Let's Go Home, Katherine!

Katherine immediately snapped out of her thoughts when she heard Christine's words once again.

Had that woman just accused her of doing something she shouldn't have done?

Well, killing witches from their own family shouldn't be done because it was against family rules, but still she wouldn't have done it if they didn't attack her first.

"I'm just repaying your witch who attacked me with murderous intent," Katherine said coldly and glared at Christine who looked like she was keeping their distance.

Katherine could see the look on Christine's face, which looked surprised before finally turning to look at Leonardo who was standing behind her.

"Did you really do that, Leonardo?" Christine asked sharply.

"Suddenly there was a vampire who attacked my other colleagues, I didn't know it was Lady Katherine," said the man, bowing his head.

Katherine fell silent at the words of the two people in front of her.

What nonsense did the two of them say?

Katherine would probably believe they didn't know her when they suddenly attacked her, who was leaning against a tree, but Katherine had warned them to get out immediately because she wanted to talk to them.

"Do I look so different, huh?" thought Katherine, pondering the possibility. Well, she's been on the run for three years and her appearance could change.

Christine looks different after three years she hasn't seen her, right?

Katherine shook her head again. Nothing has changed from her since three years ago, she is still beautiful and attractive!

"You ... killed a witch from our family?"

Once again Katherine's mind was disturbed by Christine's startled tone of voice, the woman even covered her mouth with one hand to show her surprise.

"Don't they deserve it for daring to attack me?" said Katherine coldly.

She sensed something was off at the moment, but she didn't know what it was because she didn't have time to think about it.

"Ahh, well, it was accidental, okay?" said Katherine nonchalantly.

"Can you take me to meet mother? There's something I want to talk about," she continued before Christine continued to discuss this topic and burst into tears.

Unlike herself, who had always seemed indifferent and acted as she pleased, Christine was more gentle and cheerful. Her nature doesn't even look like a vampire who is usually rude and fierce.

Katherine even remembers how Christine cried when she went out to eat and drink fresh human blood for the first time. The little girl cried silently for several days feeling guilty.

"Looks like she's still the same girl," Katherine thought, smiling to herself, seeing that nothing had changed in Christine.

She originally wanted to ask the woman to run away with her because she thought Christine was too good to live in their family, but in the end she didn't ask her.

The woman hasn't even given a witch for herself, and there is no chance for Katherine to run away from her family other than that night, when her mother is out to meet other vampire families.

"Are you coming back home, Katherine?" Christine asked in a cheerful voice, clapping her hands together.

"Well ... that ..." Katherine looked troubled when she wanted to reply to Christine's question, who was now looking at her with a glowing gaze and delight. Katherine was unable to say that she wanted to cut ties with her family.

"Good then, let's go. Leonardo, prepare a portal to take us home, it looks like the sun will soon rise," said Christine in a commanding tone.

Leonardo nodded and began to chant the spell.

Seeing the witch behind Christine open his mouth to cast a spell, Katherine returned to her guard. She trusted Christine who would not hurt her at this time because other than that woman was too kind, the vampire would not inflict serious wounds on her.

However, it was different from the witch behind Christine. The witch was able to cut off her head all of a sudden and Katherine was not confident she had managed to dodge it when they were so close.

Therefore, Katherine decided to remain standing in her place while maintaining her vampire form even though Christine had not shown her vampire form.

Christine, who saw Katherine not move from her position even though a magic circle had appeared in front of them, stared at Leonardo.

"Don't attack Katherine. It's an order, Leonardo Snape!" Christine said in a sharp tone.

Leonardo who was standing behind him immediately lowered his head and crossed his arms over his chest to show his obedience.

"Didn't he intend to attack me from the start, did he?" thought Katherine, not hearing the witch's heart beat at all, signaling that he agreed to his owner's orders.

Katherine felt it was a little strange because the witch who had been attacking her had been carrying out attacks with the aim of killing, but now the witch behind Christine seemed to have no intention of attacking her because of Christine's arrival.

Seeing that the danger was gone, Katherine returned to her human form. Besides, she preferred her human form to her vampire form. The reason is only simple, it is because she looks prettier!

"Let's go home, Katherine," Christine said with a smile and walked over to the magic circle that Leonardo had previously made.

Katherine nodded when she heard this. She had to go to her house immediately and finish her business before her husband woke up. So without thinking Katherine drew closer to the magic circle.

After all, that witch had already been given orders not to attack her, right?

"This ..." Katherine suddenly felt a drowsiness attack her body after she entered the magic circle. She tried to stay awake by returning to her vampire form who is stronger, but once she wanted to step out of the magic circle, it was as if there was a barrier blocking her way out.

"Christine… are you okay…" Katherine turned and glanced at Christine to see if she was okay because the magic attack was so strong that she had a hard time keeping her consciousness.

After all, Christine had always looked weak.

Katherine sighed with relief when she saw Christine who looked fine, but the next second Katherine was completely taken aback when she saw Christine standing outside the magic circle.

"Ha ha ha ha! You idiot, I didn't think you'd be this stupid, Katherine!" Christine said, laughing sarcastically at how Katherine had been foolishly approaching the direction of Leonardo's magic.

"You ... how come ..." said Katherine, trying to keep her consciousness. Christine had told the witch not to attack her.

"Wow, I have to admit that you are great enough to have survived this long. Well, it looks like you are wondering why you could be attacked by my witch," said Christine with a sarcastic smile.

"He's not…"

"Ah, no, Leonardo is my witch. Leonardo Ridcully, I didn't expect you to be fooled like this, hahahaha, "said Christine, who laughed sarcastically when she saw Katherine's gaze on her.

"Sweet dreams, Katherine."

Those were the last words Katherine heard before she finally lost consciousness.
