1 prologue

Lalabel was walking down the lonely street leading to her modest home, her mind absorbed in her thoughts. The afternoon was shrouded in a faint mist that was slowly taking over the city, plunging the streets into an atmosphere of mystery. The streetlights were beginning to flicker, illuminating the road that meandered between the old trees and the old brick houses.

Without warning, fate decided to play a cruel trick on Lalabel. She tripped over an uneven tile and, in a clumsy attempt to regain her balance, fell to the ground with a clatter. The young woman lay on the sidewalk, her jacket slightly torn and her left hand bleeding slightly. With her heart pounding and her face flushed with embarrassment, she looked up to the sky in search of an explanation. But what she found was something that took her breath away.

Blinding lights flooded her vision, and for an instant, Lalabel felt the ground vanish beneath her. Cries of shock and amazement filled the air as the world around her twisted and faded in a whirlwind of colors.

To her surprise, when she finally managed to focus on her surroundings, she found herself in an empty, silent space. All around him was a blank canvas, with no buildings or streets, just a sort of fog that stretched as far as the eye could see. Her heart was pounding, and a sense of bewilderment came over her.

Suddenly, a voice echoed out of nowhere, breaking the absolute silence. "Congratulations!" the voice said with a mysterious tone, as if reveling in a secret. Lalabel spun in circles, looking for the source of that voice, but saw no one.

A few seconds later, as if it had materialized out of nowhere, a man appeared in front of her. He was an elderly man, with a long grayish beard that fell in untidy locks and equally disheveled hair. He wore a robe that appeared to be made of natural materials, and in his right hand he held a weathered wooden staff, which emanated an aura of inexplicable power.

The man's face was furrowed with wrinkles that told stories of an immemorial time. His eyes, deep and wise, watched Lalabel with a mixture of seriousness and benevolence. An enigmatic smile formed on his lips, and his eyes seemed to sparkle with a knowledge that transcended human comprehension.

Lalabel did not know if she was dreaming, in the middle of a hallucination or if this experience was real. But one thing was certain: she had been torn from her everyday world and found herself in an inexplicable and magical place, in front of a man who emanated an extraordinary presence. The mysterious man with the grayish beard stared at her and, in a whisper, uttered words that resonated deep inside her: "You have been selected to be reincarnated in a different world, Lalabel. Are you ready to embark on this new journey?" His words filled the ethereal atmosphere, she was suspended in time, facing a choice that would change her life forever.

The mysterious man with the grayish beard stared at her, his eyes sparkling with a glow that seemed to come from a place beyond human comprehension. His gaze was intense, as if he could see through every thought and fear Lalabel harbored. The environment they were in was ethereal, a mysterious and timeless space, filled with a soft, golden light that seemed to emanate from nowhere in particular.

Lalabel, a young girl with curious eyes and dark hair, was determined to get answers. Boldly, she interrupted the mysterious old man, whose presence seemed to transcend reality itself.—"I have four questions to ask," she declared with a determination that belied her youth. The old man remained silent, waiting patiently for the young woman's questions, as if he had foreseen this moment from the beginning.

—"The first question is: What kind of world are you going to send me?" inquired Lalabel.

The old man replied in a deep, resonant voice, like the echo of a sacred mountain. —"I need you to fulfill a great mission that has to do with the world to which I will send you. It is the world of the beasts."

Lalabel felt a shiver run down her spine as she heard those words. The facial expressions of the characters were a reflection of their shock and confusion. Lalabel looked perplexed, while the old man kept looking at her with his piercing eyes, waiting for the next question.while the old man continued to stare at her with his piercing eyes, a gaze that seemed to pierce her soul, waiting for Lalabel's next question. His face was marked by deep wrinkles, a long white beard, and eyes that seemed to contain centuries of wisdom.

Second question, "If I fulfill your mission, will I be able to return to the present world?" asked Lalabel in a trembling voice, as her gaze drifted to the ground, unable to hold the intensity of the old man's gaze.

The old man nodded solemnly and replied, —"Yes, and I will give you a great reward."

The words echoed in the room, and Lalabel felt a glimmer of hope cross her face. The confusion in her gaze gave way to a budding determination.Third question, —"What does the great mission consist of?" she finally asked, a lump in her throat. Lalabel needed to know more before committing herself to something that sounded like something out of a Novel.

The old man cleared his throat, and his deep voice echoed in the air. "The half-beasts lack knowledge for their survival, and the birthrate is in decline. Your mission will be to restore the balance, to teach the half-beasts how to survive in this hostile world, and to ensure that the population continues to grow. It is an arduous task and fraught with danger, but if you succeed, you will become a legend in this realm and be rewarded handsomely."

Lalabel was caught up in her thoughts. - "This is looking more and more like, the genre of novel I like to read, if this is so I can have my own reverse harem, kyaa!!!!",-she murmured, a playful smile curving her lips. Her eyes sparkled with excitement as her imagination ran wild. It was as if the words written on those pages came to life before her eyes.

Lalabel couldn't help but think of the possibility of having her own reverse harem, an idea that made her blush slightly. Her skin took on a soft pink hue, and her cheeks flared shyly. Her gaze, on the other hand, burned with passion. It seemed that, at that moment, she had found the key to open the door to a world she had always longed for, and her wildest dreams were coming true in her mind.

Lalabel's expression was one of determination, but also of immense respect for the old man. Her gaze, fixed on the old man's eyes, revealed an intense curiosity for what was about to happen. With a sigh, Lalabel finally asked her question. "May I ask for some benefit of help in fulfilling the great mission?" she inquired, her voice trembling slightly with excitement and uncertainty.

The old man observed her calmly before answering. "I will give you a system that will guide you, support you and provide you with skills and tools to fulfill your great mission," he uttered in a deep voice, which echoed in the mysterious place. His eyes sparkled with ancient wisdom as he continued, —"I will grant you the understanding to communicate clearly with the half-beasts that inhabit this world."

Lalabel nodded, taking in the magnitude of what was being bestowed upon her. However, one last question burned in her mind. —"Can I choose which race I want to be in?"

The old man seemed to ponder for a moment, then nodded. —"Yes, Lalabel, you have that power of choice. Destiny is in your hands, and the world you will explore is full of wonders and dangers. Choose wisely, for your choice will mark the path you will follow in this great mission."

—I don't always want to be protected, I want to support them and be of help to them," I looked at her dark purple hair, she said with determination, "I want to be a panther.

With a farewell gesture, the old man handed her an amulet, and in a flash of light, Lalabel found herself in a new world, ready to face her great mission.
