(chapter 6) Far Away.

"My hand was wounded the blood was dripping and I saw a hole where my blood was sinking I stepped aside but it was too late, the blood already touched her body. It was your friend". As Sophie heard it she stood up and started shouting on Leo, "how to get Lindy back? Tell me, I won't spare your life! It was because of you, you sent her there". She leaned on her knees, crying hardly. Elena held her hand and consoled her, "It's gonna be okay, we will find a way. Lindy will come back. I promise". Tears were rolling down her eyes but she tried to stop and took Sophie. They went to the park. "Hey! What happened? Do you know where is Lindy?" said Josh anxiously. "We know where she is but.." said Elena. "Great!" said Josh. "but she is far away from this world" said Elena grievously. Then she told him the whole story. He was so disappointed by all this but no one could help. "I was there but I couldn't help her, she is all alone there. How could she go so far!" cried Sophie. "I swear, I will kill him (Leo) and won't think even once" said Sophie tensely. "Nothing's gonna happen to Lindy, she is all fine. We are gonna find her, we will do everything we can" said Josh. They all were helpless. Elena asked Sophie to take some rest as she must be tired searching for Lindy all day. All the time, the only thought that came to Sophie's mind was that she didn't even imagine how far her sister would go. The other world. It was evening, Sophie went to sleep but she couldn't, she was just crying. While on the other side, Lindy still couldn't realize that how did the tornado occur again. She went to the clothing store for some clothes, there were all old-fashioned clothes. "I never knew, 1974's brands had no fasion sense, I mean what kind shirt is this?" said Lindy. She took some clothes and went far away from the mansion. She walked some miles more. "why is there no exit to the normal world? There must be a way" said Lindy. She was tired so she sat near a park. She looked around and saw a river flowing, she followed the river and reached near the sea. "oh wow, I'v never swimmed in a sea because all the insects and fishes but I guess, this time there is nothing so I will enjoy it". She jumped in the sea. She was swimming for 2 hours, suddenly her foot striked in to something. She tried to feel it again, it was something hard. She went under water, she saw something of black color. As she tried to pick, it went farther because when she moved, the water waved. She followed it and tried to hold it. After some time, she finally took it. She realized, she had gone far from the nearest sea waves. She quickly went near and got out of the sea, she learned the object was a pure shiny black moonstone. She liked it very much. "I've never seen a black moonstone, it must be precious" said Lindy. While, Sophie was trying to think about her sister, her cell phone started to ring. She took it and realized it was her Mom face-timing her. "Oh no Mom, what should I do? I'm gonna sleep, no, no, that's a bad idea! I should just attend it" she said and attended the call. "Hey Sophie! How's it going? Are you both alright?" asked her Mom. "um yeah.. Mom we are fine. Ho.. How 'bout you?" asked Sophie. "Oh honey, we are fine too. Tomorrow, it's your Dad's business class again and I hope it won't be boring just like the previous one" laughed her Mom. "oh! So good luck, I hope you won't get bored" smiled Sophie. "hey why you look so dim? Is everything alright? Is Lindy fine?" asked her Mom curiously. "Yeah Mom.. Um yeah.. everything is fine, Lin is.. um fine too" said Sophie reluctantly. "Well, I called you, I wanted to see you but there's another thing, that we need to talk about" said her Mom. "What is it?" Sophie asked in instance. "Today, I got a call from your professor and he complained that you both are not going to college since few days. May I ask you, why?" asked her her Mom. "oh! Sorry um.. It was just um I'm sorry Mom, I didn't tell you but I have a severe fever so she said that she will take care of me instead. But nothing to worry! I'm slowly getting alright. I will get well soon" said Sophie. Her Mom felt said and said, " Oh, get well soon, I'm sorry to accuse you. I hope you get alright. But why didn't you send your application to your college?". Sophie lied to her Mom that she forgot. "well in that case, I have a surprise for you. We are coming soon. Your dad's business is gonna end soon and we are deciding to take the quickest flight" said her Mom excitedly. "no, um I mean.. You know, you shouldn't worry about us, we are fine. We will get back to college too. We are missing you but you shouldn't miss the fun. I want you to enjoy, we will be happy" said Sophie. She felt so bad but she couldn't find anything else to say. But she just wanted to hide about everything happened. She further asked, "so tell me, what's your next destiny?". "well, tomorrow after the class we will go to the sports stadium for the match with your Dad's business class. We are really enjoying it but you know, it's actually, we are missing you. That's why!" said her Mom. She couldn't stop her Mom, realizing it would really be visible. Her Mom asked about Lindy, Sophie lied that she was sleeping. After the goodbye, she hung up the call. She cried so hard, that how she got stuck in it. She texted her friends to ask if they find out anything or just clues but they got nothing. The night, they went down exploring around the woods. The output was nothing. After she got disappointed and went back to her home. She got a text, it was her Mom. "hey honey, we've enjoyed alot and we are truly missing you both so we've decided to come home soon, we have lived far from you for so many weeks, your Mom and Dad are missinig you so we will come home on wednesday". She realized it was after 2 days.
