The Last Tears

Emerald Castle... Jemmy sat lonely with his laptop hosting an online meeting with his staff. When he heard a slight movement, he looked at the bed attentively. "Send someone to protect Marina. She's my sister." Naysa said while still asleep. Jemmy didn't understand whether she was dreaming or meant what she said. When he tried to wake her up, she was still sleeping. But anyway, Wade was send off to Polar hotel. Evening, Naysa opened her eyes and stared into the black shiny eyes. Jemmy was too happy when she woke up. Though the doctor just said she was ok, Jemmy could still not believe his words. "How do you feel?" Jemmy asked. Naysa wanted to sit up but the strong hands held her back. "You'll hurt yourself." "Am fine I can sit ok?" She said but Jemmy didn't let her go. "Naysa there is one thing we have to talk about. The way you do take rush decisions is alarming and that's endangering your life. At least, wherever you go, take the guards with you. For the sake of your protection." Jemmy said. Naysa, with Jemmy's support sat up and looked at him. "I just don't know what came over me. Am sorry." She said, lowering her head like an obedient child to the parents. It was too cute that Jemmy stared at her admiringly. Even at her weakest point, she's still never lost her beauty. "I'll make you something to eat." He said as he stood up and headed to the kitchen. "Hey, some wonders here today!" Adrian started. "He's going to personally cook for her." Another guard said. "Wait, does he even know how to cook?" Stenson couldn't help laughing. In a matter of five minutes, the kitchen looked like a tornado zone. Broken pieces of glasses and plates were all over. Flour was all over the place plus in his face. His whole clothes were covered in flour and other kitchen ingredients. When he came out, Naysa who sat in the living room burst out laughing. Stenson couldn't help it as he took pictures. The other guards went out the couldn't suppress their laughter any longer. "Ooh my God! What were you doing?" Naysa held a mirror close to his face but Jemmy closed his eyes. "Do I look terrible?" He asked in a cute deep voice. "No... Not really. Who said my husband can look terrible? You look cute and funny. You've won a suit to the kitchen? I can't help it." Naysa laughed again. Looking at his suit, Jemmy couldn't help frowning. "What did you prepare for me?" She asked. "I made instant noodles." He said. "And how did you have your whole body covered in flour?" She asked. Jemmy kept quiet. "Can I go to the kitchen and have a look?" "No... Don't go there!" Jemmy stepped forward to stop her. "Can we go together then?" Naysa asked. "If you insist." He replied while leading the way. Naysa followed. The whole kitchen was a mess. The trash can was full of spoilt dumplings, pan cakes and many other goods he tried to prepare. He looked at Naysa innocently. "Ok you did a good job, but you're a pretty bad cook." She said. Jemmy stared at her as if digesting what she just said. "Ok, don't be mad at me for that kind of a comment. Can I be your teacher then?" "Sure." He replied. "But there is a fee to pay. Are you ready?" She asked. "How much is it teacher?" He asked eargerly that Naysa laughed. "It's not about money. It's something else." She said. "Whatever you want, I'll do it for you." Jemmy said. "Good, now take a guess before I tell you."

CHAPTER TWO: CONFRONTATION

After the dinner out, which was paid by Ridden Griffins, the only son of the current mayor George Griffin, Naysa and Marina had come back to the room to find that Livia wasn't back yet, probably she'll spend the night out with her boyfriend. Marina was too tired and she fell of to sleep while Naysa practiced her quitar with the songs she had composed earlier. Her voice was soft and lulling as it rung through the room. It was already dark in the night when she stopped and checked the group chat. Lisa was at it again. They we're exchanging words as they used to. Naysa went through the chats

Lisa: it's not like the class president is a significant post. We all know Naysa got it by luck.

Seth: if she got it by luck, why didn't you have the same luck?

Lisa: who doesn't know am more beautiful than her?

Seth: it's not like you're that beautiful. If not for the heavy make up, you wouldn't be talking. Naysa is naturally beautiful. In fact, we didn't choose beautiful faces, we chose intelligent class president. If we went by looks, we would end up with a class president who is ugly with a face full of make up and an empty head.

Lisa: Seth I'll kill you

Ridden: see one ugly face comparing herself with the face too beautiful like the rising sun. Naysa is too beautiful to be compared to you.

At that point, Naysa paused and smiled. " Ridden, you're Soo sweet." She said flatly, then continued with the chats.

Seth: see who says she'll kill me. ( A laughing emoji)

Ridden: Lisa fuck off!

Naysa switched off the data and called Livia who told her she was in G square and asked her to come. Naysa thought it better to go for her because she was now bored since Marina was asleep. Besides, she really wanted to know what happened between her and Roderick because he would never abandon her at G square without a reason. She walked out.

Naysa walked counting her steps. The moon illuminated her soft face. She was beautiful even in the dark. Suddenly, a shadow blocked her path.

"Excuse me..." She started but raised her face and met Lisa's face. " Lisa... I didn't expect to meet you." She said, tuckinbher hands in the pocket of the hood.

"Are we friends in the first place?" Lisa asked with a sore voice.

" We aren't enemies either. How may I help you?" Naysa asked.

" You think you can help me in the first place class president? You aren't capable." Lisa mocked.

It was true in terms of monetary power, Naysa wasn't in a good position. Since when her father died, uncle Tarran and her mother were trying their best to even keep her in school. Naysa frowned, but then a cute smile appeared on her face.

" Who are you smiling at?" Lisa asked.

" Not you." Naysa replied and Lisa heard slow claps before she could think of anything, Livia's voice rung.

" Lisa Clifford." She said. Now Livia was mad at Lisa not because she stopped Naysa but because Lisa had tried to seduce her boyfriend Roderick. She really waited for a chance to teach her a lesson but the chance never came. Lisa looked at her with venomous eyes.

" You!" She snorted. Livia smiled.

" Hey you two... You left me in the room alone!" Marina ran over. Lisa now wanted to cry. All the girls of room 306 were here. She had planned to humilate Naysa as Vivian recorded the whole event but now it looked like she was the one to be humilated. As the two turned to look at Marina, Lisa sneaked away.

" Livia... How comes you're here? I thought you left with Roderick." Marina stopped right before them.

" Sure, but he later went home. Since their family registered in the upcoming politics, he has been busy. So I just sat in G square, had my meal and decided to check on the internet.' Livia said.

" Any trending news in business?" Marina asked. It was normal for them to show interest in business news since they were doing finance.

"Girls, have you checked the company that has been rated the first in the business market? The Red State Company was rated the first in the business market. I checked other country and found the Starton Company in LA state and the Hatton company in country Y rang the top in the respective countries. Now the shocking information is, all this companies are run by one family, the Grants." Livia said excitedly.

" But the Grants tun K nation. Don't tell me they have roots in LA state and country Y. How influential is it?" Naysa said. It was true the Grants had the power in K nation.

" I think the real roots of the Grants is in LA state though am not sure." Marina said.

" And you know what? The Grants are superior than the Griffins." Livia gave Naysa a meaningful look.
