75 Chapter 75

I smile a little as the people partying in the guild's temporary base. Because of my win, we secured fourth place on the tournament's first day, just behind the Blue Pegasus Guild. It is not a high place, but high enough after the first stage's abysmal performance.

"Papa! You must teach me that sword technique!"

I snap from my thoughts and see Kunou running toward me after she is done boasting about my fight to the other guild member of the other child in the guild, Asuka Connel, the youngest member of Fairy Tail Guild.

I pat her head and say.

"Sure. I will teach you my sword technique when you are ready."

"Yay~"

And there she goes. Back home, Kunou cannot act this freely. The elder will scold her if she acts too childish and needs to maintain the image of nobility every time she goes out. She can only act as a child of her age when she is in school.

She even declares Asuka as her little sister.

I look to the side and see Asia having a pleasant conversation with Levy McGarden, who teaches her magic theory. Since coming here, Asia has explored the possibility of magic and enjoys every second of it. It looks like because the church forbids her from learning any magic, this is the first time she feels the wonder of magic.

Asia is also starting to come out of her shell little by little. Unlike before, she starts to seek friendship and is willing to start a conversation. She also started to visit Yasaka and my bedroom for the last three days. We did nothing but cuddle, but seeing her open up like that was great.

"Ryan! Drink, my friend! Drink!"

I snap from my thoughts and see Makarov walk toward me, drunk. I can only smile and shake my head.

"I am drinking, master."

"No! It was not how you drink beer! Real men drink like this!"

Makarov walks toward Cana and snatches the barrel of beer she is holding.

"Hey! Give that back!"

And start to chug the entire beer. The others cheer for him while Cana screams in despair as her beer quickly enters Makarov's belly. After he is done with the beer, Makarov looks at me and says.

"See?"

And he fell to the ground, unconscious.

"Yeah. I don't think I will drink my alcohol like that. I want to taste the drink, thank you very much."

The others show their disappointment, but I only smile as Yasaka leans over me.

"Don't listen to them, Ryan. It is good you are not blackout drunk after we are done partying here."

"Don't worry, Yasaka. I'm not listening to them."

"Great! Because I need you to stay awake when we go back."

"Huh? Why? Is there something wrong?"

"Nothing like that."

She puts her finger on my chest and gives me a sultry smile.

"Watching you fighting in the arena makes my body all hot, and I want you to use your power to make me squeal."

I can hear catcalling from the others, and I can only look at her with a serious expression as I can feel my body responding to her seduction.

"I hope you are ready because I will ensure you stay awake all night."

"I am looking forward to it, master."

I shudder a little at her last word.

The tournament is going just like in the canon timeline, except a few things have changed. The first one is that Fairy Tail managed to get first place after the two teams combined after Raven Tail got disqualified from the tournament because of cheating.

The rest of it is happening just like in the canon. Some of the Fairy Tail members get jailed because the king and princess were fooled by some future version of a magician in this world to create a device that can summon dragons from the past into this world.

They decide to continue, and true enough, they open the gate to the past and summon hundreds of dragons across the world. So here, the king, bowing his head at us, begging for us to help him prevent this mess.

"Please! Please! I beg you! I beg you to help this kingdom! We have made a grave mistake, and I will make sure to pay for it. However, to do that, we need to make sure the dragon does not wreak havoc in our country. Will you lend your strength?!"

All the magicians shout in agreement, and they start to work.

"Yasaka, will you use your true form?"

Ryan looks at Yasaka while the two run toward ground zero, where the other Fairy Tail member is holding the dragons from spreading. Without Ryan's information, they would have already flown far away from the Eclipse Gate, the device that summoned dragons from the past and cannot be returned to their era.

Because of this information, Makarov is ready, and with the help of Gildarts, the strongest magician of Fairy Tail, the two of them hold back the dragons that try to fly away and destroy anything in their path. Some of them manage to get away, but the Knights of the kingdom stop them before they get far away.

"Yes. Depends on how many dragons will appear."

Ryan knows that more dragons will come out of the Eclipse Gate, and he wants to stop them before they cause too much damage to the city. As they get close to ground zero, they can see three dragons fighting more than a dozen magicians.

Seeing the dragon, Ryan grins and looks at Yasaka before saying.

"I think I will join the fight first. You want to wait for the other dragons to arrive, right?"

Yasaka nods her head and says.

"Yes. With the one creating this mess still around, we are about to get more dragons from that gate. With how it absorbs mana at a very high speed, I know that it will start summoning more dragons soon."

Ryan nods his head and starts to eat a large amount of wind, and after a few seconds, he is ready. His body starts to change, and he enters his Dragon Sage Mode with his blessing. Not only that, he also takes out his sword.

"Let's do this!"
