Chapter 122

I nod my head and say.

"You are good to go. Make sure to eat more for the next two days, okay?"

"Of course! Thank you, Lord Ryan."

"Think nothing of it. Next!"

The other brings another youkai who is heavily injured and this one has his hand cut off in battle. I first check him and make sure his internal organs are still intact and when I see that his innard is still intact, I take a deep breath and use my Sky Dragon Slayer magic to heal his body first.

A few seconds later, I can see his body regain his color once again. I wipe the sweat from my forehead and look to the side. The healer helper walks toward me with the hand and I attach it back to its original place. I control the Sky Dragon Slayer magic to connect all the nerves and ensure the hand will not fall off after I am done.

After two minutes of concentration, I release a sigh and smile at the man who looks at the healing process in awe.

"You are good to go. Make sure to–"

"Eat more for the next two days."

I chuckle a little and say.

"Sadly for you, you need to eat more for next week. Also, make sure not to use that hand for the next two days to carry anything heavy. That means, no sword swinging, archery, and hard labor for the next two days."

"But I can still use my right hand."

"Yes."

"Great! My wife is with her parents at the moment and I need my right hand to fulfill his duty."

I shake my head and slap his shoulder.

"Get out of here and take your dirty mind with you."

The rabbit youkai laugh and leave the emergency room. I take a deep breath and say.

"Next!"

However, instead of having the helper enter the room with someone else, she entered the room with a tray of food and drink.

"Is that the last one?"

"Yes, Lord Ryan. Lady Yasaka asked me to deliver some food for you to eat."

"I see. Thank you. What about Asia?"

"Lady Kunou already forced her to take a break by dragging her away from the healing tent and leaving the rest to us."

"I see. Do you guys need any help?"

The weasel youkai smiles at me and says,

"Don't worry, my lord. We can handle all of them. All of their injuries are not life-threatening and their limbs are still on their body. We can handle that much."

"I see. If you need help, tell me."

"Of course, my lord."

I walk toward the table where the helper puts the food on the table for me to eat. While she is preparing the food for me, I say.

"How is the Kanto Youkai Faction? Is there any news from Tokyo?"

She shakes her head and says.

"Sadly no, my lord. We have yet to receive any news from Kanto. We should be hearing from them at any moment now."

I nod and take some of the food using the chopstick. However, as I was about to eat them, the door to my office opened, and I saw a wolf youkai painting. He looks at me and says.

"Lord Ryan!"

I put down the food and looked at him.

"What is it?"

"Please come with me! Something bad is happening in Tokyo!"

I get up and say.

"Let's go."

The man took me to the palace where Yasaka and her people were already waiting for me.

"Yasaka, what happened?"

"Distraction."

"What? Can you explain it from the beginning?"

Yasaka ordered her people to create a magic circle and look at me.

"Kidnapping me is not the main reason why this attack is happening."

"Huh?"

"Their main target is the Sealing Stone of Tamamo no Mae. The 'location' of the sealing stone is not the real location of the stone but rather a distraction. We thought that the cult was attacking the Nura Clan to retrieve the fake stone but it was not."

"That attack is a distraction."

"Yes. They know the real location of the sealing stone and attack that place simultaneously as they attack the Nura Clan."

Yasaka nods her head and says.

"Yes. Nurarihyon tries to defend them by going to the real location with only two of his lieutenants, trying to stop the cult from taking the sealing stone."

I release a sigh when I see anger in her face.

"They manage to get the stone, huh?"

"Yes. However, that is not the reason why I call you. Nurarihyon is gravely injured and needs immediate medical attention. We did not know what kind of injury he had received but the healer taking care of him said his internal organs were in very bad shape. They are currently feeding him with as many healing spells as possible to keep him alive. I am sorry to ask this, Ryan. I know that you are tired of healing all the people in the healing room, but we need you to heal him."

I shake my head and say.

"Don't worry about it, Yasaka. I understand. I still have more than half fuel in my reserve at the moment."

"Thank you, dear."

I nod and the two of us walk toward the magic circle. A few seconds after we step into the magic circle, we arrive inside some kind of room. I look around for a second before my eyes land on Rikuo Nura, Nurarihyon's grandson, who looks at me with hope and desperation.

He runs toward me and bows his head.

"Please! Please help my grandpa! He is in pain! Please!"

I pat his head and say.

"Don't worry. We will help him. Take us there and I will help him."

"Thank you! This way."

Yasaka and I leave the basement and continue to follow Riku to the main bedroom where I can see seven healers surrounding Nurarihyon who looks like a corpse. As we get near him, Yasaka says.

"You like shit, old man."

"Ha *cough* I can say the same to you, old vixen. Your fluffy tails get burned."

I get near Nurarihyon and look at the healers.

"Can you guys maintain your healing spell for another two to three minutes?"

They nod their heads and I start diagnosing the cause of his injury. His body is healthy because of the healing spells, but something makes the injury return each time the body heals in a few seconds.

I frowned a little as I moved the curse, but then I stopped when I saw his body worsen. I nod my head and look at Yasaka.

"Yasaka, can you help me move the curse from his body? We need to simultaneously move the curse from his lung to his nose and heal him using a powerful combination of healing spells and Senjutsu."

I take a deep breath, absorbing massive amounts of natural energy and air from around me. A second later, I entered Dragon Sage mode. I look at Yasaka and give her a nod. I put my hand on Nurarihyon's body and when Yasaka moves the curse, I pump as much healing energy into his body to counter the curse that tries to kill him.

I use my Sky Dragon Slayer magic to heal his body and use Senjutsu to heal his soul from the curse. Slowly but surely, Yasaka manages to remove the curse and we can see pitch-black smoke coming out of his nose.

I pump another wave of healing energy into his body and deactivate my sage mode when he is healed. I blink for a second when I see the other healers sitting on the ground, panting. I decide to help them while Yasaka looks at Nurarihyon and says,

"Nuraihyon, can you tell us what happened?"
