COMPANY CHANGES

After the party, everyone goes back to their homes and the next day in the morning a conference call is made by Santana and on the call is Diana, Alfred and Mac White and the essence of it is to ask all three people to be available at 9:00 am because there is an important announcement Santana wants to make and that too infront of other shareholders of which the assignment of telling the shareholders is left for Mac White to do.Once the call is ended, Diana and Alfred both prepare so as to catch up with the meeting that will be held at HL main offices.

Diana dresses herself in a black pantsuit a black shirt and a black jacket and makes her hair into a neat ponytail with silver earrings , bracelet and black high heel shoes with black sunglasses to protect her eyes from the scorching sun with a Louis Vuitton sachel bag to complete the official look .

Where as Alfred dresses himself in a black two piece suit ,an organised quiff for a hair cut and an Italian oxford loafer shoe with his sun glasses as well. Each of these two people gets into their own Maserati and head out to the company where they are welcomed by Sebastian and taken to the conference room.

Shortly after their arrival, a meeting is held but this time it is chaired by Santana with the help of Mac White.

Santana : I am so happy for each of you honoring this short notice meeting.

Everyone: You are welcome.

Santana: The reason for this meeting is to let you know that from today forth , my shares will be transferred to my daughter Diana here and she will be your new shareholder and for everything in relation to this business moving to the next level will have to be discussed with her first as we have been doing.

Shareholder one: I totally disagree with her being the major consultant regarding business,much as she is your daughter, I feel she cannot make these formal decisions

without our help.

Santana: HL group of companies has become so recognized and has become a very big empire for the last twenty two years despite having me as the last person to make the last decisions about it's progress without being well versed with some aspects.What makes you think that my off spring can not pull it off.

Share holder one: I still feel like she is not yet ready because she is just nineteen years old and yet she has no sense of purpose yet?

Diana: How dare you be so mean and disrespectful to me?

Santana: Let me handle this Diana , stay out of it.

Shareholder one: Right now you should know Santana that am speaking for the rest of the shareholders here and we feel that this is not right at all.

Santana: I have noticed you are a very problematic person, always talking for the rest without even giving other people room to show you their worth, but I will still insist I am not going back on my word.

Shareholder two: May I know the reason for your sudden change.

Santana: I feel like it is only right for me to give my daughter a chance to learn this world of business as well to prepare her for tomorrow.

Mac White: Since this is your decision,I have another suggestion that I feel everyone can agree to.

Santana: Which is?

MacWhite: I am also going to step down from these official duties.

All people are shocked in including Santana and so Santana asks Mac White to add more flesh to his decision.

MacWhite: I expected this reaction, but the reason for this decision of mine is because I am growing old and I want to expose my son as well to this business so he knows how to run it tomorrow.

Shareholder three: Ridiculous, then where do you leave us in all of this?

Mac White: I am going to personally train my son along with his wife Diana some official duties so as to keep HL's legacy intact.

Santana: Brilliant idea but after they learn, where does this leave you ?

Mac White: Well, I shall just remain as an advisor to the CEO and also go do my other businesses like farming

Shareholder one: I disagree with this decision of yours, do you think the business is hereditary?

Mac White: Well if it is not any better decisions ?

Shareholder one: How about we make an job advertisement for the job post of CEO and get applications so that we get people with other kept abilities on board competing with these new profound leaders and see who stands the chance to take on this position.

Santana: I disagree because I can not let my hard earned money come in contact with un trusted people who are not family at most.

Mac White: So what is your suggestion then?

Santana: I prefer that your son Alfred White take on the responsibility of being the CEO of HL group of companies,otherwise I remove my funding.

Mac White: As our largest shareholder, I shall do as you request .So each and every one happy or unhappy, please welcome the new members on board Mr .and Mrs . White .

Diana: Thank you . I am so happy to be part of this great team and hope to make each and every one of you proud.

Alfred: Thank you so much for the trust you have bestowed upon me and do hope for better interactions in the future.

The meeting is dismissed and Diana goes to meet up with her father so does Alfred .

Dialogue between Santana Lands and Diana Lands.

Diana: Good afternoon Sir!

Santana: Good afternoon to you too madam! . Are these the new titles we are to address each other.

Diana: Basing on this situation we are in, a very big YES.

Santana: Tell me , what is the problem, you can not have moved that fast just to stand here and greet me, what is the problem?

Diana: I am not interested in being a shareholder or a top decision maker because this is not my world, why didn't you just hand me the responsibility of the clubs and brothels?

Santana: Oh! that, I actually was waiting for this moment all my life.

Diana: To tie me down in an unwanted place!

Santana: Not that my dear but to reduce on the workload I always carried especially this formal work, it was always boring me.

Diana: But you always enjoyed the fruits of the business.

Santana: I did but I felt It was not like me so I decided to involve you in it so you get some sense of purpose as well as direction and also learn etiquette of living among people.

Diana: So this is escapism, Wow! .What if I run your business down.

Santana: So be it ! at least my name shall always sound on people's lips for always doing the most un imaginable, unique things, don't you think so?

Diana: You always shock me dad, you always do!

Santana: I trust you Diana, believe me or not everything I do is for you and your tomorrow, that is why I know the business is going to become better with your reign.

Diana: Thanks dad , maybe it is time for a change , let us see where we go with this new journey.

Santana: Now that this is settled , prepare yourself for what is coming.

Diana: Okay , have a nice day Old man!

Santana Laughs at his daughter's remark and sets off to his destination.

At Mac Whites Office

Alfred: Dad, can we talk?

Mac White: Yes please son.

Alfred: I am not interested in working as a CEO in this company of yours.

Mac White: Reason?

Alfred: I am already running my company AW so I do not want to add Holding and Land groups of companies to my work load .

Mac White: Well you have no choice but to start processing it in your head that you are the new CEO of HL , besides you did not protest while in the meeting.

Alfred: In my opinion, your still strong enough to handle the company, remember I only came here to launch my AW line of clothing which is doing so well in other countries.

Mac White: I had never told you this but I knew I would have to tell you this one time.Son, you are one of the smartest, wisest person I have met and if there is anyone I trust in anything is you .

Alfred: Why?

Mac White: It is because you are so decisive in life take an example, at just 21 years, you are running a clothing line company AW and it is already a successful business in eight countries with ours inclusive moreover as a ghost CEO because you are scared of being judged , that is something i had never thought of doing at my tender age but you have and now you have your own home and are getting better at every step of the way that is why I gave this opportunity to you so you can shine in my business as well and let the whole world know Whites will always be White.

Alfred: Such a long speech,it seems you prepared all the way. By the way dad, did you get this from the novel as well?

Mac White laughs out loud and says "you are really some thing else son, this is a serious conversation we have been having right here and you had to make it look funny."

Alfred White: Okay, let us see what our future has in store for the Whites, I greatly hope I make you very proud.

Mac White calls his personal assistant and tells him to inform the whole team of HL group of companies to come for a meeting the next day with all employees at the company hall.
