11 Chapter eleven- Curtis sure is something?

" how is it? Living with them?" Her eyes look at me curiously as we continue our walk to my future husband number two. " it's peaceful to be with someone you can let your guard down I personally don't know how I would survive in this world if not for Quinn finding me and Harvey such a sweet considering man he is" I smiled gently as I think about the past weeks so much has happened I wonder has a month already passed for me? "I'm glad Ares you found so much happiness in a situation I can't help but feel bleak in you know I envy you" her shoulders tremble abit she's so small next to me and once again I am reminded she's only a little girl this world is going to be cruel on her, but she'll survive. Reaching up to the clinic's entrance I see the door swung wide open as a cheerful smile greets me. "Ares please come in what do you need my lovely mate~!" Tail swaying back and forth as he leans towards me purring into my embrace as I gently hug him I sigh in content. "Harvey I've come to tell you I'll be back in a few minutes I wish to explore with Bai Qing Qing for a bit" he looks a bit saddened when I left him leaving me with small kisses on my face before me and Qing Qing takes off.

It's been about five minutes now as me and Bai Qing Qing continue exploring the vegetation near the village I see her looking at many plants becoming more familiar with the lands. I began to wonder when the drama would happen I've began missing my mates I wish I didn't have to leave Harvey too soon after I visited him, but I didn't want to make a mess of the schedule date when shit hits the fan. Qing Qing talks to me all hyper about the fruits she's holding as we start to walk up a little hill and I'm just nodding when appropriate considering she's been talking in circles and I've long been bored of this conversation. "He's name is Quinn and yes it was willingly I wanted him as my mate" he looks thoughtful then he tilts he's head up no doubt with his superior eye sight looking at Qing Qing. " I'll help you out of this cave, so you may reunite with the other female though only if you comply to one of my requests" He's eyes then hold a calculated glint at that moment I didn't know what to expect I froze He's stare was undeniably scary. "I originally wanted a mate that only belongs to myself, but it's hard finding a mate who's willing to belong to a snake beast man in fact it's unheard about, but you not only allowed a snake Beastmen to be your mate, but you also care for him" he moves closer to me then. I'm not proud to admit it but I held my breath the moment he's right hand reached out towards me. He tucked a lose strand of hair behind my left ear as his head leans down he whispers near that ear. "Ares! Are you sure everything is okay do you see a way out yet?" It was only then I was able to grasp reality and take hold of my body again once I heard Qing Qing voice.
