The Last Tears

Emerald Castle... Jemmy sat lonely with his laptop hosting an online meeting with his staff. When he heard a slight movement, he looked at the bed attentively. "Send someone to protect Marina. She's my sister." Naysa said while still asleep. Jemmy didn't understand whether she was dreaming or meant what she said. When he tried to wake her up, she was still sleeping. But anyway, Wade was send off to Polar hotel. Evening, Naysa opened her eyes and stared into the black shiny eyes. Jemmy was too happy when she woke up. Though the doctor just said she was ok, Jemmy could still not believe his words. "How do you feel?" Jemmy asked. Naysa wanted to sit up but the strong hands held her back. "You'll hurt yourself." "Am fine I can sit ok?" She said but Jemmy didn't let her go. "Naysa there is one thing we have to talk about. The way you do take rush decisions is alarming and that's endangering your life. At least, wherever you go, take the guards with you. For the sake of your protection." Jemmy said. Naysa, with Jemmy's support sat up and looked at him. "I just don't know what came over me. Am sorry." She said, lowering her head like an obedient child to the parents. It was too cute that Jemmy stared at her admiringly. Even at her weakest point, she's still never lost her beauty. "I'll make you something to eat." He said as he stood up and headed to the kitchen. "Hey, some wonders here today!" Adrian started. "He's going to personally cook for her." Another guard said. "Wait, does he even know how to cook?" Stenson couldn't help laughing. In a matter of five minutes, the kitchen looked like a tornado zone. Broken pieces of glasses and plates were all over. Flour was all over the place plus in his face. His whole clothes were covered in flour and other kitchen ingredients. When he came out, Naysa who sat in the living room burst out laughing. Stenson couldn't help it as he took pictures. The other guards went out the couldn't suppress their laughter any longer. "Ooh my God! What were you doing?" Naysa held a mirror close to his face but Jemmy closed his eyes. "Do I look terrible?" He asked in a cute deep voice. "No... Not really. Who said my husband can look terrible? You look cute and funny. You've won a suit to the kitchen? I can't help it." Naysa laughed again. Looking at his suit, Jemmy couldn't help frowning. "What did you prepare for me?" She asked. "I made instant noodles." He said. "And how did you have your whole body covered in flour?" She asked. Jemmy kept quiet. "Can I go to the kitchen and have a look?" "No... Don't go there!" Jemmy stepped forward to stop her. "Can we go together then?" Naysa asked. "If you insist." He replied while leading the way. Naysa followed. The whole kitchen was a mess. The trash can was full of spoilt dumplings, pan cakes and many other goods he tried to prepare. He looked at Naysa innocently. "Ok you did a good job, but you're a pretty bad cook." She said. Jemmy stared at her as if digesting what she just said. "Ok, don't be mad at me for that kind of a comment. Can I be your teacher then?" "Sure." He replied. "But there is a fee to pay. Are you ready?" She asked. "How much is it teacher?" He asked eargerly that Naysa laughed. "It's not about money. It's something else." She said. "Whatever you want, I'll do it for you." Jemmy said. "Good, now take a guess before I tell you."

CHAPTER FORTY SEVEN: I WANT TO BE YOUR FRIEND

Before Samara could answer, Marina arrived.

"Please don't mind her. " Marina smiled politely.

"No... Please mind me instead, I want to be your friend." Naysa smiled. Marina and Samara we're suprised. Anyway, Samara gave Naysa her number, who knew they would be lifetime friends after the events of this day?

Marina then led Naysa to her room and helped her rest.

The next day, Naysa was still mad at Jemmy. Jemmy didn't explain anything but waited for her to calm down. He decided to tell her the whole story later when she was in her moods. Naysa talked to Samara before she finally left together with Marina and the two brothers.

The final exams were nearing and Naysa had to minimize meeting Jemmy. She aslo tried much to avoid Ridden who got wind of her days at Spark hotel. Roderick came back, though the Caskeys company wasn't doing well. Livia also came back and her relationship with Roderick recieved a blow after the Weyner terminated the contract. Though they didn't break up, one could sense the distance growing between them.

The end of semester exams finally came. After the last paper, Marina and Naysa left together. It would take a month or two before the graduation and they wouldn't want to stay in school for that period. Livia left for home while Roderick went to that Caskeys company, helping with the management work. Naysa and Marina lived at Naysa's apartment. Marina didn't go home because she even never expected more from the Johnsons after her graduation.

"Marina, should I ask Jemmy to offer you a job after graduation? You can't go back to the Johnson to beg for work." Naysa said.

"I know... But I wouldn't want someone to employ me out of sympathy." Marina replied.

"What do you mean out of sympathy? If he loves me, he should be ready to help the people close to me.

"Naysa, stop being funny. What was our mitto back then? Did you forget? If you can work for yourself, don't wait for favors. Am not in for those kind of sympathy." Marina said.

Naysa sighed. She was getting prepared to go to Emerald Castle to see Jemmy. After their talk, Marina went to the Haven's home as Naysa went to Jemmy's home. Marina loved the Haven home more than her home because of her relationship with both Naysa and uncle Tarran.

Naysa didn't call Stenson for a drive there. She has his number, but she took a taxi to the castle. Naysa walked in, walking past the group of guards.

"How have you people been while I was away?" She asked the guards who were now friends with her.

"Madam, where have you been?" Adrian asked. "it's been long.'

"Did you ever look for me?" Naysa asked. "I think, why don't we have some fun?" Naysa asked.

"What do you mean madam?" Frank asked. The guards moved closer.

"I mean..." She snatched a gun from one of the guards who didn't see that coming. "A shooting fun."

"I'd prefer we use empty guns in case someone gets hurt." Frank said.

"Mmh? I know how to aim, but because you suggested that, fine."

Naysa didn't go into the house but led the guards to the backyard where they had a moment aiming at the target. After about thirty minutes, Naysa walked into the carel. She didn't know Jemmy had been standing by the window looking at them. And she also didn't know Cindy was standing by Jemmy's door.

Cindy was surprised when she saw Naysa. Cindy was dressed sexily standing at the door to Jemmy's bedroom door.

Naysa cleared her throat, "Contract wife..." She smiled at Cindy. "How is your husband?"

Cindy simply snorted. Naysa walked past her and walked into the bedroom, a place Cindy had never been. She was enraged seeing Jemmy wrapped in a towel. Her mind just made the obvious conclusion.

"What happened here?" Naysa asked, looking at Jemmy up and down.

"What do you mean?" Jemmy asked. Am just ready for shower.

"What happened between you and Cindy just now?" Naysa couldn't believe nothing happened. Cindy was standing out with a revealing dress while Jemmy was in wrapped in a towel. Naysa stormed out of the bedroom, almost knocking the smiling Cindy off the ground.

Jemmy followed her, only to open the door and feel a hand travel on his body. He frowned as he looked murderously at Cindy. He now could understand why she was mad. He went in and made a call. Stenson came rushing in, passing Cindy as if she didn't exist. He had just had a good time with Naysa on the shooting competition.

"Boss." Stenson tumbled in.

"Prepare a plane and have her taken back to country LA now!" Jemmy gave the command.
