Hinata walked out of his bedroom and into the ensuite bathroom, brushed his teeth, had a shower, you get the idea, he went to look at himself in the mirror, hoping beyond hope that maybe he had woken up transmigrated into another body on another world where he wouldn't have to be around these idiots any longer, hopefully, but nope, there he stood, his black hair in shambles, covering an eye as he carelessly blew upwards to move it, ohh then there were his vibrant red eyes, they were so cold that you wouldn't even notice they were red at first, all your attention would be on the coldness radiating off of them.

"Another day waking up and having to deal with these hateful people. gee, wonder why I couldn't wake up as someone else" He ran his hand down his chest, he was fit, he had a few abs, his muscles were well toned, not extremely muscular but he did have an athletic build, his hand stopped over the massive scar the stretched from his collar bone down to his stomach. "can't believe they didn't get in trouble for doing this to me, I can't believe I'm talking to myself like a crazy person"

He went to his closet, pulled out a black, leather and cotton long sleeved and hooded shirt, slim fit trousers of the same material, black boots that stopped halfway up his shin, a pair of black gloves and a leather jacket with his family crest on it. The House of Bloodrose, it was the most prestigious family besides that of the royal family, yet despite his incredible talent in the academy and strong family background he was hated, for his cold personality, weird eyes as well as the drama currently surrounding his family, after his father died and his mother became head of the family, she remarried, to a woman. safe to say this caused a lot of controversies and Hinata was forced to feel the brunt of it.

He stepped into the hallway and instantly was met with the anger filled stares of everyone around him, he wondered if they knew how little he truly cared about their incessant bitching as they started to whisper.

"Ohh look, its the Ice King"

"look at him, he thinks he so superior"

"Be careful, they say one glance at his chilly eyes paralyzes you"

"ughh he's such a bitch"

"The Ice King can hear you," he said with the coldest glare in his eyes that he could muster up as he looked at the group of students.

"l-lets get out of here." one of the students said

"y- yeah" a girl replied and they all scurried away.

Hinata continued on to his next class.

He lined up against the wall with the other students as the two team captains were chosen, Students that were a year ahead of them. Emi Santiago, the girl had tan skin, black hair and brown eyes, average features but put together, she was remarkably beautiful and Elias Hepburn, a handsome young man with blonde hair and blue eyes. all the students were standing upright and excited whereas Hinata was slumped against the wall looking indifferent. this aggravated the young man, he was used to being the center of attention.

"you, leaning against the wall, what's your name?"

"Hinata"

"Well Hinata, explain, why do you look as if you don't give a fuck about this?"

"Because I don't," he said indifferently "quite frankly it's stupid, we all know how this is going to go and besides, no one likes me anyway, even if I was the strongest person in the world, I still would be chosen dead last, might as well get comfortable"

"Or maybe you're chosen last because you have zero talent" the boy scoffed

"I'm not saying I'm the strongest but to say I have zero talent, quite, frankly, just is not true, nor do I need to prove my strength to you or how much I'm hated, you must be new transfers"

This time it was the girl who spoke: "yes we are, how'd you know?"

"Because if you were here since I joined, you'd have known about me, even those that have never met me, don't like me simply because of the peer pressure they face, or haven't you figured it out yet?"

"Figured what out?" the male asked impatiently

One of Hinata's classmates who didn't hate him spoke up before he could dig the hole any deeper

"Surely you've heard of the Ice King since you joined right? that's him right there, not sure why he's so cold but he is"

Emi looked intrigued whereas the boy was now more furious than ever

"I Pick the Ice King" Emi quickly said, Hinata was now curious, he looked up at her if only for a second, unsure of how to respond, he walked to her side, for the first time since meeting him, she noticed something, something rather unique "your eyes, they're red?" she asked curiously

"Took you long enough" he muttered under his breath and never gave her a straight answer, now the teams were chosen, one by one, they battled each other, then Hinata was sent the fight, Elias, still angry from earlier, decided to fight Hinata, himself.

"I hope you're prepared to die," Elias said with a growl "your luck's run out"

"No one is prepared to die, but I will not run from a fight, the real question is, are you prepared to lose?"

"ARROGANCE!" Elias shouted, "WHAT MAKES YOU THINK YOU CAN BEAT ME OF ALL PEOPLE?! I AM THE BEST!"

"I don't know if I can beat you, but to be prepared to lose and still fight a mark of strength, is to be certain you will enjoy the fight, is to know you can still get stronger"

After sensing the hostility The coach set the rules so that the loser is the first person to get knocked on their ass, Elias charged in blindly going for a straight punch to the face however Hinata used Tenchi Nage (the heaven and earth throw that you use on Plebs like this douche to face slap them with a hard dose of reality) knocking him on his ass in 1 second.

After the fights were over Emi walked up to Hinata and smirked "come with me, tonight I have to show you something, meet me outside your room" then she ran off

later that night, Hinata walked to his room and saw Emi right there "should I be concerned as to how you actually managed to get my dorm number?" he asked

"When I see a hot guy, I become the best stalker," she said and kissed him "I'm kidding, and damn Ice king is right, you have a cute girl making a move and you did nothing, really I asked the dean"

"I think, I do need to be concerned now, what the fuck was that about?"

"I wanted to see if you really were an Ice King or not, plus I'm a pervert but that's beside the point, I want to introduce you to someone"

"considering you know what dorm I live at and you just kissed me for no other reason than to test me, I don't really think I should go with you, yet I feel like you're not gonna give me a choice are you?"

"Nope," she said excitedly as she grabbed his hand and dragged him to the park, they sat down and waited for a bit until a young woman floated down from a nearby tree, She had light blonde hair almost white and beautiful bright green eyes (She looks exactly like Cameron MacCloud from gen: Lock cause like that's the best character of the show, don't argue with me I'm a Gen:Lock Fanboy and Shes Waifu despite the show not being an anime, shhh) Hinata and The girl instantly locked eyes "my name is Kiwaseishi Kallinariast"

"Your name, it means 'Born on the borderline of life and death' right?"

"Yeah, I'm surprised you know"

"not that hard to translate actually" for some reason Hinata was opening up to Kiwaseishi

"hmm, your name is long, too long to remember, mind if I nickname you as 'jade'? on account of your extremely bright green eyes?"

"sure" she smiled and sat next to him, it was as if the two of them had this natural attraction to each other that neither could resist"

"I knew it!" Emi said, "Hinata you're adopted aren't you?"

"yeah I am"

"HAHAHA, I KNEW IT!, You must be a Kallanti like Kiwaseishi, A race of people born with special powers, they are born into this world as one of two halves, the other half is their soul mate, the person they are destined to be with"

"I believe you," Hinata said "I just met Jade yet I've never felt closer to anyone else in my life besides my mothers, sister, and father"

Jade smiled when she heard this, there was no mistaking it, the chemistry between the two was energizing

"Kiwaseishi, you're totally coming to the school now, you can stay in Hinata's room I'll just call in some favors, wait, Hinata, your family crest, you're a Bloodrose have your mothers call in a favor"

"sure he said but isn't this moving kinda fast"

"yeah" Emi said "but that's the issue, when the two halves meet, the connection is like if you were a normal couple married for life, and as time passes the connection gets stronger and so do your abilities, its best to move this along as fast as possible, plus if you manage to skip a year group then you can join my team with Kiwaseishi and there are other Kallanti and the school as well"

"Fine" Hinata said "but don't expect me to be nice to anyone just because I'm nice to Jade and maybe you since you introduced me to her"

Jade woke up the next morning smiling as she got ready for her day to begin, she had spoken to the headmaster that same night, now she was waking up in Hinata's dorm and about to get dressed. what would today have in store for her at this new school?
