86 Great Way? Only something to be crushed!

Jasmine said "Tomorrow I will teach you." Yun Che nodded and got some rest, Cross went into the Sky Poison Pearl and saw Jasmine wiping her eyes, he walked forward and said gently "Are you okay?" Jasmine jumped and said with a flustered expression "Y-You! Can't you tell me when you're going to pop in here?!"

Cross chuckled and said "Sorry. Your brother.. He's dead?" Jasmine stiffened and Cross awkwardly hugged her saying "Um, if it helps. I have never seen my parents before." Jasmine grabbed onto his shirt tightly and cried.

Cross rubbed her back and hummed softly, as Luna does to him. Jasmine slowly fell asleep with puffy red eyes, Cross picked her up in a princess carry and put her in her bed before covering her with a blanket gently and going back to his inner world.

The next day

Cross came out into the Sky Poison Pearl and Jasmine was sitting on her bed with a pink face. Cross was confused and said "Hey, Jas-" Jasmine attacked him in embarrassment and Cross suited up before swinging his Mace to meet her.

Jasmine said coldly "You're still too weak!" Cross chuckled and gulped as he shot towards her and they started sparring again.

A while later

Cross was on his ass and his armor was shattered in several places while his mace was destroyed. He groaned and Jasmine said "Enough for today. Yun Che is in the Profound whatever room." Cross dispelled the armor and mace before teleporting out with Jasmine.

They appeared in the room and Jasmine said "This place isn't bad." Cross sniffed and said "My inner world is 100 times better than this place..." Jasmine rolled her eyes and said "Both of you sit down!"

Cross pointed at himself in shock and Jasmine said "You're learning too! Did you think you were every strong? Wrong. You're weak!" she slapped him to the ground and shouted "SIT!" Yun Che trembled and felt Jasmine was a little angry today.

Cross sat down and grumbled "Damn loli.. Just you wait, one day I'll-" Jasmine glared at him and he shut his mouth but still grumbled internally as he sat next to Yun Che. Jasmine snorted but her eyes were smiling, she reached out and tapped on Cross and Yun Che's foreheads.

Cross waved his hand just before she touched him and a 1hour-1minute time bubble appeared.

Everything faded to black and Cross heard a voice "Do you have the ability to comprehend the 'Great Way of the Buddha', Young Elf?" Cross said "You know what I am?!"

A man was floating in front of him as he nodded "Of course. I have seen your kind before. Answer my question, Youngster." Cross nodded and said "I do." the man asked "What is your understanding?"

Cross said slowly "I want to protect my family and become the strongest being to ever live. I don't want to live at the mercy of someone or something else!" the man nodded and said "Very good. This is indeed what your soul desires, but you must learn what 'Great Way' and 'Buddha' is if you wish to comprehend the art. So then, tell me. What is your understanding of these two?"

Cross said "The Great Way is everything. The people, the plants, the energy, and the laws..." The man nodded but Cross continued "But it is also nothing! It is something that can be surpassed, can be broken, can be bent to the mercy of anyone strong enough to bend it! I am the Great Way and the Great Way is me!"

The man trembled and said "Marvelous! Excellent!" Cross added "As for Buddha... From what I've understood of Buddhism... You are Buddha and I am Buddha. Buddha lives inside every living being." The man almost dissipated his owl soul in excitement as he said "Come, Child. Seek your 'Great Way' and your 'Buddha'!"

Cross had a vicious expression on his face which turned to a light one, then a calm, soul stirring, smile as he body flashed a silver light and a small Pagoda sank into his head. Cross opened his eyes and saw Jasmine staring at him, completely dumbfounded.

Cross stood up and walked out of the Time Bubble before saying "And?" Jasmine mumbled in disbelief "T-Thirty minutes..." Cross rubbed his chin and said "That long? 30 minutes outside is 30 hours inside..."

Jasmine almost slapped him and said "LONG?! MY BROTHER TOOK 33 DAYS!!!" Cross ducked under her little fist as he said "Alright! Alright! Stop yelling! You angry little loli!" Jasmine seethed and grabbed him before entering the Sky Poison Pearl and sparring again.

A while later

Cross and Jasmine were back outside again and Cross had a black eye as he said hatefully "You damn loli, I swear one of these days I'll spank you good!" Jasmine blushed and shouted "Do you want another beating!?" Cross grinned and curled his fingers as he said "Come on! This time I'll beat you!"

Jasmine lunged at him and they started fighting as Yun Che opened his eyes and stepped out of the time bubble. Jasmine and Cross stopped and looked over. Jasmine was clawing at Cross, who grabbed her wrists and held them back, they were in a very ambiguous position.

Yun Che felt awkward and Cross threw Jasmine away as he said "Took you long enough! I had to wait another 42 minutes!" Yun Che said "42 MINUTES?!" Cross nodded and said "You were inside for 3 days or 72 hours or 1 hour and 12 minutes."

Yun Che said "Can't I just sit inside it for 3 months straight?" Cross chuckled and said "If you want to be a middle aged man when you come out be my guest. You'll be there for 15 years if you sit there for 3 months."

Yun Che smiled wryly as he touched his nose and said "Never mind..." Jasmine flew back in an angry look as she said "You only crossed the threshold! Go back and get the first realm!" Cross sat back down in the time bubble and started cultivating again, not bothering with an enraged Jasmine.

Yun Che chuckled and ran back into the time bubble.

Cross sat down and absorbed the vitality in the air, reforming his blood, bones, hair, flesh, everything. Cross' Profound Veins looked to be shining like pitch black crystals, every single one of them, the sparkling veins were glittered with multicolored specks, as was his Profound energy.

Cross felt a warm calming aura nourishing his body, every nook and cranny of him was being thoroughly cleansed and reformed. Even his Void Energy was being purified as it circulated faster and faster, kicking up the conversion process by several notches.

His aura steadily increased and his body glowed gold. A golden Pagoda appeared over his head and sank down.

His body dimmed and Cross opened his eyes before stepping out of the time bubble. Jasmine stared at him in a daze with rosy cheeks. Cross was confused and touched his face as he said "Did I get more handsome?" Jasmine gulped and turned away in a fluster.

Cross ignored her and waved his hand, making a water mirror before cursing "Fuck! I look like a woman!" Though he was extremely handsome! Too handsome even! Even the Author started to hate him for being more handsome than himself!

Cross had smooth fair skin in stark contrast to his pitch black tattoos. His piercing and beautiful red ruby eyes, and sharp features made him look heroic yet gentle. The biggest change was his hair... It was now as smooth as silk and flowed down his back.

Cross was truly upset. He looked at Jasmine and said "How long has it been?" Yun Che woke up and his aura flared up to True Profound 5th level. Cross was a whole great Realm ahead of him at Spirit Profound 5th level.

Jasmine said "Well it's been 20 days outside..." Cross almost spit out blood and crushed the time bubble angrily. Yun Che said "What happened?" Cross slapped him and said "We spent 3 years in that fucking bubble!" Yun Che looked at himself and said "Eh?"

Cross cursed "Now my hair is like this!" Jasmine said "You crossed the first Realm of the Great Way of the Buddha... You may be at the threshold of the second..." Cross nodded and said "I know. I can feel it, everything in my body is purer. Anyway, I'm going back to the Pearl, then my inner world to fix this mess."

Jasmine pointed a rock at him and it flashed before she put it away, Cross rolled his eyes and Yun Che said "Eh?" As a golden pagoda sank into his head. Cross rolled his eyes and disappeared into the pearl, if Yun Che didn't cross the threshold now, wouldn't he be an idiot?

Cross teleported to the castle and woke Luna up.

Luna opened her eyes and cried seeing Cross as she said "I haven't seen you in forever!" before lunging at him and hugging him tightly. Cross felt her cultivation was at Sky Profound Realm 1st level and he gave her a gentle smile as he said "Stop using the Time Bubble my love. It's enough now."

Luna hummed and kissed Cross deeply, feeling a need to be loved after such a long time. Cross undressed her and kissed every inch of her perfect body as he said "My little wife needs to be taken care of properly." Luna hummed in agreement as she said "Mhm~"

Cross smiled and laid her down on the bed gently before massaging her entire body. Luna hummed in delight and Cross' hands crept to her slit before rubbing thoroughly, making Luna moan loudly. This was the first touch in years for her.

Cross slipped his fingers inside as he said "Have to massage in insides too~!" Luna said seductively "I know what will work better~" Cross grinned and got above her, naked, before kissing her lips and forcing his way inside, Luna moaned and clawed at Cross' back in pleasure.

A while later

Cross was sitting in a chair as Luna stood behind him, cutting his hair as she teased "I think it was really beautiful before~" Cross rolled his eyes and said "I don't want to be beautiful! I want to be manly! Heroic! Handsome!" Luna squished his cheeks from behind and said "Unfortunately, my love, you are already too beautiful." Cross grumbled and Luna giggled as she kissed his head saying "But I still love you~"

Cross rolled his eyes and said "Thank god, eh?" Luna laughed and said "Yeah, if you look any better I might leave and find someone less beautiful to make myself feel better." Cross laughed and shook his head as he said "I'll kill him."

Luna giggled and continued cutting his hair and humming softly.

A few minutes later

Cross left the castle and went back to the Sky Poison Pearl while Luna went back to converting her energy without a Time bubble this time.

Cross saw Yun Che beating some kids who threatened him with one of the kid's uncle. Cross ignored it and donned his armor and mace as he shouted "You damn loli! I'll spank you good today!" and charged at Jasmine, with complete disregard for his own life and safety.

Jasmine smirked and attacked Cross, who swung his mace to meet her small hand. Shockwaves boomed in the Sky Poison Pearl as Cross and Jasmine started sparring again. Cross' attacks were noticeably more heavy now and more ruthless to not just Jasmine but himself.

He took a palm to the chest and hit Jasmine in the shoulder, before flying backwards. But he got back up and kept going with seemingly infinite stamina.

A while later

Jasmine and Cross stopped and Cross dispelled his mace and armor with a grin as he said "Little loli, how does it feel?" Jasmine glared at him and rubbed her ass, this guy purposely distracted her with a swing then cheekily spanked her!

Cross laughed but froze soon after as he looked outside and said coldly "Feels like a Frozen Piss woman..." Jasmine stiffened as she said "Frozen Piss... Woman?" before looking out of the Pearl and seeing a woman dressed in white and saying "Yun Che, don't even think about it! This woman is Half-Step Emperor Realm! She could sneeze you out of existence."

Cross waved and said "I can sneeze her out right after. Do it Pepe Le Pew!"
