The Last Tears

Emerald Castle... Jemmy sat lonely with his laptop hosting an online meeting with his staff. When he heard a slight movement, he looked at the bed attentively. "Send someone to protect Marina. She's my sister." Naysa said while still asleep. Jemmy didn't understand whether she was dreaming or meant what she said. When he tried to wake her up, she was still sleeping. But anyway, Wade was send off to Polar hotel. Evening, Naysa opened her eyes and stared into the black shiny eyes. Jemmy was too happy when she woke up. Though the doctor just said she was ok, Jemmy could still not believe his words. "How do you feel?" Jemmy asked. Naysa wanted to sit up but the strong hands held her back. "You'll hurt yourself." "Am fine I can sit ok?" She said but Jemmy didn't let her go. "Naysa there is one thing we have to talk about. The way you do take rush decisions is alarming and that's endangering your life. At least, wherever you go, take the guards with you. For the sake of your protection." Jemmy said. Naysa, with Jemmy's support sat up and looked at him. "I just don't know what came over me. Am sorry." She said, lowering her head like an obedient child to the parents. It was too cute that Jemmy stared at her admiringly. Even at her weakest point, she's still never lost her beauty. "I'll make you something to eat." He said as he stood up and headed to the kitchen. "Hey, some wonders here today!" Adrian started. "He's going to personally cook for her." Another guard said. "Wait, does he even know how to cook?" Stenson couldn't help laughing. In a matter of five minutes, the kitchen looked like a tornado zone. Broken pieces of glasses and plates were all over. Flour was all over the place plus in his face. His whole clothes were covered in flour and other kitchen ingredients. When he came out, Naysa who sat in the living room burst out laughing. Stenson couldn't help it as he took pictures. The other guards went out the couldn't suppress their laughter any longer. "Ooh my God! What were you doing?" Naysa held a mirror close to his face but Jemmy closed his eyes. "Do I look terrible?" He asked in a cute deep voice. "No... Not really. Who said my husband can look terrible? You look cute and funny. You've won a suit to the kitchen? I can't help it." Naysa laughed again. Looking at his suit, Jemmy couldn't help frowning. "What did you prepare for me?" She asked. "I made instant noodles." He said. "And how did you have your whole body covered in flour?" She asked. Jemmy kept quiet. "Can I go to the kitchen and have a look?" "No... Don't go there!" Jemmy stepped forward to stop her. "Can we go together then?" Naysa asked. "If you insist." He replied while leading the way. Naysa followed. The whole kitchen was a mess. The trash can was full of spoilt dumplings, pan cakes and many other goods he tried to prepare. He looked at Naysa innocently. "Ok you did a good job, but you're a pretty bad cook." She said. Jemmy stared at her as if digesting what she just said. "Ok, don't be mad at me for that kind of a comment. Can I be your teacher then?" "Sure." He replied. "But there is a fee to pay. Are you ready?" She asked. "How much is it teacher?" He asked eargerly that Naysa laughed. "It's not about money. It's something else." She said. "Whatever you want, I'll do it for you." Jemmy said. "Good, now take a guess before I tell you."

CHAPTER FORTY ONE: AUNTY WEN

Slowly and unsure, Naysa nodded.

"I think I love you." She said slowly. After all this man has seen her nakedness not more than an hour ago. Even after nodding, she still doubted herself.

"We need to go now." Jemmy said softly. Naysa followed him into the elevator, not forgetting her lifetime companion Pearl. Soon, the convoy of cars headed towards the Emerald Castle. When Naysa walked in, the guards looked at her with more respect than before. They couldn't help but respect her after she personally snatched a gun from a well trained guard like Stenson. Cindy looked at her with venomous eyes, especially when she saw Naysa sticking out her tongue playfully to the guards. She seemed to have developed a friendship with them.

"How are you Cindy." This time, she addressed her by name. She didn't seem the fragile girl anymore. Today, she was joyful. What happened?

Jemmy passed by Cindy without even sparing a glance at her. He ordered the maids to come and the maids followed the order, after which they were officially introduced to Naysa as their madam. Though she looked young, they thought her beauty was enough to melt hearts. Earlier, Cindy had forced some of them to call her madam, but now, they knew they owed their respect to this beautiful lady before.

Naysa forced a serious face which was unlike her normal face. "Am looking forward to working together with you people." She said. In the crowd, she noticed a more older woman than the others. She looked more calm and focused than the others.

After a brief talk, the maids went to resume their work. Naysa walked out to the backyard to enjoy the breeze. It was then that Cindy walked clumsily to her.

"Naysa Haven, you want to be my rival in love right?" Cindy asked. Naysa didn't reply and she didn't look at her either. "For your information, my family and the Grants have known each other for years. Here." Cindy threw a piece of paper on her face.

Naysa took the paper and went through. It was a contract marriage between Jemmy and Cindy Scott. Naysa skimmed through it, then folded it and threw it on her feet before slowly standing up.

"Miss Scott..." She started. "I see you're supposed to be Jemmy's legal wife, but your rival is here. Why don't we wait and see who wins this chance?" Naysa said. "You scared me before because I didn't know the truth. But right now... Try another way." Naysa smiled in Cindy's face and walked past into the house.

"You...!" Cindy shouted as she picked up the contract. Jemmy hadn't even thought about it, and she wouldn't use it to scare Naysa either.

Naysa walked into the house and as she was going towards the stairs, the elderly lady stopped her.

"Young miss..." She called.

"Aunty," full of respect, Naysa responded. Though most of the relationship between maids and their madam boss wasn't good in mist cases, Naysa was stilltoo young to hold grudges. Further more, none of the maids has been bad to her. Even if there were, she just wanted to respect this elderly woman.

"Am Aunty Wen. " She said. "You're more calm than Cindy." She smiled politely.

"Thanks aunty Wen. It will be more nice working together." She said.

"Mmh... Young miss, who are you?" She asked.

"Am the only remaining daughter of Mr. Haven." She said.

"Ooh... The military general Haven? Sorry for everything that happened in your life. Mrs. Florence was a good friend of mine and I was saddened by her death." Aunty Wen said sadly shaking her head.

" Thanks aunty... You were mom's friend?" Naysa asked astonished. She never thought she would meet her mother's friend in this lifetime.

"Mmh... Until when I had to get back to my people. Since then we lost contact. When I came back, I was told she died. What a pity you're now an orphan!". She said.

"Aunty at least now I have you. " Naysa smiled politely. It was then that a voice came in.

"Sister in law..." It was none other than Hank.

"I'll be back to work now." Aunty Wen said leaving.

"Aunty we'll talk more." Naysa said before turning to Hank. Right now she felt more confident when called sister in law. Hank walked to her with a torn suit. "What happened to you?" Naysa was surprised.

"Nothing... I had to deal with some idiots. Am ok. Did you greet me?" Hank asked.

"Sorry I didn't." Naysa smiled shyly. Hank walked into his room while this time, Naysa personally walked into Jemmy's room. Jemmy was busy conducting an online meeting with his staff since he didn't go to office. When Naysa entered, he abruptly ended the meeting, leaving the staff suprised.

Jemmy stood up and walked to Naysa whose eyes were quickly exploring the room.

"The rose?" She saw one rose at the table and asked.
