The Last Tears

Emerald Castle... Jemmy sat lonely with his laptop hosting an online meeting with his staff. When he heard a slight movement, he looked at the bed attentively. "Send someone to protect Marina. She's my sister." Naysa said while still asleep. Jemmy didn't understand whether she was dreaming or meant what she said. When he tried to wake her up, she was still sleeping. But anyway, Wade was send off to Polar hotel. Evening, Naysa opened her eyes and stared into the black shiny eyes. Jemmy was too happy when she woke up. Though the doctor just said she was ok, Jemmy could still not believe his words. "How do you feel?" Jemmy asked. Naysa wanted to sit up but the strong hands held her back. "You'll hurt yourself." "Am fine I can sit ok?" She said but Jemmy didn't let her go. "Naysa there is one thing we have to talk about. The way you do take rush decisions is alarming and that's endangering your life. At least, wherever you go, take the guards with you. For the sake of your protection." Jemmy said. Naysa, with Jemmy's support sat up and looked at him. "I just don't know what came over me. Am sorry." She said, lowering her head like an obedient child to the parents. It was too cute that Jemmy stared at her admiringly. Even at her weakest point, she's still never lost her beauty. "I'll make you something to eat." He said as he stood up and headed to the kitchen. "Hey, some wonders here today!" Adrian started. "He's going to personally cook for her." Another guard said. "Wait, does he even know how to cook?" Stenson couldn't help laughing. In a matter of five minutes, the kitchen looked like a tornado zone. Broken pieces of glasses and plates were all over. Flour was all over the place plus in his face. His whole clothes were covered in flour and other kitchen ingredients. When he came out, Naysa who sat in the living room burst out laughing. Stenson couldn't help it as he took pictures. The other guards went out the couldn't suppress their laughter any longer. "Ooh my God! What were you doing?" Naysa held a mirror close to his face but Jemmy closed his eyes. "Do I look terrible?" He asked in a cute deep voice. "No... Not really. Who said my husband can look terrible? You look cute and funny. You've won a suit to the kitchen? I can't help it." Naysa laughed again. Looking at his suit, Jemmy couldn't help frowning. "What did you prepare for me?" She asked. "I made instant noodles." He said. "And how did you have your whole body covered in flour?" She asked. Jemmy kept quiet. "Can I go to the kitchen and have a look?" "No... Don't go there!" Jemmy stepped forward to stop her. "Can we go together then?" Naysa asked. "If you insist." He replied while leading the way. Naysa followed. The whole kitchen was a mess. The trash can was full of spoilt dumplings, pan cakes and many other goods he tried to prepare. He looked at Naysa innocently. "Ok you did a good job, but you're a pretty bad cook." She said. Jemmy stared at her as if digesting what she just said. "Ok, don't be mad at me for that kind of a comment. Can I be your teacher then?" "Sure." He replied. "But there is a fee to pay. Are you ready?" She asked. "How much is it teacher?" He asked eargerly that Naysa laughed. "It's not about money. It's something else." She said. "Whatever you want, I'll do it for you." Jemmy said. "Good, now take a guess before I tell you."

CHAPTER NINETEEN: SOFT SAD MUSIC

Jemmy, who was really thinking hard of what to say was surprised when the girl spoke first. So he listened while looking at her face.

"When I was young, I really wanted a pet because those day I was lonely and my sisters wasn't born yet. I wanted a pet dog, but when my father thought of getting me one, it was too late because my sister arrived. So I gave her all my attention. " Her eyes shone as she said, but then dimmed as she finished," but now that she is gone, I feel lonely again and think if I had a pet dog, I'll be with it always. Marina is always with me, but when she goes home, am lonely again."

The elevator stopped and Naysa ran out immediately without looking at the room numbers. Jemmy looked at the girl who was running away and thought, am I that bad that she really wants to get away that badly?

"This way." He said.

Naysa stopped in her tracks and turned back. She was now embarrassed at her own carelessness. Naysa looked at her card and located the room.

"Good night." She finally murmured. It was almost inaudible but Jemmy heard it. Naysa ran into her room and locked the door behind her least the man changes his mind.

"Hummm... Once I'm my boring life."Naysa sighed as she held her hands at akimbo and spun round in the room. The king size bed was well laid. The room was luxurious. She pulled off her shoes and stepped on the soft carpet. She then walked to the window and pushed the curtains aside. She admired the city below her. She took her phone and snapped a selfie, then send it to Marina with the caption.

"Today i send a night in the VIP room.", Then jumped into bed and lay there, waiting to fall asleep.

Jemmy, in the adjacent room opened the curtains and looked out. He wasn't interested in the city below. His mind was occupied with the thoughts of the cute girl in the next room. Stenson rushed in panting.

"Boss, I thought..." He stopped and looked at Jemmy. "Boss why did you take the six flowers?".

"Because she's the one who knocked them down." Jemmy replied.

"This time you tolerate a lady? Soo big a miracle." Stenson said.

"Does it affect you?"

Stenson zipped his mouth and sighed. He placed the camera on the table and looked at his boss. Jemmy didn't ask him to take pictures, but Stenson just came up with the idea on his own.

Morning...

The rays of the rising sun penetrated the curtains and ventilated the room. The calm handsome face of Jemmy bathed in the sun as he slowly opens his eyes. In his ears, a soft lulling voice was heard. He remembered well enough he had for the first time spend a night in a hotel which wasn't the PLY hotel here in K nation or the famous Grant's hotel in country LA. PLY hotel was a hotel under the Grant's management, generally it was the Grant's hotel. He woke up still wrapped in in his robe and walked out. He followed the sound to the next room.

When the sun rays touch the touch the earth surface, everything blossoms,

I see happy faces of people, as the bath in the sun,

Everything around me shine, nature is all beautiful,

But am dull, an sad, am lonely,

With my people gone, am Soo lonely, I miss you,

I miss you sister,I still remember the times we used to spend together,

I miss you dad, I miss the moments when you used to teach me how to hold a gun,

How to shoot at the target,

Mommy I miss you, I missed the last moment of your life,

I wanted to look into your eyes and tell you I love you,

I wanted to promise you I'll be a good girl,

Jemmy slowly opened the door and go in. It was a sad voice and from it, he could guess she must be crying. Naysa had her back facing the door while she looked out at the city with teary eyes. Her fingers moved on the guitar as she sang. She had lost he people and she won't easily forget that.

Jemmy slowly lifted his hand and held her shoulder. Without thinking, Naysa quickly stood up and hugged him, burying her face in his strong chest, feeling the his strong heartbeat. She cried her heart out as Jemmy embraced her warmly. She felt a warmth she had never felt before. This man he just met a few days ago now filled her world. For a moment, she felt like this was the person she needed for her world to be completed. The other empty part in her heart was filled in that short moment when they hugged. She wanted to hold on forever.

Jemmy hugged her close, not wanting to let go. He felt her pain in those few lines of her song. His heart bled when he saw her tears, and as she wet his gown and the tears leaked to his skin, he held close. He wanted to be the reason she's happy. He wanted to see her smile. He wanted her playful and childish side, not this sad Naysa he was hugging.

"Uum..." Naysa wanted to say something.
