1 Chapter 1

I stretch a little and release a lazy sigh. I don't know how I deserve this life, but I'm not complaining. What am I talking about? Well, first things first, this is not my first life. I know it sounds cliche, right? Well, it happened to me.

In this new life, I made a lot of money. Like, a lot. Because of my previous work, I know a lot of big cryptocurrencies and how to get them. Let's just say I manage to buy a lot of Bitcoin before it reaches a dollar (USD) price.

From that alone, I became a millionaire. I have more than twenty thousand bitcoin after investing more than a thousand USD. Getting that money is hard. I was doing side jobs, buying cheap items and selling them at a markup, and even borrowing some of my parents' money. I'm lucky they already see me as a prodigy and trust me with that money. I guess being seen as a prodigy has its uses.

I shake my head, look out the window and smile a little. It is my dream to go to Japan and live in this country. I'm a Weeb and Otaku. If not for my work and busy life, I would spend my time in my room watching anime and reading Japanese news.

I love this country. I know that this country is not perfect, far from it, but I still love it. There is also a problem of what kind of world I get reincarnated into, but as long as I stay low and watch out for some people, I'm good.

I fall to the ground, and my body rolls down the stairs. I cannot even feel the pain as my entire body is too hot to think straight. My vision starts to get blurred as I continue to thrash around on the ground, too much in pain to shout.

Slowly, my body returns to normal, and my vision returns. When my vision returns, I see white smoke coming out of my body. Does my body become so hot that it releases a cloud of smoke?

I shake my head and look at the blue panel in front of me.

I think I will still follow my original plan, stay low and not get the attention of the supernatural people. There is a reason why I choose Kyoto instead of Tokyo. Kyoto is where Youkai rules, and they are relatively peaceful, according to the canon story.

Kuoh town is still in Tokyo, and Tokyo University is not far enough from Kuoh for my taste.

I shake my head and get up from the ground. At least I get something from that experience. That is a very unpleasant experience. I take a deep breath and widen my eyes when I can 'eat' the air that gets inside my nose.

Right! I forget that Sky Dragon Slayer can eat the air around the user. I really need to get used to my new power.
