The Legacy of the cursed Family

The soft crunch of the trees on the ground made her wistful. They were a faded, shredded tapestry of autumn, she thought as she remembered the crisp golden hues and the vibrant oranges that had blanketed the forest floor the last time, she had visited it. Wait, the last time she visited? She suddenly realizes where she was, it was that old bungalow! As she realizes the truth, the beautiful clouds turn into violent storm clouds. The tress dancing with the breeze started shouting and screaming at her. Then she saw someone with shiny silver eyes was staring her from the entrance of the balcony. Salvadora was horrified, she couldn’t move. Suddenly, Rebekah’s silver eyes turned red and blood started to come out of her eyes! But the next thing that happened was even worse, blood started to pool out of Salvadora's eyes too! Her whole face was covered in blood. “Babe, do what’s right, SAVE THE HUMANITY IN YOU!” The next thing that she knew, she hanged herself!

Cliffhangers sure do suck

"Salvadora, I found something. I've been researching about this even my mom told me to stay away and I figured out something. Rebekah is not alone; she's using someone to do her dirty work.

Because she doesn't have the power to move things in our world and I've noticed the changes in that creepy house."

I'm not sure but my guess is that they are Mr. & Mrs.…" "Bloodstone," Salvadora completed her sentence.

"How did you know?" Pomphrey was quite surprised to hear this.

"You think you're the one who's keeping secrets from mom? Well, I didn't mention my mom about this 'cause I got this information just before meeting you.

I didn't know that Rebekah was controlling them but I did know that they weren't acting normalish," Then she told Pomphrey about what Alex saw there and also talked about how Rebekah was messing with her.

Sal was talking to Pomphrey as her aunt for the first time, but she felt like she had known her forever.

She was so caring and calm and understood everything, she was really happy that she met her.

"Salvadora, I think Rebekah has chosen you, and believe me, she's up to no good, Period," Pomphrey was in a quite serious mood now.

"Yeah, I think I should take a break from this stuff, my mind is overfilled with these things."

Salvadora made her way out of the room, but before she could reach the doorknob Pomphrey suddenly grabbed her hand and said, "Wait! I've some important business to do with you, babe" her voice nearly changed.

Earlier it was calm and caring but now it was harsh. Sal was a little confused there.

'Babe?' she got déjà vu as she thought, she had definitely heard it somewhere else before.

"Like what…" before Salvadora could complete, Pomphrey placed her ice-cold hand on her head and said some weirdo words, "Vide memoria mea, et sentire dolorem in eos."

Salvadora passed out in her arms. Then she drove Salvadora to her house and left her lying on the doorstep.

Sam was staring at the mirror for a long time. He still wasn't feeling good about the thing with Sal in the morning.

He knew that he could have been better. Sal was going through many things, while he was literally jumping with excitement and did nothing, but teased her.

He decided to call Adaline. He thought if she was free then they both can go shopping together. He really wanted to do something to make himself better.

But then, he had a change of heart. He decides to text so that it wouldn't be awkward if she says no.

Sam: Hi, u there?

Adaline: hey! I'm available... at least for u

Sam: Okie, do u wanna go to shopping, like now?

Adaline: hmm...I've to think about it

Sam: it's okay if you say no. I'll go alone

Adaline: Dude, I was just teasing you. I'm totally going.

Sam: okay then, meet me at the mall.

Sam felt pretty good now. Though he was still worried about Sal, he tried to have some. He promised himself to apologize when she'll be home.

They both reached the nearby mall with their bicycles.

Adaline wore a black polka dot shirt with skinny jeans, while Sam was in a plain green t-shirt with black shorts.

"So, did you run out of clothes? or you threw all of them just to buy the new ones?" joked Adaline.

"Funny, I just wanted to have some fun. If I like something, then I will surely buy," he said with a smirk on his face.

They both laughed. Both Adaline and Sam needed a break from all this mess, their mind was too tired to think anymore.

They both went inside, they started looking for things they wanted to buy. Not a lot of people were there, they were kind of alone only.

Sam examined a perfume, while Adaline was looking through some dresses.

"Sam, I think I have something to share to you," Adaline said with a sad expression on her face.

Sam didn't feel good at all, he was tired of hearing secrets from everyone. "Actually, I have too," he replied.

Then they both blurted out their story to each other, both of them were spooked by it. Sam came here to run from all this, but instead, he got wrapped up more.

"I really don't know what to say. I'm sorry Sam, I thought that I was the only one with problems. You've got more," she said with remorse.

The mannequins stared at them with blank expressions lifelessly, Sam wondered what they wanted to say.

"I'm sorry for you too. You were in grave danger, I just discovered some things which were already there," he said sadly.

"Thanks, I think we had enough for today, let's go home," she said with a slight smile.

"Yeah," he replied.

They were just going to leave when Sam noticed something really strange in the mirror. He wasn't sure, but he saw a mannequin that wasn't there before.

All of the other mannequins were in line, wearing modern clothes. While the last one was dressed in a black corset dress with gloves, that women wore in the '80s.

"What happened Sam? Why did you stop?" Adaline asked.

"Come here, I'm seeing something really strange," he said and then showed it to Adaline too.

"I don't know, why should we care? Come one, let's go home," Adaline argued.

"I think we should tell somebody about it," Sam insisted.

That strange mannequin stared at them with a blank expression, it was really creepy. At least, that's what Sam felt when he saw it.

"Oh Sam, it's not our responsibility. Just leave it be," Adaline tried to convey him, but Sam was glued to it.

"But..." Sam started but he stopped when he saw something horrible. Adaline saw it too.

"Oh my God! Run!" she shouted.

A lot was happening with all of them at the same time. They were divided and afraid that they might not able to survive.

Their lives were getting endangered by every passing second. They all wanted to know what's next, what will happen if they do that.

But risks are not that. They had to take a dangerous step without knowing the outcome.

You can't know your future. If you do, then it's not your future anymore, Period.

Cliffhangers sure do suck! Even I hate it. But, this story's literally full of them. I love to tease you all by leaving suspense, hope u all enjoy it! :)
