(Still Chu Yao POV)

Right as I was contemplating my life, I felt an extremely powerful aura right in front of me. I instantly recognised it, after all, he is the man who gave me refuge in this place.

"Sect Master!" I said, as I stood up from my place.

"Chu Yao, I need you to go and meet my disciple. He is waiting for you at the Alchemy Hall."

"The sect masters disciple? When did you take one in sect master?" I questioned back. When I met him a couple of years ago, he told me he only had a couple of years left in him.

"A couple of months back. Anyways, go and meet him now." He said, as I felt his aura vanish.

Why did the sect master want me to meet his disciple? That didn't really make any sense. Well anyway, I still got up from my place and decided to make my way to the Alchemy Hall, and it didn't even take me long.

At the Nascent Soul realm, it takes a person but a couple of steps to travel hundreds of kilometers, which is how wide the sect is.

As I reached the location, I could immediately tell who was the sect masters disciple, since the Sect Master had his aura around him, protecting him from any sort of attacks.

My first immediate thought was that…I did not approve.

He probably will give up in the first face of difficulty.

Ah, messing with people sure is fun.

I used Identify on Chu Yao again, and this time decided to read in detail since I was bored. I was able to get her background, and know all about her forced marriage and her mother who suddenly disappeared.

Anyways, I decided not to manipulate her.

One thing I realized after gaining control over the sect is, just cultivating is boring. Messing with people, that is how I will enjoy myself.
