Chapter eight- Our growing affection
The village wasn't exactly welcoming of Quinn, but true to he's word Parker stood up for us. The stares and whispers were annoying, but what can you say predigest is strong here in the beast world. Finally in a cozy little hut I see Qing looking around eyes filled with curiosity. Parker speaks up and let's us know this is a abandon hut the reason why? Well they decided to move to the beast city. The hut though abandon is left in good shape just needs some cleaning. Honestly I'm just glad we were able to stay in the village and on top of that be able to have a roof under myself and Quinn's head. Though us staying came with a price, and what may that price be well to put it simply I must accept a mate in this village. When I first heard I was taken aback but not surprised an image quickly filled my mind a slender male with eyes a crystal blue along with sun kissed golden hair. I knew who in this village I would want as a mate immediately. How should I approach this subject though? Well I wouldn't exactly have to worry how considering the chef in this village gave me a wonderful reason why I should. But Quinn I can't let him feel unlove or unwanted I refuse to with my entire being. Though it would need to happen quick me meeting Harvey before he falls for her. "Parker is there someone here that takes care of the sick or injured?" I find a spot to sit down motioning for Quinn to be beside me it doesn't take long for him. Smiling happily as he lays he's head on my shoulder arms circling my waist. " Yes their is he's name is Harvey he actually lives quite near you guys he's hut is only a couple of walks past y'all's place" he then asks me the reason why. Threading my fingernails thru Quinn's beautiful white silky hair I answered honestly. " well since I need a mate for me and Quinn to be able to stay I was wondering about finding someone who knows about medical herbs I think that would be a wonderful addition to our family Quinn how about you?" I feel him take a deep breath as he's eyes still remain close from he's relaxed position on me arms circling around me more as he moves me on he's lap. Nuzzling he's head on my shoulder I feel he's breath tickle my neck. " If it is what you desire my love then you shall have it" unwrapping he's left arm from my waist now only he's right keeping me caged. Goosebumps erupt as his slender finger nails travel down my back up towards my neck till it reaches my hair feeling him grip my strains gently as it gives him a full view of my neck. Taking a deep breath I fail to remember our guests as he kisses my neck. My right hand immediately travels to he's neck my left on top of he's right arm keeping me cage. I feel he's soft hiss no doubt he smells my arousal.
Though I quickly felt like a bucket of ice cold water hit me as soon as I heard her. " ahhhh what are you doing?!!!" What do you think Im doing idiot! Looking at her direction I see her put both hands up trying to block her vision. Nice effort it would surely work if she didn't spread her fingers as her eyes continue looking our way. Parker just stands there also but he's eyes are looking at Qing as if fantasizing one day it will be them doing that instead. I notice quickly how my seductress of a husband smirks. My heart only swells in affection for him oh how I love him. " well dear Qing when you have a husband things like this is very common my dear" I wink at her as I see her face blush a redder color. Turning my head to Quinn I open my mouth only for him to speak first before I could even utter a syllable. " Yes my love we can find this Harvey guy, but our stay will not be long for I believe me and you still have some unfinished business my little mate~" eyes widening I can only laugh ah he already knows me so well~!
Parker eventually gets the hint and says he's goodbye as well as Qing as they both leave no doubt to head to he's hut. Seeing them walk away I suddenly remember how Qing seems to be walking fine could it be that also changed? It makes sense though before she fell I soften her landing. But I didn't soften her first fall I saw damn it this is so confusing! Okay time to change my mindset I'm quite literally am gonna try and acquire another mate this time it's someone I've read about before though he didn't have a lot of screen time I still have a feel of him. Falling out of my thoughts as I feel a hand slither it's way in mine a smile can only grace my lips as I see him. "You ready?" I question nervously. " As I said my dear whatever you desire you shall have it if he is what you want I will support your decision" feeling my eyes tear up I can only hug him towards me tightly. " I love you so much whatever did I do in my life to find you?" Hearing he's laugh filled with nothing but joy free of any burdens. He tilts my chin up eyes filled with wonderment. " No the question is what did I ever do to deserve a beautiful mate not only in the outside but inside as well?" Chuckling as I break away from the hug. I continue holding he's hand as we both head to Harvey's place. It doesn't take us long to arrive right when I raise my hand to knock on the door it immediately opened. Oh right forgot heighten scents he definitely knew we were here. As soon as my eyes connected with he's beautiful blue eyes I just knew I will definitely court him if I have too. Because I refuse to let him go to Qing's side. Knowing she will never look he's way he doesn't deserve that kinda love he deserves someone who will actually love him and accept him for who he is.
