WHO IS THIS?

One fine morning Alexa and Imelda are in the super market getting an early morning snack so that Imelda doesn't go to school hungry because her mom had not had time to prepare when Alexa spots her mum in the same supermarket but at the opposite side of where she is with her daughter Imelda so she hurriedly grabs her daughter's hand to see themselves out .

Alexa's mom: God gracious,girl where are you going without greeting your elders.

Alexa: Ohhhh, mum , it's you , what are you doing here?

Alexa's mom: Well , what you came to do is what I have come to do as well but gauging from your expression am guessing you didn't expect to see me and are ofcourse rushing out somewhere.

Alexa: Right mom, you always know me too well . It's just that I am having an emergency surgery to do and can't wait.

Alexa's mom: Oh that's fine baby but it's not good to always stress yourself that much especially when we both know that Incase you are not there anymore still the hospital will run so take care of your health.

All this is being said but Alexa's mom hasn't yet noticed Imelda because she is hidden by Alexa behind her so as not to be noticed and once all is said and done, Alexa bids her mother farewell and starts to walk away.

Alexa's mom: STOP ALEXA!!

Alexa: Any problem mom?

Alexa's mom: Yes, a tinnnyy problem.

Alexa: What is it?

Alexa's mom: Who is that you are holding onto so tight?

Alexa: You mean the shopping basket?

Alexa's mom: Cut the crap Alexa, I mean her.( Alexa's mom points at the little Imelda)

Alexa: She is my neighbor's daughter.

Alexa's mom: Ohhh that so sweet but Alexa you surely know to lie better than this come-on.

Alexa: It's the truth mom, why do you always think so negatively about me ?

Alexa's mom: No, no , no don't even go there baby it's just a simple question which doesn't need an essay revised speech to it.

Besides since you chose this profession of yours I can testify that you are still the same sweet daughter I gave birth to but this time a little more cunning.

Alexa: So what you are saying is that I was dense before?

Alexa's mom: You were more of an open book but because of being a doctor I guess you learned to employ the tactic of purposeful lying where you tell lies to make another person happy amidst you knowing that this person is to face a very traumatizing fate especially the patients of course but as you can see am not one of your patients, so spill .

Alexa: Okay, she is my daughter Imelda .

Alexa's mom: DAUGHTER!! what is that supposed to mean Alexa ? You want to tell me that you already fooled around with some guy right under our nose and that to at a young age and got away with it seriously Alexa? I am so disappointed in you right now.

Alexa: Mom! that's not it , come and we tallk about this matter in private without the child being in the know.

Alexa instructs her daughter to continue looking around the supermarket for something else she would like with the guidance of a supermarket attendant as she explains everything to her mom and by the time they are done with their adult talk , Imelda has made a good friend with lots of desirable presents meant to be paid for .

Alexa: Hey baby , get over here and meet with your grandma.

Imelda: Mummy, is that her name?

Alexa: Yes, dia for now you call her that.

Imelda: Nice meeting you grand ma.

Alexa's mom: Nice meeting you too baby, how are you?

Imelda: I am fine. Grandma, you look so beautiful.

Alexa's mom: Ohhh really, wow, you are so much nicer than your mom , I like you already.

Imelda: Me too.

Mummy!, is it okay if I go with grand ma and not go to school today?

Alexa: Ohhh really, you are now trying to avoid schooling wow , as you have started quite early to be independent.

Alexa's mom: (laughs) she hasn't said she will never go back to school it's just for today right Imelda?

Imelda: Right.

Alexa: We are running late maybe I will bring her to you after school today .

Alexa's mom: Okay I can't wait to spend some time with my grand daughter.

Imelda: Grandma, mummy is usually busy I might come with my daddy.

Alexa's mom: DADDY!! what daddy, baby?

Imelda: My daddy!!!

Alexa: Oh ,shit! can't you just keep your mouth quiet for once Imelda, who asked you?

Alexa's mom: So there is more gist that am unaware of , so okay we are done with the child scandal and now you have a man too who I am unaware of .

Alexa: Okay, mom, yes I have a man and he is the love of my life and we have been married coming close to a year now already who I parent my daughter with.

Alexa's mom: I realize now that we have grown so apart in life so do you mind introducing him to me child?

Alexa: No I don't.

Alexa's mom: When can someone see him because I really want to get to know all those people that are part of my child's life .

Alexa: I will bring him today so that he meets up with Dad as well to be on a safer side .

Alexa's mom: Ohhhhh My God! your father doesn't know as well, I can't wait to see the look and the drama that is more likely to happen in my house after this breaking news Alexa: Mom, please don't tell him I want to do the honor of ripping his heart from his rib cage.

Alexa's mom: Oh, so you are enjoying this ! now you want to get my husband dying of a heart attack because of your profound drama , wait and watch who among all of us will get the shock of their lives.

Alexa: What do you mean by that?

Alexa's mom: Aren't you late already? take my grandchild to school before we see her retaking nursery.
