"THE LAND OF VICTORS" is a collection of novels by ElderCrow that takes place in a world that differs slightly from our own. Even though the majority of the stories are of the historical genre yet this particular section "THE EMERGENCE OF ANNHILATOR" centers on warfare since the story's protagonist is a ruthless warrior who is so powerful that he has conquered several kingdoms for his nation., The characters are the series' foundation. there are a few that you won't forget once you've finished reading them. The Entrance into Taivile

The chariots traveled the entire distance to Taivile while passing through Galemire while honoring the emperor and their exemplary empire. The loud noises of people yelling and applauding could be heard in Taivile even while the chariots were half a mile away, but they were quiet until they reached Taivile.

They were disappointed when their entry permit was refused since they had expected the guards to open the gate for the chariots to pass when they arrived at Taivile. One of the soldiers approached the driver of the leading chariot and said, "You cannot pass from here right now because Taivile is in a state of alarm."

However, the driver pleaded, saying, "We are already running late for setranos; if delay any longer, the passengers won't be happy."

"I know you pass through here every day, but there's an emergency going on Taivile right now. There are a bunch of robbers who have killed many travelers and robbed many more, and they're hiding in Taivile. So, until they get caught, you cannot pass through Taivile. And because higher authorities have ordered this lockdown, we won't allow you to violate their orders." said the guard in an imposing manner.

The charioteers became tensed upon hearing this, but all of a sudden one of them asked, "Who ordered the lockdown?"

The guard looked at the other guards like he was asking for consent, to which the other guards appeared to give their approval by nodding their heads. the guard answered the charioteers, "The Taivile Town Inspector Federiko Baldi,"

"I want to meet him, right away," the leading charioteer retorted. The guard gave a wary glance, went back for discussion with the other guards, and entered the town, opening the gate just enough for one man to pass.

While the passengers began conversing amongst them, the leading charioteer waited patiently for the inspector.

Amid the chats, Haryx in a frazzled way stated, "I'm worried; I don't want to miss my chance to find occupation and settle in Setranos."

"Don't worry, we will be late by just half an hour if my calculation is correct because the charioteers are doing a great job making up for the delay by driving faster probably that's why we crossed Mrizton so quickly," Crawforde reassures him.

"But what if we have to wait here for several hours?" asks Esskag.

"Yes, that can be worrying, because I have only estimated the time excluding the time we will spend here." crawforde responds

"I hope they let us pass in the next half an hour, I'm getting bored sitting here," haryx replied.

Esskag adds "Yes, me too. Why don't you continue with the War of Kedovell story? You merely began it and abandoned it."

"Yes, I completely forgot about it. Can you proceed, please?" haryx asks.

Humorously, Crawforde remarked, "Oh where was I?"

"You forgot? Seriously? You were talking about deprosile," haryx said with a disappointed look on his face.

"Oh yes, I do recall, so while there was no empire called Deproseth at that time, there was a kingdom called deprosile ruled by the great Blackzatrix that was neither too small nor too large. There is a different story about it, but if we discuss the War of Kedovell, we learn how the Deprosile Kingdom evolved into the Deproseth Empire and how the War of Kedovell played a very significant role in it. Lord Zatrix discovered the ancient Traven Empire when he was conquering numerous nations and kingdoms to establish Deproseth., the Traven Empire was one of the most powerful at the time, but there was an incident that shocked the entire human population. An unimaginable incident happened that no one could have predicted, not even the most brilliant lawmakers." crawforde said. and paused for a while.

Esskag broke the stillness by asking, "What incident".

Taking a deep breath, Crawforde responds, "The brilliant monarch was pleased with the Traven empire and he wanted it now even though it was not even feasible for growing empires like the young deproseth to imagine conquering the enormous Traven but even the strongest empires could not stand Blackzatrix's will and intellect so lord Blackzatrix started forming strategies to defeat the traven and finally the day before the chaos came, it was the last day of Traven's freedom."

Everyone in the chariot listened meticulously and very closely with their awareness entirely focused.

Crawforde continued "Finally, it was night, and both empires filled their hearts with bravery and fearlessness. The last day arrived, and it was time to put all those tactics and strategies into action. The day had gone with deprosilians preparing for battle and the travenians dwelling in dread. With the assistance of generals Xander Wolfmoon, Eranos Knodalon, captains Baronet Walterius, Vicar Tybaut, Chancellor Ernaut, Knight Diccon, and many other outstanding military, political, and religious figures, King Blackzatrix created a vast army that could strike fear into the hearts of any adversary simply by the sound of their footsteps, they charged towards Skipalon one of the most dazzling and popular towns in all of Traven. instead of the massive Travenian force, they had anticipated seeing they saw something completely different which was not expected by anyone When they arrived, they observed something that left them in a state of profound shock. they saw--"

"The town inspector has arrived; you may speak to him," a guard said, cutting him off in mid-story.

Everyone had their eyes on the town entrance in an attempt to catch a glimpse of the inspector, but instead, they saw a dozen guards coming out, after a while of waiting the officer arrived followed by even more guards with him.

The chief charioteer got up from the seat he was waiting on and walked up to the inspector, his expression displaying irritation.

"It's wonderful to meet you, I'm Federiko Baldi, the inspector and substitute in charge of the taivile" the officer added with a smile. He had a tiny mustache and was a well-dressed man wearing the reserved inspectors' official deprosethic police uniform while outstretching his hands for a firm handshake.

"I'm Defrur Hornbelt, the senior charioteer of the deprosethic transport agency horse-chariot department," the charioteer said as he accepted the handshake.

The inspector asked in a kind manner, "How can I help you, Mr. Hornbelt?"

"As you can see, your guards are preventing us from traveling along our usual route, therefore we are appealing to you to allow us to pass through the town where our passengers have been waiting for a long time," said Defrur in a pleading manner.

"I understand your dilemma, Mr. Hornbelt, but we need certain information and identity confirmation before we can authorize you," the officer remarked after a few seconds of analysis.

Defrur went to a nearby standing charioteer and discussed something returned and said, "We have all of the required details but we don't carry identity proof as we are registered in all places we pass through to reach the destination,"

"Who keeps the transport records of Taivile?" the concerned-looking inspector inquired of a guard.

The guard answered bafflingly, "Sir, I'm not sure, but as far as I know all kinds of records are kept in Mayor's office under Mayor's supervision."

The officer instructed the guard "The mayor isn't in the town as he departed to setranos yesterday morning, go bring the transit documents from the mayor's office."

"Then who should I approach for assistance if the mayor is not here right now?" asked the guard.

"The mayor's assistants and associates must be there," said the officer.

The guard said, "It's now clear, sir." The officer reacted bitterly, "Then stop staring at me and go fetch the documents."

That guard departs for the mayor's office with the other two.

"Would you mind giving me the information? Mr. Hornbelt," the officer stated, after regaining his calm.

Defrur handed the inspector several detailed documents about the journey while saying, "We got eleven chariots, seven for men, the rest for women and children, and only four of them are from Mrizton."

The officer responds, "Everything's looking good but I want to check your chariots if you allow us."

Defrur points toward the chariots without saying anything.

the officer approached the chariot with a few guards. They began thoroughly inspecting the horses, luggage, and other items after checking he came back to defrur and said "Everything's clear. The only thing that remains is the identity proof after the guards bring the records you can pass taivile,"

"He finished the inspection very quickly," haryx replied to him.

Esskag responds, "Maybe that's why he is called inspector," and begins laughing at his own joke, but haryx didn't find it humorous.

The guards showed up with some documents.

The officer was handed a bundle of documents by the guards when they arrived, and he immediately began to read through it. He grinned as he came across a particular page in the bundle and stated, "Looks like we got it,"

"So can we go now?" defrur questioned.

the officer said, "Wait before you go, I want to confirm that your security is adequate. so I will send some guards with you."

The officer went to the guard and explained something before the guards opened the gate,

Defrur hurriedly headed to his chariot, and the charioteers all prepared themselves. After one of them blew a conch shell, the head charioteer began to lead, and the other charioteers soon followed.

they entered the gate and soon became aware that soldiers riding horses were trailing them to ensure their safety.

They accelerated because they were already running late for Setranos, and the guards accelerated as well to keep up with them.
