A good signal!

"A research student from the reputed university of State X has gone missing in the western sea.

The reported student and their crew have gone into the sea to collect samples for their research.

During their return, the ship got stuck in the Nova Cyclone and the female student from their crew accidentally fell into the sea.

The sea guards and patrols are doing their best to rescue the missing student"

"SBC news – ken" the News has been telecasted on the TV.

Zaike turned his head towards the Television. He accidentally heard the news while passing through the waiting area in the hospital. He was anguished as his heart felt a sudden strike of pain.

He remembered krith messaged him when moving back to the hostel stating that they will be continuing their research under Dr. Han from the National Institute of marine science. NIMS is located on the coast of the western sea. The moment he thought about the possibility of Armelle could be the one, made his heart disturbed.

Even though there may or may not be for Armelle, his heart sunk in indescribable pain.

He dialed his friend asking for his help to confirm his heart feeling.

Within a short time, his friend Rex has been able to get the contact of the ship.

Rex was a bubbly person and he was a man Zyaire would trust.

"Hey, man!! I have got the details about the ship and if you want, I can connect the line with the ship captain now." Rex spoke.

"I'm getting back from my shift. Hold on, I'll be there at your place in a few minutes" Zaike replied on the other line, soon he ended the call.

Rex's condo unit is located within a few minutes' walking distance from Zaike's hospital.

Zaike walked down straight to Rex's condo unit, as he didn't like to waste time in taking his vehicle from the parking as it would extend a few minutes.

In a few minutes,

Rex was disturbed by the bell sound.

"You came soon??" Rex questioned, but Zaike didn't seem to respond. He was so confused and stressed, his heart feeling was not so good. Even though there might not be for Armelle and her crew. He couldn't help but stop worrying about it.

"Will I be able to talk to the ship captain??" he asked Rex.

'He was so much tensed about it. If I say that it was the ship that Armelle and her crew traveled, will he be okay? Will he think rationally?' Rex battled inside his mind whether to say the truth he knows.

"Stop staring at me, Rex. Please do something. My heart feeling is not good. I feel so flustered" he spoke without a gap, which is not something normal.

"Wait, why do you look nervous? Do you have anything to say to me?" he continued without battling his eye.

"Zaike!! Prepare your mind" Rex spoke peeping into his soul.

Rex said about the information he got from the investigation.

'It should not be Armelle' his mind repeated those words again and again.

"Is there a possibility to talk with the ship captain??" he asked again.

"Yeah! I got to speak with him through the satellite phone on the ship. Hold on!! I'll connect the call" Rex spoke as he worked on his laptop.

Rex connected the call and handed over the headphones to Zaike.

"Signals have been established, Zak. You can speak with the captain now!"

After getting enough information from the captain, Zaike's face became gloomy, his eyes were burning red with anger and an unknown feeling of suffering in his heart. A feeling of pain and Anger in yourself when your loved one was in danger but you could do nothing to help them.

'Why in the world happened it has to be my Row' he became grief-stricken. He couldn't be able to utter a word more.

He took a deep breath to control his emotion. He acted rationally, knowing that this is not the time to cry.

He gathered up his courage to talk with Krith. He sighed.

"May I speak with Krith?" Zaike requested the ship captain with a worrisome tone.

"Hold in the line" the captain replied.

'I am sorry Armelle. I should have called back when you tried to reach me. I'm sorry Armelle. I was wrong, I was so selfish about myself. I promise. I promise that god will give me another chance.. nothing will happen to you. I will save you no matter what.' He said to himself mustering up his courage morally.

The silence was interrupted, when the person on the other line took the phone receiver and spoke, "Hello??"

"Krith, have you been well??" he asked plainly, trying to hold back the emotions.

"Zai-ke??" Krith replied trembling.

"Don't worry Krith. We will find her soon!" he spoke with reassuring words as if he didn't expect the reply to his question.

"It's all because of me that incident happened. Forgive me, Zak. I'm sorry, it was all my fault. I should have been more protective of her. I'm sorry Zaike!!!!" She started to break down in a pool of her tears, once again becoming hysterical.

Drey, who witnessed the scene, took the phone receiver from Krith.

"I'm Drey, their teammate. I'm sorry to interrupt; Krith was not stable enough to talk with you now." Drey spoke.

"Please take care of her for me. She has astraphobia." Zaike reinstated.

Drey explained to Zaike their plan to find Armelle. Zaike requested to update on any progress in their work. Soon the call ended.

"Get the chopper ready Rex. We will start from here. It will soon be dusk. We have to move there fast. They are tracking her smartwatch location to find her. They will update us if there is any progress in their work." Zaike spoke non-stop.

The chopper is made ready in no time as he had already called for one.

"The chopper is ready in the terrace helipad of this building,"

"Ask them to check for the situation to start the chopper in 5 minutes," Zaike spoke impatiently.

"Done!!" he replied as he nodded.

Reay sat in front of the laptop screen absentmindedly thinking about other possibilities to find Armelle, he was disturbed by the sudden beep sound from his laptop.

The GPS location of the device which they were tracking started to transmit the active signal, indicating it with a beep sound.

"Zyaire!!!!" Reay yelled in happiness.

Zyaire who was surprised by the sudden roar of Reay turned his head to answer him.

"Man!! We made it. Armelle's watch is producing live active signals." He shouted in happiness making Zyaire deafen as he ran towards to hug him to express his Everest happiness.

Drey, Krith, and Noel were baffled as they entered the basement cabin witnessing the happiness on Reay's and Zyaire's face.

Reay and Zyaire informed them about the happy news, looking over their happy face.

Everyone was so exhilarated to hear the news.

Krith who was so impatient started to burst into tears, "Thanks a lot, thank you for saving my friend, I'm grateful to each one of you." Krith spoke grinning, rubbing her puffy eyes to wipe her tears of joy.

She turned towards Drey, "Thanks a lot for being with me Drey! I'm happy to have you by my side" she spoke pulling Drey into her embrace. But the words of her were embarrassing enough to hide his face in her shoulder.

Drey, 'Is she giving me a compliment or complaining??' he was befuddled, yet holding her tight.

Others: "???"

(Ignoring the dog feed in front of their eye!😅)

In his entire time with Krith, he had never witnessed her in this state. He never wants to see her again like this.

'No…never… I'll not let her get broken from now on I promise' he promised himself as he pulled over her into his embrace and placed his head in the nook of her neck.

She could feel the hot breath of Drey in her bare skin. She was embarrased yet it strangely felt good, the warmness of him around her making her feel secure in his arms.
