The Last Tears

Emerald Castle... Jemmy sat lonely with his laptop hosting an online meeting with his staff. When he heard a slight movement, he looked at the bed attentively. "Send someone to protect Marina. She's my sister." Naysa said while still asleep. Jemmy didn't understand whether she was dreaming or meant what she said. When he tried to wake her up, she was still sleeping. But anyway, Wade was send off to Polar hotel. Evening, Naysa opened her eyes and stared into the black shiny eyes. Jemmy was too happy when she woke up. Though the doctor just said she was ok, Jemmy could still not believe his words. "How do you feel?" Jemmy asked. Naysa wanted to sit up but the strong hands held her back. "You'll hurt yourself." "Am fine I can sit ok?" She said but Jemmy didn't let her go. "Naysa there is one thing we have to talk about. The way you do take rush decisions is alarming and that's endangering your life. At least, wherever you go, take the guards with you. For the sake of your protection." Jemmy said. Naysa, with Jemmy's support sat up and looked at him. "I just don't know what came over me. Am sorry." She said, lowering her head like an obedient child to the parents. It was too cute that Jemmy stared at her admiringly. Even at her weakest point, she's still never lost her beauty. "I'll make you something to eat." He said as he stood up and headed to the kitchen. "Hey, some wonders here today!" Adrian started. "He's going to personally cook for her." Another guard said. "Wait, does he even know how to cook?" Stenson couldn't help laughing. In a matter of five minutes, the kitchen looked like a tornado zone. Broken pieces of glasses and plates were all over. Flour was all over the place plus in his face. His whole clothes were covered in flour and other kitchen ingredients. When he came out, Naysa who sat in the living room burst out laughing. Stenson couldn't help it as he took pictures. The other guards went out the couldn't suppress their laughter any longer. "Ooh my God! What were you doing?" Naysa held a mirror close to his face but Jemmy closed his eyes. "Do I look terrible?" He asked in a cute deep voice. "No... Not really. Who said my husband can look terrible? You look cute and funny. You've won a suit to the kitchen? I can't help it." Naysa laughed again. Looking at his suit, Jemmy couldn't help frowning. "What did you prepare for me?" She asked. "I made instant noodles." He said. "And how did you have your whole body covered in flour?" She asked. Jemmy kept quiet. "Can I go to the kitchen and have a look?" "No... Don't go there!" Jemmy stepped forward to stop her. "Can we go together then?" Naysa asked. "If you insist." He replied while leading the way. Naysa followed. The whole kitchen was a mess. The trash can was full of spoilt dumplings, pan cakes and many other goods he tried to prepare. He looked at Naysa innocently. "Ok you did a good job, but you're a pretty bad cook." She said. Jemmy stared at her as if digesting what she just said. "Ok, don't be mad at me for that kind of a comment. Can I be your teacher then?" "Sure." He replied. "But there is a fee to pay. Are you ready?" She asked. "How much is it teacher?" He asked eargerly that Naysa laughed. "It's not about money. It's something else." She said. "Whatever you want, I'll do it for you." Jemmy said. "Good, now take a guess before I tell you."

CHAPTER SEVENTY ONE: DISAPPEARED IN THE CROWD

The party was attended by first class family including the president himself and his family. If the Caskeys were still the first class family as back then, they would have been officially invited but everything was different now.

The Deans were here too. Senior Dean was more careful least Dallas talks nonsense.

Ridden sat in the front with his family. He was happy as different people came to greet them respectfully.

When Naysa and Marina walked out of the elevator to the teble at the far end of the room away from the party, he saw them. He was really tempted to stand up and go to them but he couldn't because his parents were here.

Livia sat on the table and welcomed the two with a happy face, though inwardly, she was sad because Roderick wasn't here. He was busy with the preparations of his grand father old man Andrew who died this morning.

But before they would start sipping the drinks, Naysa suddenly stood up, looking into the crowd. Marina was suprised with Naysa's sudden reaction.

"What's wrong? What did you see?" Marina also stood up.

"Probably she's looking at Ridden. He really changed." Livia said.

"I saw someone who looks like my mom." Naysa started walking towards the crowd but Marina held her back.

"What do you mean you mom? Stop hallucinating. Your mother died. Besides, this is a large crowd of wealthy people, how will you find your way?" Marina held her hand but before she knew it, Naysa was free and ran away into the crowd.

"Naysa wait..." Too late her voice didn't even reach Naysa who had disappeared into the crowd. We're it not for Livia holding her back, she would have squeezed herself through.

"She'll be alright." Livia said.

"What do you mean she will be alright? If anything happens to her Jemmy will kill me." Marina lamented. Livia helped her onto the seat and together they drunk with Marina stretching her neck now and then to see if she would locate Naysa.

When the guards walked in to check on their madam boss, Stenson wanted to cry when he was told Naysa disappeared into the crowd. What will Jemmy do to them if anything happened to her? Stenson started his search.

As for Marina, after taking her glass of drink, and dye to fear of Jemmy's actions when he realises Naysa disappeared while they were together, she drunk Naysa's glass. That's when she started feeling hot. She entered the elevator and when it stopped, she staggered in one of the rooms.

Meanwhile, while Naysa was squeezing through the crowd, a figure suddenly blocked her. Looking up, she came face to face with Ridden Griffin.

"Hey... Why are you in a hurry?" Ridden asked.

Naysa smiled awkwardly. How could she explain she was looking for someone who looked like her late mother?

"Umm... Am just..." Naysa stammered.

"Can we have a meal together then?" Ridden asked.

"Actually no. Marina is alone and waiting for me." Naysa said.

"She is safe with Livia." Ridden said. Having no other excuse, Naysa followed Ridden to a lone but we'll decorated table where they were served.

Meanwhile....

A man walked into the room he had booked only to find a beautiful lady with a red face. Marina couldn't recognize herself. Whatever happened, she didn't know. What she knew was, her whole body was burning. A feeling she had never had before.

The man looked at the lay who was trembling and fumbling to get her clothes off wide open. When the tall figure finally regained ground after a moment of shock, the lady had lost sanity and was begging to be fucked.

"Good heavens!" The man sighed slowly. The lights were not on and he also didn't bother to switch them on.

Morning...

Ridden watched the beautiful face on the bed and sighed.

"Mmh! I didn't have any bad intentions, or else, I'd have done something. She's just too beautiful."

Naysa slept peacefully since yesterday after the meal.

Suddenly, her phone beeped, a sound that got her out of sleep immediately. "What happened?" That was her first question."I swear Ridden I'll kill you myself if anything bad happened."

"Nothing happened really. You feel asleep and I helped you here. Besides, I wouldn't have had sex with you without your own permission since I love you. It's not list but love."

The phone stopped ringing but in few seconds, it rung again. The caller was Erin. Naysa quickly picked up the reciever, still remembering she didn't know where Marina was.

"Hello... Naysa, there is trouble. Where are you?" Erin's voice came through.

"What's wrong?" Sitting up abruptly, she asked, her sleepy eyes opening wide. "What's wrong with her? Is she sick?"

"Please hurry to the hotel. We need your help." Erin said and cut off the reciever quickly. Naysa tried calling but no one picked up. She now jumped out of bed and almost rushed out when she remembered she didn't have anyone else to help her out except for Ridden.

"Drive me back to the hotel." She said.

"Why are you in such a hurry?" Ridden frowned.

"Marina is in trouble. Besides, I didn't ask you to bring me here. Hurry up. I need to be going." Naysa almost shouted, attracting the attention of Ridden's parents who came in when they heard her voice.

"You are up. What's wrong?" Mr. George asked.

"Nothing father. Can you leave us alone?" Ridden replied.

"How can you say nothing is wrong?" Mrs. Griffin asked. Naysa grinded her teeth, feeling she was being delayed.

"Can I go now?" Naysa said. When Ridden pretended he didn't hear, Naysa walked out by herself, not minding the mayor and his wife.

At Emerald Castle...

Stenson and the other guards who arrived late into the night had spend the remaining hours out trembling. Too good Jemmy had left with Hank and didn't call. Just as they thought their day would be worse since Jemmy would be back anytime from then, Stenson's phone rung. The caller was Naysa.

"Hello madam... You kept us worried. Where are you?" Stenson asked.

"Meet me at Polar hotel now!" Naysa said and cut off the reciever quickly. Stenson jumped into the car followed by the others who were in no better condition than him either.

"What happened to my sister? Where is she?" Naysa ran into Erin who was hurrying into the elevator.
