The Last Tears

Emerald Castle... Jemmy sat lonely with his laptop hosting an online meeting with his staff. When he heard a slight movement, he looked at the bed attentively. "Send someone to protect Marina. She's my sister." Naysa said while still asleep. Jemmy didn't understand whether she was dreaming or meant what she said. When he tried to wake her up, she was still sleeping. But anyway, Wade was send off to Polar hotel. Evening, Naysa opened her eyes and stared into the black shiny eyes. Jemmy was too happy when she woke up. Though the doctor just said she was ok, Jemmy could still not believe his words. "How do you feel?" Jemmy asked. Naysa wanted to sit up but the strong hands held her back. "You'll hurt yourself." "Am fine I can sit ok?" She said but Jemmy didn't let her go. "Naysa there is one thing we have to talk about. The way you do take rush decisions is alarming and that's endangering your life. At least, wherever you go, take the guards with you. For the sake of your protection." Jemmy said. Naysa, with Jemmy's support sat up and looked at him. "I just don't know what came over me. Am sorry." She said, lowering her head like an obedient child to the parents. It was too cute that Jemmy stared at her admiringly. Even at her weakest point, she's still never lost her beauty. "I'll make you something to eat." He said as he stood up and headed to the kitchen. "Hey, some wonders here today!" Adrian started. "He's going to personally cook for her." Another guard said. "Wait, does he even know how to cook?" Stenson couldn't help laughing. In a matter of five minutes, the kitchen looked like a tornado zone. Broken pieces of glasses and plates were all over. Flour was all over the place plus in his face. His whole clothes were covered in flour and other kitchen ingredients. When he came out, Naysa who sat in the living room burst out laughing. Stenson couldn't help it as he took pictures. The other guards went out the couldn't suppress their laughter any longer. "Ooh my God! What were you doing?" Naysa held a mirror close to his face but Jemmy closed his eyes. "Do I look terrible?" He asked in a cute deep voice. "No... Not really. Who said my husband can look terrible? You look cute and funny. You've won a suit to the kitchen? I can't help it." Naysa laughed again. Looking at his suit, Jemmy couldn't help frowning. "What did you prepare for me?" She asked. "I made instant noodles." He said. "And how did you have your whole body covered in flour?" She asked. Jemmy kept quiet. "Can I go to the kitchen and have a look?" "No... Don't go there!" Jemmy stepped forward to stop her. "Can we go together then?" Naysa asked. "If you insist." He replied while leading the way. Naysa followed. The whole kitchen was a mess. The trash can was full of spoilt dumplings, pan cakes and many other goods he tried to prepare. He looked at Naysa innocently. "Ok you did a good job, but you're a pretty bad cook." She said. Jemmy stared at her as if digesting what she just said. "Ok, don't be mad at me for that kind of a comment. Can I be your teacher then?" "Sure." He replied. "But there is a fee to pay. Are you ready?" She asked. "How much is it teacher?" He asked eargerly that Naysa laughed. "It's not about money. It's something else." She said. "Whatever you want, I'll do it for you." Jemmy said. "Good, now take a guess before I tell you."

CHAPTER FIFTY TWO: ABDUCTED

"I need to go to the rest rooms." Naysa said, frowning even more as she saw the happy people around her. So everyone was happy except herself.

Marina nodded and Naysa took of the gown. "Hold this for me?"

"What's wrong with you sister?" Marina asked looking at her.

"Am fine. I just... Just hold it." Naysa dropped the gown and left.

Thirty minutes went by and the vice chancellor and already addressed the graduands, but Naysa wasn't back from the restrooms where she went. Marina panicked, looking everywhere and asking everyone. Even Ridden hadn't seen her. She checked all the restrooms and trued calling Naysa's number but no one was picking up. What happened to her?

Meanwhile: SPARK HOTEL

Naysa jumped off the taxi and hurried into the hotel. The first place she hud hugged Jemmy, the first place she had kissed him, and she was here to drink her sorrows out. Funk the whole graduation theories...

Naysa walked in and ordered glasses of wine. Though she wasn't a heavy drinker, today she was in for it.

But someone was observing her curiously. Naysa drunk half the first bottle and her vision was already getting blurred. She kept hitting her head on the table.

"Hey friend... What's wrong with you?" Samara approached her.

"Get me somewhere to rest." Naysa said in a drunk tone. Samara helped her into the elevator and soon they entered a room upstairs. She didn't know why Naysa was drinking herself stupid today when she was sure there was a graduation ceremony which she was supposed to be one of the graduands.

"Naysa better tell me what is wrong with you." Samara said, helping her into the bed.

"Restrooms." Naysa said.

Samara supported her into the restrooms where Naysa took a long time throwing up a that she had drunk until she felt helpless and exhausted. Then she was helped back into the bed where she finally collapsed.

Marina was dead worried when her phone rung. Looking at the caller, she almost snorted but picked up the call. "Hello Samara."

"Naysa is here drunk stupid, what happened to her?" Samara asked.

"Please, just keep an eye on her, am coming."

Marina sighed. At least Naysa was somewhere safe and with Samara to look at her. After telling uncle Tarran, he started complaining.

"What's wrong with her now? At least a problem shared is half solved. Why didn't she talk her mind out. Or is it because that young man who calls himself her fiance didn't show up?"

"Uncle it's not time to complain. At least not now. We have to get her." Marina said. When Ridden heard about Naysa's whereabouts, he sighed, sending his father's guards at Spark hotel alongside with Marina to get Naysa.

***

Naysa woke up in a moving car and almost felt relieved Jemmy had come for her until she looked up and saw the unfamiliar faces.

"Where am I? Who are you?" She sat up straight.

Naysa closed her eyes and felt herself, she was fine. She felt her boots and good heavens the mini pistol she had secretly taken from Jemmy's closet was still there. She then looked around at the strong ugly looking men around her. So, am I kidnapped?

She knew better than to fight. After all a fragile girl like her wouldn't win either. So she played along

"James... Is that you?" Naysa played astonished when she saw James. "Where are you taking me to?"

Well, Naysa felt there was something about the Caskeys she didn't know. She felt there was a vital information by the Caskeys which she would need. Looking at the serious face of James, she sighed, knowing she can't manage to get away by resisting. So instead, she made herself comfortable in the seat and waited.

They didn't even tie her up. How could such strong men tie up such a fragile woman?

Till then, Jemmy hadn't called it was evident he didn't really care about her feelings. The only person she worried about was Marina and her uncle Tarran.

Soon the car stopped at the Caskey's home. James walked out and Naysa jumped out and followed him. Naysa could have assumed the house was empty but she saw old man Andrew at a corner, his bead buried in a magazine. Naysa knew well if she created a fuss here, then she'll be the one on the worst side.

"Good evening in law." She said politely. James didn't expect this and his mouth hang open.

"Good evening my grand daughter, for the first time James brought a girl home." Old man Andrew didn't know this was the girl James almost raped the day the hotel went ablaze.
