu Kang punches him in the face, drawing blood. The monk then lands a roundhouse kick to the gut, a reverse oblique kick on the back of the knee, and a high round house kick to the face. As Shang Tsung is disoriented, Liu Kang jumps into the air and lands a spinning hook kick, knocking him across the floor.

Shang Tsung gets to his knees and spits out blood as Liu Kang runs at him. An angry sorcerer then gets to his feet and puts his fist to his chest and stomach. He sends a shockwave through Liu Kangs body, causing blood gush out and sends him flying through a wall. Everyone looks on in shock, even Raiden.
