JOHNNY CAGE VS BARAKA

As the earth realm fighters walk into Shang Tsungs temple, they see warriors from out world. They slowly walk to the front and sees Shang Tsung, an elder man, sitting on his throne. The fighters line up and face the sorcerer.

"Psss, hey who's the old guy?" Johnny asks Liu Kang.

"That is Shang Tsung. A powerful sorcerer who follows the emperor Shao Khan." Liu Kang replies.

"So that's Shang Tsung huh?" Sonya says.

"You've heard of him, Sonya Blade?" Raiden asks.

"Yeah, but I just thought he was a ghost story."

"I assure you, every story you've heard has probably been watered down." Liu Kang tells her.

Shang Tsung then begins to speak.

"Welcome to Mortal Kombat. I am Shang Tsung, loyal follower of Shao Kahn. Powerful sorcerer of outworld. This tournament will decide the future of the two realms. Outworld has won nine tournaments already, if earth realm loses here, Shao Kahn will be allowed to roam freely as he chooses. If you win all of your fights, you will move on to my champion. Get past him, you'll face the final challenge. Me."

Johnny laughs out loud.

"That old man is the final challenge? Ha!"

He then feels a tap on his shoulder. Johnny turns around and sees Shang Tsung behind him.

"What the hell? How did you-"

"Looks can be deceiving, Mr. Cage."

After Liu Kang and Shang Tsung have a brief stare down, He floats back to his throne, using a mysterious green energy.

"The first fight will be, Johnny Cage!"

Johnny winks at Sonya and steps up, with a smirk on his face.

"Versus the tarkatan, Baraka!"

A man shaped beast with razor sharp teeth jumps into the arena.

"Woah, nice makeup. Who's your artist?"

Baraka pops two blades out of his arms.

"Awesome blades."

"They will tear into your flesh!"

Baraka charges at Johnny, slashing his shirt and chest. Johnny stumbles back in shock to what just happened.

"Ah, this is a custom suit, you dick."

Baraka runs at him again but this time Johnny dodges, kicking him in the face. Baraka flips in the air and lands on his feet, then runs at Johnny again. He tries to bite through Johnny, but the actor doges to the side but gets cut on the cheek. Angered that someone marked his face, he punches Baraka in the face.

Baraka goes for a punch of his own, but Johnny catches it and throws him across the arena. When Baraka lands on his feet, Johnny knocks him out with a big kick. Johnny takes a few breaths after the fight.

"Well... that happened." Johnny says.

"Excellent, Johnny Cage. Now... Finish him!" Shang Tsung says with an evil grin.

Johnny Cage looks confused for a moment.

"Finish him?" Johnny asks.

"Kill him!" Shang Tsung demands.

Everyone stares at Johnny, waiting for his decision. Johnny looks down at his opponent, then at Raiden and the others.

"Woah, wait a minute. I'm not here to actually kill anyone."

Shang Tsung looks at him in disappointment.

"Very well. That will be all for today, we will continue at dawn."

As two people carry Baraka away, everyone else walks away. Johnny slowly walks over to his group.

"Guys, call me crazy. But I have a feeling that all of this is real." He tells them.

Liu Kang then puts his hand on Johnny's shoulder.

"That's because it is." Liu Kang replies.

"What?" Johnny says, shocked.

"You were the only one who thought this stuff was fake, Cage. Dumbass." Sonya says, folding her arms.

"Well why didn't anyone tell me?! I was almost turned into a freakin shish kabob."

"It was something that you had to learn on your own, Johnny Cage." Raiden tells him, using his lightning to heal Johnny's injuries.

"Cool trick. So you're an actual God?"

"Indeed, I am."

"That's great, you can win this tournament no problem, bam! The earth is saved."

"I'm afraid, if not properly challenged, I can not interfere in the tournament. It is up to you three to save earth realm."

"And we will, Lord Raiden." Liu Kang tells him.

"Yeah... of course we will. Excuse me while I go fire my agent." Johnny says, pulling out his phone.

Later at night, Liu Kang, Johnny, and Sonya sit in their room.

"So you're an actual monk?" Johnny asks Liu Kang.

"Yes." Liu Kang replies.

"And you're actually military?" Johnny asks Sonya.

"Special forces."

"Wow...Am I the only normal guy on this island?"

"Trust me, movie star, you're very far from normal." Sonya sarcastically says.

Liu Kang notices that Sonya is getting ready to leave.

"Going somewhere, Ms. Blade?" Liu Kang asks.

"My partner is somewhere on this island. I need to find him." Sonya replies.

"You know beautiful, I would be happy to help you out on this mission. Along with, other things that you might need help with... hint, hint." Johnny suggests, holding her hand.

Sonya kicks Johnny between his legs, causing him to drop to the ground.

"He is right though. We can assist you, Sonya. About finding your friend at least." Liu Kang says.

"Thanks, but I'm doing this on my own."

"Is that wise?"

"I'll let you know when I get back."

Sonya jumps out of the window, as Liu Kang thinks to himself. Sonya wanders around the island, keeping an eye out for anything suspicious. She quickly ducks down when she sees Kano talking with Shang Tsung and Quan Chi, the other outworld sorcerer. The two disappear, leaving Kano alone. Sonya then shows herself.

"Kano!" She yells outloud.

Kano smirks at Sonya.

"Well, hello luv. Long time no see."

"Where's Jax?!"

"Don't worry about him. You have your own problems."

After Kano snaps his fingers, multiple black dragon members come out, surrounding Sonya with guns aimed right at her.

"Don't have the balls to fight me on your own?" Sonya yells at Kano.

"Well, I don't want to get my hands dirty. Not yet at anyways."

As the black dragon members are about to shoot Sonya, A fire ball hits the ground, pushing them back. Sonya turns around and sees Liu Kang with a hand full of fire, and Johnny. Johnny turns to Liu Kang in shock.

"You can shoot fire?! Why didn't you mention that before?!"

"You did not ask." Liu Kang answers with a smirk.

"I thought I told you two that I could handle this on my own." Sonya tells them.

"Yeah, you did." Johnny replies.

"So why are you here?"

"Because we ignored you" Liu Kang answers.

Sonya smirks.

"Fine, Don't blame me if you get your assess killed."

"Understood." Liu Kang says as he and Johnny get back to back with Sonya.

"Alright, it's show time!" Johnny yells.

The three of them take a fighting stance, ready for battle.
