A girl Evelyn Blackwood who's 21 comes to the City from the village. She is a fashion designer who belonged to a rich family. Her dad married her mother and inherited the business of her maternal grandfather. He later cheated on her mother. Her mother being a woman of principals valued her self respect and left. She was abandoned by her family. She had to raise Evelyn all alone. Evelyn came back to the city after 20 years to seek revenge from her father. She crosses path with Cole Garrison. He was everything Evelyn hated in a man. He was arrogant and egoistic rich brat who wouldn't take no for an answer. He had a reputation of being a player too. He takes interest in Evelyn the very first moment he lays eye on her and decides to break her walls and make her his. In a sick game of fate they find themselves in a accidental marriage. Upset Tycoon!
It was a normal Tuesday. Everyone was minding their business peacefully. But business tycoon Augustus Wellesley was in utter stress. His staff who were standing in front of him were shivering because their boss was any very bad mood! Augustus Wellesley yelled "How is this even possible!!!" His secretary wiped his sweat and gulped. "How could the new company get the tender from one of OUR regular customers instead of us!!" He yelled at the top of his lungs. He just lost a deal with one of his old customer. The customer gave the deal to someone else this time.
Augustus Wellesley looked at his secretary with a glare and said in a threatening tone "Listen here Mr. Ross! If you feel to find the name of the person who got our tender make sure to pack your stuff because you would not get a months notice!" Listening to this threat, the face of Secretary Lucas Ross went pale. He knew that if Augustus Wellesley is saying something he is absolutely going to do it. So he quickly said "I am getting their details right away boss!" Augustus Wellesley looked at everyone with narrow eyes and said "Now get lost!"
His staff did not wait for a single second. The almost ran out of his office to not face his wrath anymore. On the other side, a Young girl who was not more than 21 years old was lost in her thoughts. Her name is Evelyn Blackwood. She was a fashion designer who was going to start her own company called EL Blackwood where E stands for Evelyn and L stands for Lyra, her mother who raised her single-handedly. She already had a deal in hand. She was very very busy preparing to fulfill the big order of her client.
It's been a month she and her mother moved to this city from the small town they lived in. Her mother was an excellent fashion designer but a tragedy struck Lyra Blackwood and took everything from her. The mother and daughter duo moved on from that situation and now they are doing well. Her mother used to stitch clothes for the ladies in their locality. She quickly got famous because of her skills. So she always had enough money to send Evelyn school, and then to he fashion school. Now Evelyn was in her small home studio in their appartment.
Lyra looked at her daughter and patted on her head. She let out a sigh and said "Honey don't you think you should take some break?" Evelyn snapped back from her thoughts and smiled at her mother. "Ah mom I was about to take a break. I am almost done with the sketches." "Very well then" Lyra replied "After finishing come to the dining room. Let's have lunch together. I made your favourite lasagna." Evelyn grinned. "Okayyy! I'll be there soon!" Lyra left the room while Evelyn went back to working. She had to show her client the sketches tomorrow.
After 30 minutes, Evelyn and Lyra were having lunch. They were almost done when a young couple barged into the house. It was none other than Evelyn's best friend, Cara Davidson who worked as a nurse and her boyfriend Liam Black who owned a restaurant. Time to time the couple helped out Evelyn with her business too whenever necessary. "Ah is this the time for you both to arrive?" Lyra said to them shaking her head and added "sit down for lunch. It's already late!" "Okay Ms Blackwood!" both of them replied in unison with a salute making Evelyn giggle.
Lyra served them lasagna. Cara stuffed her mouth with the lasagna and spoke "Ah Evelyn-" but Lyra cut her off. "Gulp the food first before talking" She said sternly. Cara blinked two times and gulped the food. Then she again said "I was saying are you done with the sketches?" Evelyn replied "yes I am done. Why?" Liam cut into the conversation "Eve listen. Mr. Grey called me to go and see the building you are going to buy from him" Cara rolled her eyes at her boyfriend and said "I was going to say the same thing to Evelyn"
Evelyn replied "I am done with the sketches. I'll mail them after lunch. Then we all can go finalize the building that would be the headquarters of EL Blackwood fashion" Lyra looked at everyone and said "Ah why don't you kids go and take a look at the building. I don't think there is any need for me to go* Evelyn Cara and Liam looked at her like they saw some ghost and Cara immediately protested. "No no no! You have to come with us!" Evelyn joined with "Please come with us" in the pleading. "Ah you kids" Lyra sighed.
Cara's eyes lit up as she asked "Are you coming then?" Lyra has a faint smile on her face as she replied "I will!" Evelyn was done eating by then. So she said "you all continue, I'll just send the email and get ready" and stood up. Everyone else on the table replied with a okay. She put the plates in the dishwasher and entered her bedroom. She appeared from her room dressed up in 15 minutes. Lyra also got changed. They left to meet the broker, Mr. Grey on Liam's car. "I hope it all goes well" Evelyn thought.
They met the broker, and finalised the deal. By the time they were done with the paperwork, it was almost 6pm. All of them felt a little hungry. Liam's resturant was still 30 minutes driving from here so they decided to find some place close to eat something. As they were standing outside the building, Evelyn's ears sharpened up as she heard "Are you fucking for real? What makes you think I, THE Cole Garrison, heir of the Garrison industries, would go to that kind of roadside shack?" Evelyn turned around and saw a guy about her age standing little far.
He was very handsome. His eyes resembled that of a tiger. There was no doubts that he was filthy rich as he himself declared that he was the heir of the Garrison industries. Evelyn greeted her teeth because she absolutely hated it when rich brats look down on others. So she cleared her throat to get everyone's attention and said loudly "I heard there is a very good shack by the road here. We can just go there? After all everyone works hard right?" Lyra Cara and Liam looked at her being a bit surprised due to her high tone.
This did attract Cole's attention. He was looking at them with a raised eyebrow. He was a good businessman in all fairness so he was indeed smart. He could sense the taunt in the voice. Evelyn glanced at him and walked away rolling her eyes. Cole smirked looking at her direction and mumbled "Interesting" with a raised eyebrow.
