Chapter 2 : Capital Problem

" A traveller?" ask Kuuya

" Yes, is it wrong for me to become a traveller?"

" If so, show your travelling license." said Ritami. She quite a tough one, eh?

" Travelling license? Why do I need a travelling license? "

" You need travelling license in order to enter a kingdom and pass through a border. Without them, you cannot travel from kingdom to kingdom." said Ritami.

" Oh if that the case, I truly don't have travelling license since I only travel inside this kingdom." said Soka.

" Then, show us your identity card." said the general. Look like they won't let me go easily.

" Identity Card? Never had one. I'm the type of person who life with the lifestyle of nomads." Jokes on them, I lived long enough to know how to avoid a lot of unnecessary problem.

" Nomad? They still exist?" General,Kuuya and Ritami formed a circle and start discussing. Why do I feel like something is going to be happening?

General rose his head first followed by Ritami and Kuuya. " We are going to escort you the capital city and make yourself an identity card."

Told ya, they are going to be useful. Not only they will allow me to enter the capital. They will also make me an identity card! This ic( identity card ) will grants me citizenship. Nice!

As soon as we existed the jungle.We continue on our journey to the capital city of a kingdom.

" Yo,Ritami. Can you tell me, which kingdom are we at?"

" We are at the Mkuel Kingdom. One of the Four Kingdom." said Ritami.

Mkuel Kingdom, eh? She mentioned that Mkuel Kingdom is one of the Four Kingdom? Interesting.

The road isn't that different from before. I want to ask her what year is it on the calendar. However, that would raise suspicion. Better act like a normal nomads.

" Is their any adventure guild at the Mkuel Kingdom?"

" Oh why do you ask? Perhaps are you interested?" ask Ritami.

" Yes I'm indeed interested. I saw many adventures before, all of them are really strong."

" Perhaps, if I join the adventure guild or whatever is it I might become stronger."

I know that knight are far superior in terms of power but there is problem with adventures. If they are strong, they are super strong.

" If you join the Knight's Order you could also become stronger." the general came in. I thought that he is the type that like to remain silent.

" I have no interest with knight. All of them seems kinda unfriendly. One time I bumped with a knight, she acts super almighty and ignore my presences. She left like nothing happen. Perhaps, the Knights are indeed lacking morale."

They started to become silent. Oh shiet, look like I triggered them. I didn't mean it, tho. That's the reality.

" Do you know anymore details regarding that knight girl that bumped you?" ask Kuuya.

" Unfortunately, I do not. She covers her body and face with some material stuff."

" How do you know the fact the person who bumped with you, is a girl?" ask Ritami.

" What an easy question! Obviously I checked her chest."

The boy,Kuuya and the general grinned. Maybe they are laughing at Ritami's dumbness or they laughed at Ritami because she got outsmarted.

I started to see a massive wall. Obviously I know that's the capital but I need to act like I never seen a capital city before.

" What the heck is huge thing?"

" It's the city wall. We are getting closer to the capital city." Ritami seems kinda energetic when she answered my question. Maybe she wants to take her revenge. Who knows? I'm not a good girl mood reader.

" The Capital Entrance seems kinda hopping today. What's going on?" Kuuya started to feel curious and anxious. The others followed too.

" Maybe something happen. Quick, we need to fasten our step." said Ritami. She has a great situation observing skill as well as action choice. She really fits to become a leader.

Kuuya, Ritami and the general. Started to run in order to reach their destination faster. To be honest, I really dont like running. It deplete my stamina. Nah, I'm just lazy that's all.

" Well if I want to enter the capital without any problem, I need to catch up with them."

" Drole! What is happening?" shout general. Drole is in charge to guard the capital city's entrance. Therefore, this place is under his control.

" Oh sorry general, I didn't see you there! Andrew! Go meet the general and his underlings. Tell them what is happening to the capital!" Drole gave order to his man.

" Good evening, General."

" Good morning. Can you explain to us what happened to the capital? It look like something chaotic happen." said general.

" I'm sorry in the behave of the capital entrance guards. It seems like we did a grave mistake-"

" Damn it, how the heck do you guys run ridiculously fast?"

" Excuse me, General. Who's that?"

" Don't mind him. He just a random nomad that we coincidencely found in the forest that we were ordered to scout." said General.

" Either way, it look like we somehow let a Fallen entered the capital."

" A Fallen?" The trio is shocked. Yet, I remain calm. Well, it just a fallen. No big deal. (I'm using Fallen that you can find at the anime 'How NOT to summon a demon lord')

" What are we waiting for? Let's move it!" the general guy and his underlings just rush into the city without realizing that they left someone behind.

The Entrance Guard look at me with his pale face. Maybe he is scared to death. The fact that they made a mistake and allowing a Fallen to cause a havoc inside the city.

" Why do you call that old man general?" I need to know. Everyone call him with the title of general. He probably someone important or some shit.

" Oh you wanna know too? His real name is General. He also has the title as 'General' "

" Are you telling me that his rank is general with his name being General? "

" Yeah...he is the general of the knight. His name is General."

What the f, his name is really weird. Oh, by the way weird name remind me of someone. Wait a minute, that you author. Yes you have a weird naming sense.

" Interesting... He really live up with his name."

" True."

Hey, look like the entrance guard isn't that bad either. He is super friendly.

" So... what's your name?" ask the entrance guard

" Soka."

" You see?" said Andrew.

" No no, my real name is really Soka."

" What a weird name."

Shame on you author! I bet that this guy also have a weird name.

" What's your name brother?"

" Andrew."

" Nice to meet you, Andrew." I offer a handshake.

" Nice to meet you too, I see." he replied and accept my handshake.

I sit down since I got pretty tired of walking. Should have used my teleportation or something. Andrew joined me.

" Aren't you supposed to...you know do something?"

" It's alright bud, General and his underlings already get themselves in the trouble. Everything will be okay."

" You are quite a weird guy."

" You also, I see." said Andrew.

" You know, I see. I don't think that General will come back to you after this. He is quite a busy man. This Fallen case will make him kinda busy." said Andrew

" He is really that important?"

" He is, brother. Not to mention, his underlings also important. Bet that they will be busy after this incident." said Andrew.

" I see. That's quite unfortunate."

" Don't worry, If you don't mind. I can bring you around instead." said Andrew. He offered me a help? What a generous man!

" Sure, why not? I don't think someone as important like them have the time to keep themselves busy with me. I had to agree since he is only the one that help me.

" All knights and mages fall back! We will takeover for now." said general. Giving orders.

" It's General!"

" Thanks goodness!"

" Let's retreat for now. Pretty sure General and his underlings can handle the situation." Everyone that were on the battlefield retreated. They do not dare to disobey the General's order

Kuuya and Ritami aren't satisfied with the way people call them. General's underlings? Goddamnit! We are General's Apprentices, our strength aren't that inferior compared to the General himself.

" Kuuya, Ritami. Ready?" they nodded.

" Oh? Finally a worthy opponent!" shout the Fallen with excitement.

General pulled out his sword.

" Emperor Slash!" just like how the spell called. General swing his sword and there are a moving vertical illusion marched to the Fallen.

( If you read a lot of manga/manhua/novel/wuxia/Manhwa and watch anime. You probably get what the heck dose slash mean right?)

" You think your mere slash could do any effect to me?" The Fallen nullify the attack. it made the attack ✨ disappeared ✨. This made the General wonder.

" Joint Attack, Thunderstorm!"

Ritami's affinity is thunder meanwhile Kuuya's affinity is wind. The general affinity...well you guess it.

" What an amazing spell, but it still not enough!" The Fallen again nullify the combo spell.

" I see it. He just merely counter attack with our magic with another stronger magic, he made them invisible just to confuse his enemy." said general.

" I never thought a human could see through my trick." said the fallen.

" Emperor Slash!"

" I told you that ain't enough!"

The slash still connected. This made the fallen surprised.

" Go!"

Three of them charged in knowing magic barely have any effect on him.

" Damn it!"

" Sword Style : Thunder slash!"

" Sword Style : Wind Attack!"

Ritami sent a powerful and impactful blow. On the contrary, Kuuya attack the Fallen endlessly.

The Fallen decided to give Kuuya a good punch. Kuuya is the closest and easiest target. He sent Kuuya flying

" Kuuya!" Ritami retreated.

" Emperor Dash!" the fallen was too focused on Kuuya and Ritami. This open up opportunity to General to find the perfect opportunity to attack while charging his strongest blow.

" Human!!!!!!" The Fallen fell down to the ground. A single fallen able to cause a huge casualties. What a shame.

" If only I was nearby." General pays respect to a dead body that he suddenly encounter on his way to Kuuya and Ritami's side.

" Ritami, is he okay?" ask General. Losing a General's Apprentices would mean the kingdom lose one of it strongest man.

" He just fainted. Probably the impact was too much for him. He could also lose his memory." said Ritami. She is worried. She is afraid about the fact that Kuuya might be gone.

" Don't worry. He is a stubborn one." General tries to comfort Ritami.

" Let him rest. he just lose his consciousness, surely there wouldn't be any internal damage." said General. He knew what Ritami just thought off.

" About the Fallen, shouldn't we do something about it?" ask Ritami.

" Rest assured, The Observer Tower probably seen that the Fallen had been defeated. For now, I think we should retreat to the headquarters."

Ritami nodded. She agreed. There isn't any better thing that they can do. They should wait till Kuuya regain his consciousness.

" The Fallen had been defeated!" The Entrance Guard are relieved. The casualties wasn't that big of a problem. Surely it only take on day to fix everything.

" See? Told ya." said Andrew.

No reply from me. Better I keep my mouth shut.

Andrew stand up. Knowing that he got work to do.

" Meet me at Capital's Entrance tommorow at the afternoon." Andrew now faded away from my sight. Look like I'm alone again. The Guard probably won't let me go in either. There's no need to rush things out.

I wonder what the hell can I do now? Should I remain calm?

Yeah, I should. Now let me sharpen back my skills in the forest. There isn't supposed to be any human judging by what happen to the capital. Pretty sure all scouts, knights and mage had fall back

" The Sacred Spear! Answer my call!" Bom, just like that. The Spear appeared. Oh I forgot to tell you guys that he hid his weapon before? I'm sorry.

" This is the Sacred Spear. It possess a strong power and exposing it will surely bring misfortune to me. I need to do my best not to use this spear."

If I want to do that. I need a spare! Quite lucky that I know where to find one!

" Head my call. The Sacred Wings!"

It has been a long time since I used The Sacred Wings. Without any questions I flew away. Maybe I shouldn't use The Sacred Wings. Well I have done it. Using it once wouldn't bring any harm right?
