172 Demon Battlefield

Long Chen said "What was that?!" Cross smiled and said "A little trick, have you ever heard of hypnosis?" Long Chen said "That's a powerful hypnosis..." Cross waved and said "Actually, they were extremely weak so they were easily hypnotized."

He chuckled and said "I think Bai Shishi will love her gift. Hehe~" Long Chen shook his head and laughed.

Suddenly there was a shout "You can laugh when you're dead." everybody looked over, so many visitors today?

Luo Bing was about to say something, when Long Chen raised his hand. She took a step back and said nothing, Luo Qingyang was burning with jealousy. The rest of the Luo Clan disciples sighed at this retarded gigolo.

The man in front of the new arrivals said "As instructed by our leader, you will dissolve your group within 3 days, or you'll become our, Dragon Fire League's, number 1 enemy." Long Chen slapped him, smashing half his head and sending him flying down the mountain.

A man charged at Long Chen, only to get a sword in his chest. Long Chen sneered "This strength and you think you can just bully anyone who walks by?" the man said "Y-Y-You don't dare kill me!" Long Chen sneered and replied "In this world, there's nothing I don't dare do. I won't kill you today because I don't want to spill blood on a celebration. You go back and tell Long Yan to piss on the ground and look at his reflection. If there's something wrong he can come for me, Long Chen. Don't blame me if you play such a dirty move again, inner court, outer court, I'll kill you all."

He took back his sword and the man backed off. The rest of the Dragon Fire group drew their swords with bad intentions. Long Chen frowned "Listen carefully, take one step and I'll slaughter you." a scythe spun through the air and stuck into the ground in front of the group as Cross said from the back "Killing people is my favorite pastime." he had a bloodthirsty grin on his face, sending chills down the group's spines.

The man who got stabbed shivered and said "Let's go." one disciple said "Brother Zhang, this..." the man named Zhang shouted "I said let's go! Are you deaf?!" they all gulped and left, Cross twitched his finger and the scythe flew back into his hand, spinning into a bead bracelet.

Long Chen said "Fuck! These idiots back in my world, if I didn't kill them people would think I have a small dick." the girls blushed, Long Chen coughed and said "Sorry." Luo Bing shook her head and said "It's fine. If I want to rise in the inner court, there must be competition. Dignity and resources are meant to be fought over through life and blood."

Luo Qingyang said "Bing'er, you just opened Luo Legion, but already have the 3rd place League coming after you. Your behavior may implicate the rest of the Family!" Luo Ning shouted "Luo Qingyang! Get the fuck out of here! Never come here again!"

Luo Qingyang and the rest left and everybody else went inside to see the place.

A while later

Cross was leaning back in a chair with his feet propped up on a table. Yuanyuan was nestled in his lap, mimicking her father's posture with her hands behind her head and her feet crossed. Long Chen told the rest how he 'offended' the 3rd league and they all sighed.

Cross nearly fell asleep until he was addressed personally "Cross, don't you need resources?" Cross opened his eyes and said "Eh?" Luo Bing said "Fifth brother, don't you need resources?" Cross yawned and said "Can I just use pills? Long Chen can make 'em." Long Chen said "Oi... Do I look like your personal Alchemist?"

Cross looked at him and squinted before saying "Ah? You do!" Long Chen spat spit out blood, Luo Bing giggled and said "Fifth brother, maybe I can help?" Cross said "Don't act all mysterious with me, little girl. Just spit it out, formalities aren't for me."

Luo Bing smiled and said "If you go to the battlefield you can get killing points that can be used instead of crystals to buy things..." Cross snapped his fingers and said "Long Chen, how about this! I get the killing points, I give them to you and you make me pills? I can set up a bubble for you so your own speed won't decrease at all!"

Long Chen rubbed his chin and said "I don't know... What's in it for me?" Cross almost smacked him saying "Helping a brother in need! What do you mean what's in it for you?! How about this, I'll kidnap Bai Shishi and leave her on your bed, tied up. Sound good?"

Everybody's jaws dropped and Long Chen laughed before shaking his head saying "I'll do it, but you don't have to kidnap Bai Shishi." Cross chuckled and said "Good, I don't even know what she looks like. If I kidnap the wrong person, won't I look like an idiot?" the rest were stunned, that's what you're worried about?

They settled how they were going to work and the next day, Cross left Yuanyuan with Ying'er and told the girls he was going to the battlefield. If they were really in trouble just run to the Tiannu League and join them. If someone was daring enough to make trouble at the Tiannu League, maybe they were already riding the Dean's shoulders.

The girls nodded and they left right away, obviously after hearing the benefits of the Tiannu league, there was really no reason not to join. Plus, Cross told them if they were being bullied in there, not a single woman would survive, even if he has to drag the Dean's granddaughter by the hair from the Dean's house!

Yuanyuan cried and said she wanted to go with Cross, who told her that he was going to hunt perverts and was worried that they would give her the eye-nose disease. Yuanyuan said that he has to come back fast so he wouldn't catch the disease, Cross promised he would come back soon.

Jie Yuan was jealous and Cross kissed her saying "Don't be jealous, I'll properly take care of you when I come back." he slapped her ass and she blushed before going with the rest and shooting him and seductive gaze.

Cross rubbed his nose at the tent in his shorts, he really should've 'released' before letting them go. Well, he knows for next time. He watched them go before flashing away when they were out of sight.

They might not know, but Cross has been watching all of them since they got at the Academy. All of their efforts to become strong and provide as much help as they could was all seen by him. He felt extremely warm in his heart, they were working extremely hard to help him and he appreciated it from the bottom of his heart, with girls like them by his side he could die happy.

A while later

Cross, Long Chen, and the others appeared at the battlefield and a middle-aged man said happily "Warriors from the Academy, welcome to the demon battlefield." Long Chen said quickly "We're just rookies. you should absolutely not come to welcome us in person." Cross grinned and said "Seriously, you should be taking it easy."

The man looked at Long Chen and Cross and smiled "I can't believe there's real soldiers in this class. It's the blessing of the Academy." Long Chen and Cross smiled and the man explained the dangers of the Demon Battlefield as well as the regions, kindly advising them to go to the safest region.

The group left and arrived at a chariot with fierce beasts pulling it. A giant Dragon looked at them and Cross glared at the dragon, it trembled and fell flat on it's stomach. Long Chen and Cross walked over it, going to their camp and settling in.

Long Chen talked strategy and everyone looked at Cross for his opinion. Cross laughed and said "What are you looking at me for? Little bro's formation is perfect but it doesn't matter unfortunately." Long Chen smiled and Luo Ning said "Big devil, quickly tell us why it doesn't matter."

Cross smiled and said "You're all afraid of the beasts that pull the carts, you're going to stay in formation against a group of them? Are you joking?" the disciples were all embarrassed and a bit angry, this was calling them cowards to their faces, who wouldn't be angry.

Long Chen waved and said "Anyway, let's go." Luo Ning snorted saying "Hmph! Big devil, watch me prove you wrong! If I don't kill the most today, I'll warm your bed tonight!" Cross rolled his eyes and said "I'll prepare red sheets then." Luo Ning blushed hard and Long Chen shook his head before they all left.

They arrived at a 3 star region, which was incredibly dangerous in the eyes of the disciples. But in Long Chen and Cross' eyes this was nothing.

Long Chen set up a platform and Cross jumped onto it as he said "Quickly give this King a bow, I'll show you how to shoot today." Long Chen chuckled, they agreed on this before. A disciple gave Cross his bow.

Cross plucked the string and his ears twitched as he said "Barely passable..." he aimed the bow and plucked the string 3 times, 3 beasts in the distance fell down right away. The archers were stunned, even Long Chen was impressed, this guy was pretty good!

Cross chuckled and said "Let me show you a secret technique!" he twisted the bow in a circle while drawing the bow into a full moon arc. He let go and a row of beasts in a line all fell like dominoes. The Archers were dazed and Long Chen said "What was that?" Cross threw the bow back and said "It doesn't have a name, I came up with it just now."

The disciples were numb, you came up with that just now? Are you god? Luo Ning shouted "Big devil, you're good at archery? Why don't you use a bow?" Cross pointed at his ears and said "You think these are fake? I'm naturally blessed with Divine Archery talent. I don't use a bow because it's not fierce at all, good for women to do."

The male archers froze and everybody looked at them, they turned their faces away in embarrassment. Long Chen burst out laughing and Cross said "Come quickly, you brats. I will teach you what archery is today."

Long Chen shouted "Warriors from the Academy, today is the day of our rise. The monsters in front of us are the ladder of our glory. Take out our weapons and let them shine. With our blood, we can witness our immortal youth. Let's go and kill them!" the disciples felt their blood boiling and charged out with their weapons, Long Chen shouted in dismay "Keep formation! For fuck sakes..."

The disciples went out to kill and Cross sat down with Long Chen and watched. He took out his gourd and started drinking, these disciples looked like they were injected with chicken blood, running around killing everything.

He shook his head and the monsters all died. Long Chen cleaned up the battlefield and pointed out their shortcomings before they moved far away to a new valley. Long Chen told them to get in formation before taking a pills and throwing it in the air.

A strange smell spread from the pill and Long Chen said "My pill will attract demons from thousands of miles away. Are you ready?" the earth started trembling and Long Chen added "This time you must kill quickly, or the whole army will fight for resources in Hell instead. Good luck~"

Cross laughed and they both watched from a high platform with the archers, who were shooting nonstop. Long Chen and Cross promised to teach them but they couldn't let a single disciple die.

An hour passed but the monsters increased instead of decreasing.

Luo Ning shouted "Big Devil, will die here!" Cross looked at her and said "Don't worry, you can warm my bed in Hell when I die. If anyone bullies you I'll send them to their next life." Long Chen chuckled and said "Practice is not a joke. Practice is to face death. If you are doomed not to be a strong man and die in the hands of the enemy in the future, I would rather you die here, at least with a trace of dignity."

The disciples paled and Long Chen added "There is no gain for nothing in this world. If you want to be a strong man, you must pay the price it deserves. In my eyes, all of you are a group of trash who eat and wait for death. In my world, all of you would have been dead under the knife of demons. You are so greedy for life and death. What are you talking about? How to get into the top 100 of the guild list? What are you talking about fighting with the Chu family? You'd better forget it. You don't even have the determination to become stronger. It's better to die here, so as not to die in the hands of Chu Yang."

Cross chuckled and said "En. You all want to be experts? What a joke. The little girl wants to warm my bed, I'm afraid you'll warm the demons' stomachs first." his tone turned commanding as he shouted "Fight! Even if your arms and legs are crippled, use your teeth! If you have no teeth, smash with your head! You want to destroy your enemies? You want to trample the world? You want to tear the sky with a single hand and make the rules? FIGHT! Even if you can't continue, you must continue!"

He roared "Even if the sky falls! Even if the world crumbles! You must continue! Even if you have to crawl through mountains of corpses and blood! This is what it means to be an Expert! You're all worthless trash! Prove me wrong! KILL!"

The entire group's eyes turned red and they continued, running on willpower alone. Long Chen gave Cross a thumbs up and Cross grinned, feeling itchy to fight as well.

After a while

Some disciples started to collapse and the others paled, if the formation broke they were all dead! Cross sighed and swung his wrist, a scythe came out and spun in a circle around the entire group of disciples, slaughtering the demons in a second before returning to Cross hand.

The disciples looked up, the sun was behind Cross' head and his face was shadowed over, only his black outline holding a scythe dripping with blood and glowing red eyes were seen.
