I stirred from the slumber.

My body felt refreshed and somber at time. My mind was slow to sober and my thoughts were muddled. It was an experience that brought melancholy. A similar state to how I was before Dragon, how it felt to wake up as human everyday, especially after reading novel all night.

A very enjoyable time.

Now I can't even enjoy my life and have to run for live. Imagine, how easy it would have been to cultivate if your had a phone. You could sit in a dark cave for however hours long without being bored. It would be a cake walk to sit alone fore hundreds of years.

Such good times will never return, I am stuck in an American Dragon on an eastern world.

Thinking of all the things I missed, I stretched my limbs and shook my body. I could feel my muscles relax and my blood flow smoothly, a few of my bones also cracked. I shivered at the end of my stretching session, my body fully loosened up. I shook my head for the last time and looked to the horizon.

I was still at the top, I had slept for real this time.

The sun was low but I don't know which low as it could be early morning or evening. I will have to wait to see what it is.

A yawn escaped my mouth as I placed my butt on the hard ground and scratched my neck.

Mmmm... Where was I?...mmmmmmmmm, ah, yes. My Dragon's breath! I did it! I went pew-pew.

I lowered my gaze to see where my atomic breath had hit. I was expecting at least for few trees to be incinerated, I had used all my Qi to do it, that much was expected. However...what came to my view was a kilometer long chasm with its end connecting to an impact crater. I squinted my eyes, focusing on the crater. The crater was deep and the trees around the crater were fully unrooted.

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.....

I am hungry and my stomach is growling like a beast. It seems my last exercise had left me quite empty. I nearly forgot to eat, my eating cycle have really been a mess. I need to eat and this time I don't need to go hunting as I have a chicken farm myself. But...I need to meet the giant snake again.

What did I do to deserve this? (┬┬﹏┬┬) Why do I grace death every time I take a step out of my home?

I can't do anything about and crying isn't going to help sooth my hunger. I opened my wings and called the winds. I felt the wind wrapping around me snuggled under my wings before I sprint jumped from the edge. I tucked my wings and dived through. The winds brushed my scaled and the adrenaline rushed to my head.

I opened my wings at the last moment and the wind pushed me to the heaven. I flapped my wings to keep myself afloat as I circled around the mountain, watching all those that occupied it. I could see those holy grail rabbits hopping around, I could also see some small snakes and squirrels. Most of these creatures were very weak.

I lowered my altitude as I saw the chickens roam. They had spread out while Roaster watched from the back. I circled them before I landed next to Roaster. My figure attracted many eyes, but not many as I only saw a small amount of chickens.

Did elder snake eat them? Didn't he say he could survive without eating? Did he lie?

I turned to Roaster to ask him where the chickens were, only to see that he was shivering. I turned to the other chickens and some had plopped down, kissing ground as they struggled.

What's happening?

I said as I imagined myself to be in a bubbled of aura or something. I visualized and focused on pulling this aura in and contain it into my body. I shrunk the bubbled until it was sealed within my core. Seeing that I have completed, I looked to the chickens.

But they were still kissing the ground.

I close my eyes and fully focused. I was back in my virtual dantian with my glaring star core. My core pulsed with life and force. I turned to the side and imagined, visualized, my core similar to a light bulb and I was about to flip the switch to turn it off. I visualized a switch, a switch which will turn it off, and a switch made appeared in front of me. I moved my claw and flipped the switch.

My core dimmed as its glared died down.

I think I successfully did it?

I exited the virtual dantian and opened my eyes in the real world. I saw Roaster glaring at me with rage in his eyes while the rest of the chickens moved away from me. They had their eyes on me as they moved back.

Hey! No need to be cautious, that was a mistake.

'Come in, little Dragon,' A heavy presence boomed into my mind.

My body tensed at the voice and I turned my head stiffly to look in the caves direction. 'Yes, Elder snake.' I spoke respectfully.

I gave a side-eye to roaster before walking towards the cave. I took the faintly glowing tunnel to an open area where the massive serpent laid coiled. I bowed slightly as I caught his eyes and stood before him. The green slited eyes gazed at me intensely as to see my soul.

'You have stepped onto the path of cultivation, congratulations,' The serpent hissed.

'Yes, sir,' I agreed, no point lying to the guy about something he already knew.

'I was expecting you to come yesterday, but It is fine that you have visited today,' The serpent spoke as its tongue whipped around.

Okay, I am officially terrified. I need to give a valid answer.

'I... was,' I started.

'No need for you to explain, but I must say that your core is unique,' The serpent narrowed his eyes, it seems to focus on my bright core. 'A burning ball for a core, something I have never seen in my long years.'

'...' I invoke my fifth.

'You don't need to tell me anything," Serpent spoke seeing that I remained silent.

I stood still, not going to move a muscle.

The serpent looked at me as I stood like a statue and hissed before he turned to the side and gestured to the side. I turned and saw that it was a pile of dead chickens. The pile was also covered in a green aura, that I normally saw near trees.

'You can eat those, they died when your formed your core,' The serpent pointed.

The implications was clear. I somehow killed the chicken when I ignited the core. No wonder Roaster looked pissed. I have killed his family.

'Thank you.' I gave a bow before walking to the pile.

Can I store them in inventory?

System then opened the inventory and pulled in all the corpses. The multiple corpse only took one slot as they were considered the same item. Multiple of the same item only took one slot.

After storing the chickens, I turned to Elder snake, but the guy seem frozen.

'Hello,' I waved my hand to see if he would react.

Lijen exited the cave and then it hit him.

I walked next to Roaster who looked away from me.

"I apologize for the death of your family," I apologized.

I am a man with pride but that doesn't mean that I wouldn't apologize for my mistake. I am a honorable Dragon. Owning your mistakes is what makes your respectable. No one like a bitch.

Roaster didn't turn his head but I knew he heard me. I had apologized and I was not expecting to be forgiven. I know that killing ones family can never be forgiven. I walked away knowing I did what I need to.

I took few steps away from Roaster when I felt a weight on my back. I turned my head to see Fluffy sitting on my back. The white-purple chicken just sat on my back as if it own the place.

When did you get on?

I commanded as I shook my body, but Fluffy remained still on my body.

Ahhh, whatever.

I resigned and walked towards the forest.

Today's objective was for me to find some spirit herbs and valuable items that I could exchange in the shop. I already have thing that I need for now, but it is never a waste to hoard points. I could use them when I want and won't need to run around.

Yes, I do have patron but it has nothing there so, If I were to start one how much should I charge?
