500 years into the future, space exploration has developed so much that humanity managed to explore the 3 Galaxies. The Milky Way, Andromeda and the Pegasus Galaxy. The Population of humanity reached 2 Trillion up to this point on which it occupied numerous habitable worlds on the 3 Galaxies.

Those ventures have led to an increase in the advancement of technology. It affected all aspects of life. One such example is the Virtual Gaming World community. Thousands and thousands of individuals have shown their great strengths in the different Virtual Games across the 3 Galaxies all over the years. However, there is one individual who stood at the very peak among these great individuals.

His name was Quan Shi, he's commonly known as The Emperor of Virtual Reality Games. People said that no gamer was his equal. He's so powerful other people thought he was a cheat. Dominating lands, finishing the hardest raids, endless titles and glories are some of his feats on all games that he played since he started. The strongest person known to almost all gamers so they say.

When misfortune strikes. Quan Shi vanished for a long time. No one knew what happened and no one knew why. He just stopped appearing on VR games. It happened on the day of the release of the latest game Emperor Online.

3 years have passed since that day. Everyone seems to have forgotten the incident due to the hype of the game.

Virtual Era, the Year 2538

A 23-year old boy named Shi Fan enthusiastically bought his new Virtual Capsule which costs about 18 months of his minimum wage salary. Seeing the excitement of Virtual Reality Games he himself also joined in on the fun.

Graduating from college was hard but finding job opportunities is even harder. He was only left with one choice. To play "Emperor Online" and to find a living there by selling items. He planned to do this 3 years ago when he saw the popularity boom of the game. However due to the Samir Schooling Exclusion Law which prevented students who are still below the age of 22 from playing any sort of virtual games he couldn't do so.

In his pastime, Shi Fan used to browse the forums and news and data about Emperor Online as much as he could, it could be said that almost all of the reported things about the game have already been seen by Shi Fan. He promised himself that one day he will also be one of the reported people in those platforms.

"Emperor Online". The game that was made by the 3 Galaxies Fortune Companies. It sparked a large change in the Virtual Era on the day of its inception.

The "Continent" in the game was said to be as large if not larger like an entire solar system and it is even said to be continually expanding every year with numerous updates. Countless empires and kingdoms have risen and fallen over the course of the three years and monarchy have changed like snapping fingers.

Rare encounters and fortunes have been made possible. Even the poor can become rich overnight just bu playing the game. Numerous herbs and ores are still waiting to be discovered. Numerous job paths were made available for many people. The obtainable great achievements and titles and those names that are well known by the masses which are even more popular than celebrities are what drives gamers into the game.

The most popular VRMMO with an unshakeable 95% market share. It could be said to be the 2nd World of the Virtual Era. Even those with disabilities can experience the world through their 5 senses as if they didn't have any physical problems. Its realistic experience is incomparable to any existing VRMMO besides Emperor Online.

Wars that were being waged in different planets have been stopped as their wars were permanently moved into the Game due to the War Coordination Law which says that territories that were won in-game applied also in the real world where the territory is affiliated to.

This way the bloodshed was averted and unnecessary deaths have lessened. Most of the Credits are being circulated in the game and the living of humanity has improved by a lot in the past 3 years.

Before entering the capsule Shi Fan's phone rang he picked it up and listened to what the caller is talking about.

"Yes, master I understand." He respectfully said to his caller. Opening the Capsule lid with a smirk on his face Shi Fan entered and can feel the smooth and cool surface of the cabin. As he closed the lid he began to familiarize himself with the device. Plugging in the capsule's life support system which measures heart rate, blood pressure as well as brain activity.

Closing his eyes. Taking deep breaths.

Shi Fan said. "Launch Emperor Online"

"Acknowledged" A female robot spoke from the cabin speakers.

A ray of light shone from his imagination. But this is no imagination. It is the process of transferring consciousness from Reality To the Virtual one.

Then his virtual body pops out in a huge white room. Scanning around Shi Fan can see a floating blue robot that is typing something.

Walking forward slowly the robot noticing his presence looked up.

"Good Day to you User #UZ9827898" a male voice came from the robot. Then a

holographic keyboard immediately appeared in front of Shi Fan

"Please type in your username:" the robot spoke calmly.

As he was about to type. The keyboard disappeared like a bubble. And the walls of the white room slowly cracked revealing a large crack that allowed something to slip through.

"Warning: System Intruder Alert," The robot warningly said as his eyes blinked red and then it slowly disappeared as if the entity above him is rejecting his existence.

"Oh ho? There's really someone here?" a cold voice spoke from the shadow human-like figure that came from the cracks.

"Who are you?!" Shi Fan spoke while looking up. It's his first time playing the game yet he already encountered a problem. Fearing being stuck in games like those conspiracies he has seen he couldn't help but shiver.

"I am named Quan Shi. I exist in this nothingness. I'm the beginning and I'm also the end of this world. But now for me to escape these chains binding me. I will need your help." The unknown voice replied to his question.

Before Shi Fan could speak again. A bright silver light coming from the unknown figure suddenly rushed into Shi Fan's body.

After that scene, Shi Fan fainted. And his body slowly disappeared from the room leaving no trace like powder dissolving into the wind and the robot returned as if nothing happened before.
