I'm sitting on a rusty old fold-out chair, playing a game with my best bud, Trevor. Out of the blue, the power blacks out, turning all of my gaming setup and lights off. I swing out of my chair, turning to the cable. I unplug it and put it back in, a classic old time move. But surprisingly, it still doesn't work. "What's with the hold up?" I say, confused. I set my controller on the counter in front of my gaming pc, and take my headphones off. "I guess the powers out." I walk over to the door, and slide it open, then rushing into the living room. My parents weren't there, neither was my uncle. "Hello?" I say, plopping down in a recliner chair. "Anyone here?" I say again. "This better now be som-" I hear a slight knock on my door, that quickly turns into banging.

I grab a glass bottle off of the marble table, just in case of an attack. I walk down the stairs, each step with an another bang. "Trevor?" I say, putting my hand on the door handle and creeking it open. I see a person with pale greenish skin outside, dressed in ripped clothes almost exactly like bruce banners after he transforms back from the hulk. "A marvel fan? Well if he's a cosplayer I might as well" I say, opening the door fully. A zombie horde rushes through the wooden doors, trampling over me and everything in their path. I grab my glass bottle, still under the debris, and whack one of the zombies across the head with it, shattering the glass. The zombie falls to the ground, and being the geek I am, I rushed back to my basement and scrambled around the room, searching for any useful things. I find my dusty last kids on earth survival guide, laying on the side of a stack of cardboard boxes. I grab a trusty old Captain America shield replica that was made with real metal. Then I scooped a few plastic bottles of water, and canned food. I searched my basement for a few more minutes, and found some of my greatest inventions, that were supposed to be for Trevor, but I stuffed them in my worn out middle school backpack anyway. I then kicked the door of my basement open, and ran out of my house, which was now overrun with zombies. I whipped my walkie talkie out, that me and Trevor had made to communicate all the way back in third grade. I rush into an abandoned target, and hide behind a shelf, then holding my walkie up to my face. "Trevor do you copy?" I ask. Nothing but static. I take a small breath and set the walkie on the ground. I pulled my only weapon, that I had found in one of the cardboard boxes, AKA "The Night's Edge " Which was essentially a battle axe, only but it was made with fake red ruby's. I then grabbed my walkie talkie and stood up, turning to the gaming section.

I mean, c'mon? Can you blame me, I'm 13! Of course I'm gonna steal…..er, borrow a few games! I ran over to games, opening my backpack and stuffing who knows what into it. I grab two gold Ps4 controllers, and a Ps4, then grabbing a second bag and stuffing the gaming things there. I grab god of war, since I knew Trevor loved that game. Even though they had been playing modern warfare when this so-called 'Zombie apocalypse' had arisen. I zipped my backpack up, and carried my things out of the target. Grey clouds formed and rains started pouring. "I packed all this stuff and still couldn't think of bringing an umbrella?" I say, starting to walk throughout the city. I find a dead military soldier and take his gear, putting his bulletproof vest and visor on. I take my captain america shield out from behind my bag, and slide onto my arm, then tightening it to fit. I then took my backpack off and used it to shield my head. I walk for what feels like days, until I reach this weird base. I look through the little peep hole on the outside. "Trevor?" I say. An eyeball appears in the reflection of the hole. "Anthony! You look like a complete dork." He says, opening what looks like a slide up door of some kind. "You installed that?" I asked. "Yeah, now get inside, I don't want you getting bitten." Trevor replies. I slide in the small base, landing on the ground. I examine the area. Then I take my backpack off, unload my food and water. I pull my Ps4 and Ps4 controllers out and show them to Trevor. "Cool," Trevor says. "Now come on. Let's get us some sleep." Trevor walks down the hole and shows me everything. "Wow" I said. "Yeah, it's cool, and I'm cool. These people said they lived at Bulldog Middle school, the school we USED to go to. And their final broadcast will be tomorrow at 7 AM sharp." Trevor says, pointing at the radio scanner. "Now, unroll your sleeping bag and get your jammies on, we need to wake up at 6:59 AM." Trevor says "Sure thing, friend!" I reply. Me and Trevor get ready for a good night's sleep, and hit the hay.
