The Last Tears

Emerald Castle... Jemmy sat lonely with his laptop hosting an online meeting with his staff. When he heard a slight movement, he looked at the bed attentively. "Send someone to protect Marina. She's my sister." Naysa said while still asleep. Jemmy didn't understand whether she was dreaming or meant what she said. When he tried to wake her up, she was still sleeping. But anyway, Wade was send off to Polar hotel. Evening, Naysa opened her eyes and stared into the black shiny eyes. Jemmy was too happy when she woke up. Though the doctor just said she was ok, Jemmy could still not believe his words. "How do you feel?" Jemmy asked. Naysa wanted to sit up but the strong hands held her back. "You'll hurt yourself." "Am fine I can sit ok?" She said but Jemmy didn't let her go. "Naysa there is one thing we have to talk about. The way you do take rush decisions is alarming and that's endangering your life. At least, wherever you go, take the guards with you. For the sake of your protection." Jemmy said. Naysa, with Jemmy's support sat up and looked at him. "I just don't know what came over me. Am sorry." She said, lowering her head like an obedient child to the parents. It was too cute that Jemmy stared at her admiringly. Even at her weakest point, she's still never lost her beauty. "I'll make you something to eat." He said as he stood up and headed to the kitchen. "Hey, some wonders here today!" Adrian started. "He's going to personally cook for her." Another guard said. "Wait, does he even know how to cook?" Stenson couldn't help laughing. In a matter of five minutes, the kitchen looked like a tornado zone. Broken pieces of glasses and plates were all over. Flour was all over the place plus in his face. His whole clothes were covered in flour and other kitchen ingredients. When he came out, Naysa who sat in the living room burst out laughing. Stenson couldn't help it as he took pictures. The other guards went out the couldn't suppress their laughter any longer. "Ooh my God! What were you doing?" Naysa held a mirror close to his face but Jemmy closed his eyes. "Do I look terrible?" He asked in a cute deep voice. "No... Not really. Who said my husband can look terrible? You look cute and funny. You've won a suit to the kitchen? I can't help it." Naysa laughed again. Looking at his suit, Jemmy couldn't help frowning. "What did you prepare for me?" She asked. "I made instant noodles." He said. "And how did you have your whole body covered in flour?" She asked. Jemmy kept quiet. "Can I go to the kitchen and have a look?" "No... Don't go there!" Jemmy stepped forward to stop her. "Can we go together then?" Naysa asked. "If you insist." He replied while leading the way. Naysa followed. The whole kitchen was a mess. The trash can was full of spoilt dumplings, pan cakes and many other goods he tried to prepare. He looked at Naysa innocently. "Ok you did a good job, but you're a pretty bad cook." She said. Jemmy stared at her as if digesting what she just said. "Ok, don't be mad at me for that kind of a comment. Can I be your teacher then?" "Sure." He replied. "But there is a fee to pay. Are you ready?" She asked. "How much is it teacher?" He asked eargerly that Naysa laughed. "It's not about money. It's something else." She said. "Whatever you want, I'll do it for you." Jemmy said. "Good, now take a guess before I tell you."

CHAPTER SIXTY FOUR: THE THREE

"Mmh..." Naysa smiled.

Jemmy carried her to the luxurious sofa in the office and helped her down.

"So, what do you think we should do to Cindy?" Jemmy asked.

"Nothing, let her stay." Naysa shrug. Jemmy was suprised by her decision but whatever she said was his final come what may. He helped her lay down, then straightened her hair with his hand while cleaning her ears. Her head rested on his lap.

"Am sorry about..."

"Shhhhh..." Naysa stopped him.

"Did you know James died?"

"Mmh... I was told. Do you believe I killed him?" Naysa asked.

"No... But even if you did, you were just right."

Then a knock came. Stenson walked in and informed Jemmy that a lady from the Webster was here to see him. Before Jemmy would turn him down, Naysa told Stenson to let her in. Lisa walked in.

"Good evening Mr. Jemmy Grant's..." Lisa greeted in the most seductive voice possible. She clearly saw him with a lady and was shocked in the first place. But who said you can never get a chance after all? She had to try. In fact, she clearly knew he hadn't married yet so to her, this might be one of his mistress.

Naysa had her face hidden in cushion and just after Lisa greeted, Naysa looked up at her. "Hello Lisa?"

"You!" Lisa couldn't believe her eyes. The lady being pampered was none other than her rival in love Naysa. "You bitch why are you here?"

"Mind your language. You'll be chased out of here before you even say what you have to say." Naysa smiled. Lisa looked up at Jemmy who was looking sexily at Naysa's face.

"Mr. Grant..."

"Get lost!" Jemmy said without looking at her. She dared called his woman bitch, and what to discuss business? Who on earth does that?

Anyway, after two cool days, Naysa was feeling fine and she went for Pearl. She later passed by Polar hotel to talk to Marina. Marina was in her office when she was informed two people were out there to meet her. When she allowed them in, it was Naysa, Samara and Pearl.

Samara had become one of their trustworthy friends anyway. She looked stunning and cute. Pearl tagged along. After all he had missed his longtime friend Naysa.

"Today I brought Samara here to meet you. Anyway, uncle Tarran said you haven't been home for a two days now. Where have you been?" Naysa said as they sat down.

"Sometimes when I have to work till late hours, I don't go to bother him up." Marina said. "Samara, how is work?"

"Fine... But since that day when Naysa was kidnapped by the late James Caskey, everyone keeps telling me my friends are a bad luck." Samara said.

"Huh!" Naysa curled her mouth. "Samara don't mind them ok? When we get some nice job you can do, you will obviously be picked. Besides, Marina, I think Samara should move in here and be close to you."

"I'll work on that. Anyway, how is Cindy?"

"We're just ok. Besides, she left today saying she would be back. Am not sure where she went." Naysa said.

EMERALD CASTLE

Four people sat around the dining table. Cindy Scott, George Brooke and his wife Phil Caster who was the former Jemmy's high school lover and the bored Jemmy who looked like the world around him didn't exist.

When Cindy left earlier in the morning, she left Jemmy and Naysa in the castle together. Naysa ahd suggested on visiting her uncle and Marina. The guards went with her and Jemmy had been receiving messages on their every stop.

From the Haven's home which was their first stop, they drove to Spark hotel where she had picked up a lady who they seemed to know each other. The lady was Samara. After which they drove to Polar hotel to meet Marina. Them after a while, they dropped Samara back at Spark hotel and we're now on their way home. He waited eargerly.

"Jemmy, why aren't you eating?" Cindy asked. Jemmy was too concentrated on his phone he did even hear her question.

"I still remember those day when we used to take meals together back in high school Jemmy." Phil Caster said. George gave his wife a warning look, at the same time remembering Jemmy's last words when he had fell in love with Phil.

Back in high school, Jemmy fell in love with the school's beauty Phil. Though she was shorter compared to Naysa, she was still beautiful with small eyes and scarlet hair.

Jemmy later had a transfer to another school leaving Phil behind. Though they were still together, Phil personally didn't trust long distance relationships. She hooked up with George who was also from a wealthy family.

George is a citizen of country LA. His family was among the few first class families in the country. Besides, he was also handsome. Phil loved him immediately after Jemmy got a transfer. Later when Jemmy found out, he had given George his last warning. "Next time we cross paths, I would blow up your whole family."

Today, Cindy had arrived in country LA earlier and drove to Brooke compound, inviting them to K nation to see and meet the cheap lady Jemmy had gotten himself into. George was curious, he wanted to know the lady his rival had chosen.

Phil Caster on the other hand wanted to show off her beauty to that cheap lady Cindy had told them and also tell her about their high school love so she would leave Jemmy for Cindy who was her close friend. Besides, she would later plan to divorce George and go back to Jemmy.

After Phil's statement, George's face paled. He was just here to see the girl, but why was Phil taking about her high school love? The last warning still rung in his mind.

Jemmy looked at them with a calm face, then looked back at his phone.

Naysa had snapped a selfie when she was with her two girls and it had automatically uploaded on Jemmy's phone. So, he wasn't really concerned about the three but was admiring his girl. Another photo was uploaded. It was a selfie taken in the car, Naysa alone with Pearl.

"He's really grown big." Jemmy thought when he zoomed in Pearl's picture.

When Naysa came here after school, she often left Pearl with Uncle Tarran. Though it hasn't been long, it was bigger than when he last saw it.

"Home at last." The message arrived. Jemmy wanted to smile.

Just then, he heard that familiar voice

"Pearl this way." It was her voice. Then she asked about where Jemmy was and whether Cindy was back. A few footsteps, then the door opened.

"Am back..."
