18 Chapter 18 - It's for your own good, Jeff

The night has fallen so as all of the patients in the Rich Hospital. They've already rest comfortably in their bed.

However, there was a patient who still couldn't rest in his bed.

He seemed like he was searching for something. When you took a closer look at him, he has dark hair with his black eyes and he was quite a cutie.

His body was small and the beads of sweats could be seen as he moves. His heart was beating too fast as he occasionally looked around.

"Page, tell me," Jeffrey asked Page in a whisper. "Is Ascalapus looking for a beating?"

Page usually gave him a certain answer if it was related to Ascalapus, but right now, she fell silent.

A little while ago, Jeffrey succeeded in his first abrupt mission and he successfully reached level 2.

Without being asked, Jeffrey said, "Yes."

Jeffrey widened his eyes as he looked at the status section. His luck points were actually minus? Was this the reason he had to went through reincarnation three times?

Maybe his meeting with Ascalapus was due to his luck.

But, the good thing was all the information in the status section had already opened up. He decided to allocate his points later and went to rest for a bit.

Around dinner time, the second abrupt mission came out.

However, the mission itself successfully made him speechless.

After he read the mission, he quickly messaged Ascalapus.

Jeffrey: 'Hey, are you crazy? Why the hell you did give me that kind of mission?"

Without guilt, Ascalapus replied to him.

Ascalapus: 'The purpose of that mission is for you to gain awareness. It's for your own good, Jeff."

Reading that message almost made him destroy the phone. His mouth twitched as he said, "Let's do this, Page!"

Since there was no time limit nor the requirements, Jeffrey could let out a sigh of relief.

Jeffrey asked Page to search the ladies' toilet in this hospital. However, Jeffrey hadalready learned his lesson for trusting Page too much.

Jeffrey started the mission around midnight. He clearly ignored his sleepy eyes and went inside the fifth floor's toilet.

Thanks to his small body, the nurse that stayed for the night shift couldn't see his body.

Right now, Jeffrey is inside the toilet and searching in every room in the toilet. However, he couldn't find it.

"Page," He called her once again. "How is it? Have you already done scanning the whole hospital?"

Page answered, "Yes, master. There is on the third floor. You may go down."

Jeffrey prayed that Page didn't mess up. Although the penalty looked like an easy thing, it was actually not.

When he got caught by someone, he was pretty sure that a lot of rumors would be surrounding him. The worst of it, he could be labeled as a pervert.

What if his parents knows about it? Wasn't it the same as him looking for a beating?

Shortly after, he went to the third floor and went inside the bathroom quietly.

He exhaled out and said, "Page, please stay alert."

"Yes, master."

He looked one by one at the toilet cubicles. He didn't find anything yet and in the last toilet cubicle, he saw a bra above the closet.

He flushed as his face turned red and quickly grabbed it.

After he saw the notification, he quickly threw it up and went back to his room.

Unfortunately, no one has noticed his presence. Just as he was about to let out a sigh of relief, a voice approached his ear. "Jeffrey?"

Jeffrey stood still in the hallway of the third floor. He knew this voice.

He said, "Sister Kayla? What are you doing here?"

Kayla approached him as she saw Jeffrey on the third floor. She frowned and looked around.

She thought, 'What is he doing here in front of women toilet?"

Kayla crossed her hands in her chest and glared at him, "Well, it should be me who ask that. Why are you here at night?"

"Page, what should I say?" Jeffrey asked Page to help him.

"Master, you can just say you are lost."

Jeffrey, "..."

Right. How could Page be this reliable?

He twitched his eyes and smiled at Kayla. "Sister Kayla, when I want to sleep, I saw someone and follow him."

Kayla looked confused. "Someone? Who is it?"

Jeffrey shrugged his shoulders and answered, "I don't know. When sister Kayla called me, he's gone."

Kayla looked around and didn't see anybody. Her body suddenly felt cold and she has goosebumps in her body.

There was a myth that children occasionally could see a lot of things that the adults couldn't see.

"Then, you should go back right now. Quick, I'll take you to your room."

"Okay, sister," Jeffrey replied.

Without their knowing, a boy giggled at them in the corner of the hallway and he suddenly went through the wall.
