The city of Noctis [2]

After hours of travel we finally got off the carriage.

I watched Hans get out of the carriage to approach me.

"Young master, go ahead and take his rooms."

"And where are you staying?"

"In an inn that is a few meters from here."

"It's okay Hans, you can take off the days we will be in Noctis"

Hans looked at me in a surprised manner.

"But young master"

When he was about to continue speaking I interrupted him.

"We will be fine Hans, we are in Noctis, in an allied city there is nothing to worry about"

With some doubt on his face, Hans just said goodbye to go to the place where he would stay.

When I turned to see my sister I realized that she had disappeared.

'How impatient'

Slowly enter the inn.

With some sleep entering my system I went into automatic mode.

I rented two of the mid-range rooms to save some of the money my father had given me.

If I saved these Ents I should be able to acquire what I have wanted since I was a child.

Without much energy to talk to my sister, I handed her her room key and headed to mine.

Upon entering the room I looked around.

It was a large room that was slightly luxurious for an inn.

'well it doesn't matter I'll just get ready for bed'

I went to the attached bathroom that the room had.

I rinsed my face and looked in the mirror.

'Do you dislike the idea of me accompanying you that much?'

'I'm sure I'm not ugly enough to not want me to accompany her'

I looked at my face, my skin was milky white, I had slightly scarlet hair reaching my shoulders.

Although I couldn't tell myself that he was exactly handsome, I would say that he was slightly better than average.

'I should be close to 1.70, right?'

But of course for the nobles that their bloodlines have been continually refining with aura and mana it would only be a somewhat exotic fish.

'Because my sister was the one who brought out all the beauty in the family'

'I'm also the descendant of an archmage and I'm not remotely attractive like my father.'

'Well maybe my father inherited more from him by being his son'

My family was a somewhat recent noble family, thanks to the efforts of my grandfather Caldren was recognized by the crown of Krendrania and as one of his rewards for his exploits he acquired the title of baron and the fief of 6 villages and a town.

'Maybe that's why he spends so much time meeting noble ladies.'

With some hope that being able to enter the first level of aura would refine something about my face, I went to sleep.

The next day I woke up with the sun shining right in my eyes.

I sat down and yawned.

When I got up I stretched to try to reactivate my limbs.

I showered, got dressed and headed to my sister's room.

I knocked on the door a couple of times and it opened.

"How come you're ready?"

I asked hesitantly, remembering that my sister always took forever to get ready.

"That's my line. How come you woke up so early?"

"Do you want to make a fool of me so badly?"
