⚜️Chapter XXVIII: A vow to her.

We came to our HQ and our underlings welcoming us.

"Everything's ready, sir."

One of our personnel informed me as soon as we got inside, the women delivered straight to the clinic so Romano and I waited for awhile.

"Bro, do you think there someone who helped them? Because it's impossible for King, I mean from that count and from the distance we came, it's really impossible."

Romano said while we waiting here at the mini bar. He got some few shots after a while.

"Excuse, sir Joker, sir Ace." and he bowed at us.

"How are they?" Romano asked him.

He's one of the doctor in the gang and I admit say he really doing best on his field.

"I must say for now they're fine but I won't say you can talk to them for a quite long time--" I cut him off and ask him.

"They're still breathing?" I feel Romano gazed at me.

"Yes, master. they're alive but still unconscious and one of them who kept awake was saying something and I concluded that she may experience a traumatic stress."

"When I will can talk with them or even one of them?"

"Probably a month and that's not sure tho."

"You may leave now, Dr. Mckluine."

He bowed then walked out of the room and left us here falling in a deep thoughts.

Two weeks had gone passed and there's still no changed on their status. Still unconscious the four of them and the one who awake among them was kept saying something and dammit we can't figured out for what she pertaining to, in whom or what?

"Wazzup, bro?" Xero called me then stood beside me. We're here at the HQ and until now those women lying unconscious except for one.

"Any news?" Xero asked and I shook my head at him telling him nothing's new.

We couldn't still talked with Stefany in properly, the group of women who abducted to Vergara and Almonte. She's the one who won as a campus queen last time, and they're obsessed at us. Not to mentioned but it is.

"How about the others?" again another shook of head he got.

And until up to now Vergara and Almonte was still unconscious.

"N-no! N-noo! She's a m-monster... a monster! Aaahh!!"

We stared to each other when we heard the scream of a woman. Where ran with Steve, one of the doctor and Xero's cousin. When we came we saw Stefany lose in sanity again while the two underlings stopping her when Steve put a syringe on her arm causing her to fall slowly in her bed.

"What happened?" Xero asked him and I'll wait for his answer.

How they'd status gone worst?

"I-I'm not sure." Steve whispered but we heard him.

"What your not sure, Steve?" Xero asked.

"It's just not simple traumatic stressed she had experienced. It's worst than I thought, fvck! I can't tell you for now, I need to do more test, dammit!"

Steve said frustratingly while his continue checking her when Xero whisper at me.

"Bro, who you might think behind to all of this? To killed those three hundred men and to Steff's group who still unconscious and to Steff gone worst. Really scary." he longer stated and acted like quivering in fear. Tch! He's really crazy.

I didn't say a word and getting out of the room and before I could, I heard what she said.

"She's a freaking witch! A monster! A red eye b-bitch! You need to kill her! That girl.. and her friend they're damm freak!" Stefany screaming.

I look at her after she said that she fell unconscious. What does she mean by that?

But she damm said 'she'? Does it mean it's really a damm woman? and a friend? She's not alone?

"Hey, bro! Where are you going?"

I abruptly cut on my thoughts when he called me but I continued to walk and didn't bother to look at him.

"Hey! Baby blue!" Still didn't look at him.

"Hey! Baby blue!"

I'd stop when his arm put across on my shoulder when we got to the parking lot. And when I looked at him on my surprised I pushed him hard away from me.

Dammit!

"Aw! Why did you push me, bro?" he retorted while getting up.

He's asking why, damm this fvcking freaking gay!

I glared at him intently and this bastard was laughing in nowhere. Tch! He and his trip are totally out of the world. I shook my head to him, I can't do with him.

"Oh? Where are you going?" he asked after he laughed like a maniac.

"Hospital." then I hopped in on my car and before I could close my door he stopped me.

"Wait, bro! Where hospital are Snow?" he asked and I looked at him bored.

"Vergara and Almonte, they're transferring now to your hospital."

"Ha! Your right. Let's go!" he said then get on his car and we drove away.

As we came to the hospital I quickly parked my car and he's tailing me and until now he was grinning like a dog.

When I entered inside the hospital all eyes laid at me. Psh! This is so not new tho. I don't give a damm and walked directly at the front desk and asking where's the room of Vergara, them.

At first the nurse didn't answered me and dazed at me, sigh. Girls are girls, really but except for 'them'. 'She' and Vergara they're different.

"Miss?" I snapped on her.

"Ah! S-sorry, sir. Miss Vergara's room 309, s-sir." she said in stuttering voice then smile widely to me. I just nod at her and turned my back.

"Yaah! He's super handsome, sis.'

"Your right but seems snob. But he's really handsome! kyaah!"

I shook my head to what I heard from them. That's the problem to us for being handsome. Psh!

I heard Romano and he tood beside me while waiting the elevator door to open.

"Sigh! Thinking too deep, it's drowning, ha?" He snapped at ne but I didn't respond to him so he did too.

When elevator's door opened we saw Louise and Auntie Athena, Van's mom.

"Hey, brat! Hi, auntie!" Xero greeted them and aunt smile at us.

"Hey, Romano! Haha! Auntie, I'll go now." Louise then walked outside.

"Where are you going?" Romano asked Louise.

"Buying some foods. Alright!" Then waved at us before he gone to our sight.

"Hi, auntie." I greeted Van's mom as we enter inside the elevator.

"Are you guys will visiting your friends too?" Auntie asked and Romano the one answered her.

"Yap, aunt A. How about you, auntie?"

"To my baby G and I'll visit Ren too." auntie said and the guy beside me suppressing his damm laugh. Auntie really is, up to now she calling Van baby.

What's he going to do when he knows auntie call him baby in front of us? Pft!

When we reach her room where she admitted, Auntie was first went inside then Romano before me.

Auntie walked towards Van where laid his head on the bedside of Vergara seems he fell asleep there. I heard he didn't come to their home because he stayed here entire weeks. My best friend was got hit did he?

It's good to seeing him that he already moving on from her. But why am I feeling like this, some pang of pain?

"Mom?" He did awake due to auntie's tapping him shoulder.

"Sorry, ijo, did I woke you."

"It's okay, mom."

"Yow! Bossing." Xero snapped so Van look at our side, I nod at him and so he was to us.

"How is she,ijo?" Auntie asked him and Van looked to the girl laid-back on the bed.

"The doctor said she's fine and she may wake anytime soon."

While he saying that he didn't broke his stared at her. I looked away from them amd I don't know why I'm feeling like this...

After a minute we bid to them because we have to classes to attend too. And before I left her room I took a last glanced at her and whispered to myself.

'I'll protect you no matter what even it cost me my life. Even if means loving you from afar, silently. I'll be glad of you're happy.'

That's when I realized what my damm feelings towards her.

And yes, I might love her now.
