Chapter 142

|3rd POV|

The people of Riften are screaming in panic at the sight of a massive dragon flying above their city. Their screams get louder when they see the dragon release a torrent of fire at the gate and destroy it in a single blast.

They are now running away from the dragon while trying to hide under a wall, even though they know the wall will not protect them.

The guards quickly leave the barrack and try to kill the dragon. Sadly, their weapon is not working against the dragon above them. As if mocking them, the dragon lands on the wall and lets the guards try to stab and slash him to no avail before chomping one of the guards.

The sound of bones breaking and a short scream from the guard make the others start running. As for the dragon, it starts to laugh at the sight of the mortal running away from him.

He flies to the sky and is ready to release another Fire Breath at the mortal. However, before he can even open his mouth, something appears above him and hits him right in the head.

"Sky Dragon's Dive Kick."

The impact was strong enough to throw his body to the ground and create a massive crater. Ryan jumps to the wall and takes out his helmet.

"Take the others away. I will take care of the dragon."

The woman next to him suddenly says.

"Dragonborn."

He looks at her and says,

"That is me. Go! I will handle this."

The woman and the rest of the guards quickly leave the wall while Ryan kicks the air and arrives in front of the dragon. He takes a deep breath and shouts.

"Krii Lun Aus (Kill Leech Suffer)"

Ryan's shout gets absorbed by the dragon and makes his scales shine for a second. This is a Marked for Death shout that weakens any 'Armor' like dragon scales.

"Hi krilon wah brah un tinvok wah mii?! (You dare to use our language against us?!)"

Ryan grins and says.

"Geh, Aar do Alduin. (Yes, Slave of Alduin)"

The dragon roars and releases a massive torrent of fire.

"Yol Toor Shul!"

Ryan jumps to the left and the sky as the dragon keeps releasing a torrent of fire while aiming at him. When the dragon stops his fire breath, Ryan takes this chance to dash forward with his sword in hand, crackling with lightning.

Thunder Breathing First Form: Thunderclap and Flash

The dragon swings his right arm and meets Ryan's attack head-on. However, when his claw meets Ryan's sword, it cuts through his scale and even through his claws. In his arrogance, he thinks that Ryan is a normal human with massive power.

Sadly, he is fighting against Dragonborn with the power of Sky Dragon Slayer magic in his body. When combined with senjutsu, the attack is even more powerful.

The dragon roars in pain before releasing an attack.

"Ven Gaar Nos (Wind Unleash Strike)"

A massive cyclone appears from underneath Ryan and throws him into the sky. The wind is so powerful it creates a cut around his body. Ryan releases a breath and swings down his sword.

Wind Breathing Fourth Form: Rising Dust Storm

A massive cyclone coming out from the inside of the dark cyclone and destroying the first one. Ryan lands on the ground safely after the cyclone disappears, just to see the dragon fly to the sky once again. 

"Like hell, I will let you go!"

Ryan takes a deep breath and uses a lot of his soul energy to fuel his next shout.

"Joor Zah Frul (Mortal Finite Temporary)"

His shout shakes the ground, and the dragon that flies into the sky starts to shine. A second later, the flying dragon fell to the ground. This is the power of Dragonrend shout. As he falls to the ground, the dragon releases a roar and says.

"Dur Thu'um! (Cursed Shout!)"

Ryan arrives in front of the dragon, takes a deep breath, and roars.

"Sky Dragon's Roar!"

The dragon's body harshly gets pushed to the ground, creating another massive crater. After doing that, Ryan jumps high and shouts.

"Su Grah Dun (Air Battle Grace)"

Ryan activates an Elemental Fury shout to enchant his movement and then thrusts his sword at the head of the dragon.

His sword hits its target, and he can see the dragon start to bleed, but before his sword can pierce more, the dragon uses his left arm to punch Ryan away.

Ryan's body hits the nearby house and creates a hole in it. When he gets up, he can see the dragon open its mouth and release a massive torrent of fire. He quickly dodges to the left and dashes forward.

With his new speed, he appears in front of the dragon before he can even react. Ryan stands in front of the dragon, who swings his arms and tail at him. However, Ryan stands there calmly and greets the dragon's attack with his own attack.

Water Breathing Eleventh Form: Dead Calm

Ryan counters each of the attacks the dragon releases with his own attack and hurts the dragon—each of the dragon attacks results in the dragon getting himself hurt. However, the dragon does not give up and continues to attack Ryan using a physical attack that can rip apart any mortal in this world.

The fight lasts for five minutes before the dragon jumps away, his body full of injuries. He lost seven of his claws and lost a quarter of his teeth from the previous battle. His body is full of injuries and blood coming out of his body.

The dragon opens his mouth and releases a shout.

"Fus Ro Dah!"

Ryan shields his eyes, but the force throws him away. The last thing he sees is the dragon attempting to fly away after the Dragonrend effect has worn off. Ryan uses his Sky Dragon Slayer magic, chakra, and senjutsu to enchant his arm. Not only that, he also feeds Doujigiri Yasutsuna to make it even more deadly.

A couple of seconds later, Ryan throws his sword at the dragon.

The dragon who flies away feels something dangerous coming, and as he turns his head, a massive sword impales his body and makes him fall to the ground.

Ryan runs through the field, and when he gets close to the dragon. He jumps and lands next to his sword. He pulls off his sword and swings his sword at the dragon's neck. His sword creates a massive gash on the dragon's neck, and he hears the dragon roaring in pain while thrashing around.

He jumps away when the dragon tries to use his tail to attack him and swings his sword at the gash on the neck. Ryan finishes the fight with a stab through the wound and cuts through the neck.

The dragon releases one last roar of defiance before finally falling to the ground, dead.

Ryan can see golden energy coming from the dragon and let it get absorbed.

When he is done absorbing the golden energy, he can see the memory of the dragon underneath him.

My name is Agbahdinok or Burn-Wrath-Death in the slave tongue.

I am the destroyer! I am the one who lays waste upon my master's enemy.

How dare they?! They are nothing but slaves! They should be honored!

This word means 'Tear,' a word that lets him tear apart space, a perfect word for his other word like KREH (Bend) to let him teleport from one place to another. When he snaps from his thoughts, he can see a group of soldiers running toward him, and when they get close to him a woman walks forward and says.

"Thank you for helping us, Dragonborn. As a Jarl of the Rift, I thank you from the bottom of my heart."
