Chapter 8

AZEINA'S POV :

It is already 6 am kaya naligo na ako at bumaba. I got some ingredients for making a sweet and spicy beef steak. Sinimulan ko ng magluto at gumawa ng juice. I let out a heavy sigh for remembering the fight between me and my brothers. I think I was just annoyed and angry that time. I didn't hear them out and got angry. I think I should talk to them later.

[FASTFORWARD]

"Okay guys break muna!" saad ni Mindy matapos naming mag practice ulit. It's already 9 am at maya-maya ay aalis na ako para sunduin si Zhi..."Azeina" tawag ni Mindy sakin.

"Yeah?"

"Sure ka bang isasama mo kami sa pag sundo kay Zhihao?" tanong ni Mindy. Sinabihan ko kasi sina Dei at Mindy na isasama ko sila sa pag sundo kay Zhi.

"Oo , bakit?" 

"Uh , nahihiya kasi ako sa kanya" saad niya.

"Wag kang mahiya , wala namang hiya yun eh." saad ko at napatawa naman siya. 

Tinuloy na namin yung practice pero di na kami sumali at nagbihis na para umalis at sunduin si Zhi.

"Alyona and Jeydon , can look after them while we're out?" tanong ni Dei.

"Of course we can!" masayang saad ni Alynia. Nag paalam na kami sa dance troupe at umalis na.

Habang nasa daan papunta airport ay hindi mapigilan nina Dei at Mindy na kabahan kaya nag-jamming nalang kami sa music. Di rin nagtagal ay narating din namin ang airport. Andito kami ngayon sa lobby at naghihintay kay Zhi.

[Azz]

"Where are you now?"

[Help]

"Where are you?" bigla akong nag alala.

[I'm stucked]

"*sigh* I thought you were in danger"

[I'm in the main entrance. It's so crowded here]

"Too fast? We're still in the lobby"

[Faster it's too noisy]

"That's the problem of having too much fans"

[Help me out]

"Okay , okay" I said and ended the call. Lumapit ako kina Mindy at Dei.."Sunduin daw natin siya dun sa labas." tumango silang kinakabahan at sumunod sakin. Nakalabas na kami at nakipagsapalaran na maabot si Zhi. Pagdating namin sa harap ay pinigilan kami nung mga guards na nakapalibot kay Zhi kaya agad niya kaming nilapitan at binigyan ng shades para hindi kami makilala.

Hinila niya na ako kaya sumunod kami sa kanya papuntang parking lot. Nauna na ako sa paglalakad at pumunta sa sasakyan ko. Tinulungan ko si Zhi sa paglagay ng mga gamit niya sa loob ng sasakyan.

"Let's go , I think they're excited to meet Zhi" nakangiting saad ko at pumasok na ng sasakyan. 

Bumyahe kami ng 20 mins at agad namang nakarating. May nakita akong mga estudyante mula sa entrance ng school at may mga banner pang dala. Pagkababang-pagkababa namin ay dun na nagsimulang magtilian ang mga estudyante na nakabantay sa hallway.

"You know anything 'bout this?" Zhi asked me.

"No , I don't have idea about this" I answered..."Mindy , did you tell them this?" mahinahong tanong ko.

"No , Dei and I didn't have any idea about this" she answered.

"I think it's one of our members" Dei said and continued to walk. 

"Your school is big" Zhi said while walking.

"Not as big as your school" I said but he just chuckled. 

"How many of you are in the dance troupe?" he asked.

"Hmm..About 20 I think , am I right Mindy?" I asked Mindy for confirmation.

"We're totally 22" she answered.

"Oh , I see" Zhi said and smiled. The noise became loud because of that.

"Tch. Pretty famous" I whispered.

"What is it , Az---" he didn't finished what he's saying when I covered his mouth. He looked at me confused.

"Don't call me in my name when we're in public" I whispered to him and smiled to his fans who's glaring at me.

"Okay~" he said. We continued walking until we reached the studio. We saw them practicing our dance..."Woah , cool" napatigil sa pagsayaw yung mga members ng DT nung pumunta sa harap si Zhi para manood ng mas malapitan..."Is there something wrong?" takang tanong ni Zhi.

"You surprised them" saad ko at hinubad yung wig at salamin ko..."Guys , may I introduce to you. Zhihao my dance teacher , Zhihao this is the whole dance troupe" nagulat kami ni Zhihao pareho nung takpan ni Dei yung mukha ko.

"Hey , be gentle you might hurt her!" Zhi said.

"I'm sorry but there are students who followed us here , they are not allowed to see Azeina" Dei said to Zhi and brought me inside the locker room. Zhi and Mindy followed us.     

"Azeina , I'm sorry 'bout this. I'll take care of it immediately" Mindy said and went out again. Alynia went inside after Mindy went out.

"Ate Azeina , okay ka lang?" tanong niya sakin.

"Yeah" saad ko at ngumiti sa kanya. I saw Zhi looking at my neck..."Zhi , any problem?" I asked him.

"What's with the bruise?" oh sh*t. He saw it , I immediately covered it with my hand and faked a smile at him. Dei looked at my neck curiously.

"Ah , haha. It's nothing" I said and looked away.

"Azz , I know you're lying. Tell me" he said seriously. I think I have no other choice but..

"A box fell in the faucet when I tried finding a ketchup" nice lie Azeina.

"Did you took care of it?" he asked.

"Yeah" nakuha ko ito sa pakikipaglaban sa clone ni Trev. Nahampas niya kasi ako ng baril na hawak niya.

"Does it hurt?" he asked again.

"No , it doesn't" I answered.

"Ate lalabas muna kami , tutulungan namin si ate Mindy. Mag sweet talk muna kayo" nagulat ako sa sinabi ni Alynia na 'sweet talk'. 

"You just flew here but you're not taking good care of yourself" he said seriously but gentle.

"Don't worry 'bout it bro. I missed you" I said and hugged him. 

"I missed you too lil' sis. We didn't see each other for about 3 months I think." he said and hugged me back..."Uhm..What about your brothers? Where are they?" he asked me.

"They are in this school , too" I said and lowered my head.

"You had a fight with them?" this is why I can't lie so easily on him.

"Yeah"

"Why?" he asked , worried.

"It's a long story" I said and looked at him.

"Is it hard to live here? Why don't you live with us again?" he asked.

"No , it's okay here" I said and smiled at him.

"Azz , mom and dad are worried about you. They feel uneasy every time they hear about your issues in life from Mr. Jack." he said.

"Tell them they don't have to feel that way. I'm okay , they taught me how to handle those things alone." 

"Well--" his words was cut by Mindy when she came in.

"They're gone" masayang tugon niya.

"Thanks for your help Mindy" I said.

"Always welcome" saad niya at ngumiti. Umalis din siya para kausapin yung dance troupe about sa nangyari kanina nung dumating si Zhi.

"Want to meet your brothers?" Zhi asked me.

"Maybe later" I said and went to my locker to change my clothes.

"Azz , may I ask a question?" he asked when I went out from the locker room.

"Already asking"

"Oh , I'm sorry but...Can I study here , too?" he asked.

"Why are you asking me that? Ask uncle" I said and tied my hair.

"I'm sure dad will agree but how about you?" he asked.

"It's okay , at least uncle and aunt won't be worried that much because my so called brother is here" he chuckled and pinched my cheek.

"Okay , I'll tell dad about that. I think my lil' sis is too lonely without her big bro" he said , teasing me.

"Who's lonely huh?"

"You"

"I am not"

"Sure"

"Very"

"Ouch , it hurts" what he said made me panic.

"Are you okay?"

"Haha , gotcha!"

"Why? Are you tricking me again?" I said then glared at him.

"Hehe , sorry. But do you care for big bro?"

"Would I panic if not?" I sarcastically asked and rolled my eyes at him.

"Aww , my lil' sis is too sweet" he said and hugged me but I pushed him.."Sorry" he said and showed me his dimples.

 "Thank your dimples later" I said and pinched his cheeks. Sabay kaming lumabas at nag sitayuan narin yung mga members ng DT. 

"Uhm..Can you show me your dance?" he asked the DT and went in front to see them. We went to our formations and started dancing with the beats..

"That's nice but we need to polish some of your steps because some of you can't get it correctly and some of you can't catch up in other formations but it's totally okay. You can perfect it with doing some polish." Zhi said and smiled at them. He looked at his watch and looked at us again.."It's already your lunch time , you can go get some lunch and be back before 1 : 30 , is it okay?"

"Yes!" sabay naming sagot at nagsibihis na.

"Azz , you're doing great as ever" Zhi said and messed my hair.."Change your clothes then we'll have our lunch" he said and went to his bag.

Natapos na akong magbihis at nagulat ako nung makita kong lahat sila ay naghihintay.

"Azz , what if...Be Azeina just for this day. No disguise , no hiding your face to every students in this school?" nagulat ako sa biglaang tanong ni Zhi sakin.

"I agree to him. One day will be enough" saad ni Mindy at lumapit sakin.

"Oo nga" sagot din ng iba.

"I totally disagree" malungkot na saad ko.

"Why?"Zhi asked. 

"Students may ask so many questions in our dance troupe. Like , how did the dance troupe get the most famous dance instructor? How did Avrail got close with Zhihao? When did Azeina came here? How did Azeina appear so sudden? Can you give them answers that may keep them quite after knowing those?" I said calmly.

"Well , you can leave that to us" Mindy said and tapped Dei's shoulder.

"I really can't , my manager and the director would kick me out in the entertainment. And Zhi--" I looked at my back and Zhi's not there. "Where is he?" I asked them but.

"Azz  , I already called your manager and he agreed" Zhi said walking towards us. Wow, he's fast.

"I think I don't have choice but...Fine , I will" masaya silang nagsigawan at tinulak naman ako ni Dei at Mindy papuntang locker room para mag bihis as Azeina.

Pagkatapos kong magbihis ng Nike na leggings at crop top na jacket ay lumabas na ako. Halatang masaya silang napapayag nila ako. Hindi na kami nagtagal sa studio at naglakad na papuntang cafeteria. Lahat ng mga estudyanteng nadadaanan namin ay napapatulala nalang at napapasigaw.

"Si Azeina yun diba?" - G1

"Oo nga at kasama pa si Zhihao" - G2

"Gahd! Sila talaga yung shini-ship ko!" - G3

"Oo nga!" - G4

"Should I enter as a dance troupe member too?" - G3

"Andito nga si Azeina pero kelan lang siya dumating dito?" - G5 

"Baka kanina nung may klase pa tayo" - G4

"Siguro nga" - G5

"Ang swerte naman ng dance troupe!" - G6

"Oo nga , tapos tignan mo nakakalapit pa sila!" - G7

"I'm jealous!" - G8

Di rin nagtagal ay nakarating na kami sa cafeteria at yung kaninang maingay na cafeteria ay biglang natahimik at nabaling samin ang atensyon. Nagulat kami nung makita yung mga estudyanteng biglang naglinyahan sa harap namin at yumuko.

"We're so grateful to have a guests like you!" sabay-sabay nilang saad. Nakita rin naming lumalapit yung principal samin.

"Good noon , Miss Azeina and Sir Min. These students lining in front of you is our student council and we're giving you a warm welcome." saad nito.

"Thank you for this , principal?" saad ni Zhi na parang tinatanong yung pangalan nung principal namin.

"Vou're" saad naman ni principal.

"Oh , thank you for this principal Vou're" saad naman ni Zhi.

"No need to thank me , actually we didn't expect you to come to our school so we are not  prepared for it" saad ni principal.

"It's okay" 

"Let me guide you to the table we prepared" mahinahong saad ni principal at dinala kami sa isang hallway na papunta sa isang malaking silid. Wow , this dining room is so huge. I think this is made for their special guests..."Welcome to Gazeldran University" pagsabay ng principal sa pagbati samin kasama yung mga cooks.

"Thank you for this warm welcoming for us" I said and smiled at him.

"Actually I have to be the one saying thanks to you for helping our dance troupe" saad ni principal.

 "It's nothing" saad ni Zhi.

Habang kumakain ay nagkwekwentuhan kami at nag enjoy naman yung buong dance troupe dahil sumasabay na din si Zhi sa mga trip nila. Kanina pa nakaalis yung principal namin at iniwan kami rito para kumain.

"So , when is the competition?" tanong ni Zhi.

"September"

"Oh , I guess you did practice early for you to perfect your choreography?" tanong ni Zhi.

"Well , yeah" 

"That's nice , but Azz , are you comfortable with this early practice?" tanong ni Zhi sakin.

"Uhm...Yeah , I think."

"Why?" tanong naman ni Mindy.

"Azz used to practice 2 weeks before the performance every time" sagot ni Zhi.

"She can perfect a choreo in just a short time?" tanong ni Alynia.

"Yeah , she can memorize ten to 15 choreo's at a time" saad ni Zhi.

"Whoa , that's cool" 

Nagkwentuhan lang sila at nagkwentuhan at hindi na nila namalayan na 1:37 pm na. 

"Guys" tawag ko sakanila at agad naman silang napatingin sakin.."It's already 1:38 pm" saad ko at nauna ng tumayo.  

"Okay , let's go" saad ni Zhi. Nasa dulo ako at nauuna silang lahat sa Zhi naman nag eenjoy sa pagusap kay Dei kaya humiwalay muna ako sa kanila at pumunta sa garden.

I think I should talk to my brothers about what happened. I messaged them and asked if they are free. After 1 minute of waiting for their replies , they all said they are. I sent them my location and waited for them. I laid down on the grass and covered my eyes with my arms.

"A-Azy?" bumangon ako nung marinig ko yung boses ni Luhan. So , they're here. So fast.

"You're here" I said and smiled at them. I patted the grass both sides for them to sit. They sat and looked at me.

"Why did you call us here?" inosenteng tanong ni Xhion.

"Uhm....To say that , I'm sorry" I said and lowered my head but Luhan raised my chin up.

"We're the ones who have to say sorry to you. We didn't even protect our princess" Luhan said and patted my head.

"Yeah , he's right. We're very sorry , princess" Trev said.

"Can you not be so dramatic please? You look like gays" I said and chuckled..."Ow!" daing ko nung sabay nila akong batukan.

"Sinong tinatawag mong bakla ha?" tinaasan ako ng kilay ni Xhion.

"I'm a straight guy" saad ni Luhan at tinignan ako ng masama.

"Walang Del Luca na bakla , kuha mo?" saad naman ni Trev.

"Ba't kailangan sabay niya akong batukan? Ansakit kaya nun!" nakabusangot na saad ko.  Sabay silang napakamot ng ulo at tumawa ng mahina..."Ba't kayo natatawa?" takang tanong ko.

"Wala , namiss lang namin yung ganyang ugali ni Azeina" ano daw?

"Huh?" tanong ko ulit.

"Wa--"

*bell rings*

"May class pa pala akong pupuntahan" saad ni Trev at inayos yung uniform niya.."I'm sorry princess but I have to go" saad niya at hinalikan ako sa noo.

"May class pa ako sa Chem Vrix , I'm sorry aalis na din ako." Xhion said and kissed e in my forehead too.

"I have to go , too. I have a class defense in Biology. I'm sorry Azy. Oh wait , I heard bro Zhi is here" pahabol niya.

"Yeah , you can see him in the dance studio later" saad ko at nginitian siya.

"Ok , I'll drop by later if I have time. Bye" saad niya at umalis na. Naglakad na din ako pabalik nung may mabunggo ako.

"I'm sorry" I said and lowered my head.

"Welcome to our school miss Azeina" a guy said. I don't recognize this voice and I don't think I already heard this voice.

"Uhm , thanks" I said and looked at him.

"I'm Mizuki Pseudo , the vice president of the school's student council"

"Oh , I see" 

"You seem to be wandering around , want me to guide you?" he asked.

"Hey , Mizu! Don't flirt there! We have a student council meeting!" a guy said while walking towards Mizuki.

"I'm just entertaining our guest" he said and chuckled.

"Oh , I'm sorry miss Azeina I didn't notice it was you" the guy said and bowed at me.

"It's okay"

"By the way , I'm Miyuki Pseudo. Mizu's twin brother and the president of the school's student council" they have identical faces. I can even hardly identify which is Mizuki and Miyuki.

"Woah , you look so identical" I said. They looked so shy. They even blushed.

"I-I didn't expect that" Mizuki said.

"Well...You can easily identify us because Mizu is taller than me" Miyuki said and smiled.

"Oh , it's not obvious that Mizuki's taller than you because you're both tall"

"Ah , hehe" 

"Well , let me give you this," I said and gave them a bracelet brought by me from Canada..I worn Mizuki a black bracelet and brown for Miyuki.."There , I can easily identify you now!" I said lively and saw them blush again. I pinched both of their cheecks and waved goodbye.

"See you around!" I said and left. Thay just waved at me and smiled. Actually , they're cute and handsome. 

I finally arrived at the practice room and saw everyone practicing the dance. I went beside Zhi and whispered.

"I'm sorry , I'm late. I just have a talk with my brothers"

"It's okay. So how was it? Did your talk went well?" he asked.

"Well , yeah"

"That's good to hear. Oh , I almost forgot. Can you help me find a place to stay? I talked to Dad a while ago , then he said he'll transfer me here" he said.

"Hmm , let me see. There's a vacant house in front of my house. You can buy it" I said and smiled at him.

"What about in your house?" he asked.

"All the rooms are occupied" I answered.

"By whom?" he asked again.

"By Xhion and my friends" I said and looked at the dance troupe who's practicing hard to make the dance perfect.

"Only girl?" what he asked made me froze.

"H-how did you know?" I asked him.

"I called your manager , he said he just knew that you are living with the future heirs of Vallejo Clan , Zy Clan , Monteverde Clan , and Artazostre Clan. Did you take note of what I said before you go everywhere without me. Don't....Come....Along....With....Boys" I just let out a heavy sigh and looked at him.

"I did take note but...They're Xhion's friend and they're not as dangerous as you think" 

"I...Don't...Care. You surely did not behave while I'm away from you" saad niya at pinitik ako sa noo.

"Ow! That hurts" 

"Take the punishment for not obeying me"

"Well , I think that one is enough"

"That's not the only punishment" 

"Huh? Is it not enough?"

"It's not"

"Why do I have protective brothers around me?"I whispered and shake my head.

The whole day we were just practicing the steps Zhi taught us. I can see that everyone is having a hard time catching up to those hard steps Zhi taught. I can also feel that they want to change that steps but they are shy.

"Zhi" I stopped in the middle of practice and called Zhi. They all stopped and looked at me.

"Yeah? What is it?" he asked.

"Can you change the steps? Look at them" I said and he followed me..."They are having a hard time doing those steps" I said and smiled at them.

"Oh , I see. But why didn't you speak? Are you shy? Well , I can change it" he said.

"No , it's okay. We're catching up naman" Mindy said and mouthed me 'thank you'.

"Are you sure?" Zhi asked once again.

"Yeah!" everyone answered.

"Okay , just tell me if you can't get it , okay?" Zhi asked.

"Okay!" they all answered and we all went back to our formations and started practicing again.

The night caught up with us while we were practicing. It is already 7 pm and Zhi decided to make them rest and relax this whole night for them to be able to practice without muscle pains tomorrow. Nauna na rin si Zhi dahil titignan niya pa daw yung bahay na binili niya.

I just finished getting a shower and went to the locker room to dry my hair. I was startled when I heard my phone rang.

"Hello?"

[Azeina! Hi]

"Oh , Chrys. Napatawag ka?"

[Hindi muna kami sa bahay matutulog dahil may team building yung basketball team ngayon. Nga pala kasama din namin dito si Xhion. Hinihintay nalang namin yung school bus na maghahatid samin sa airport]

"San kayo mag te-team building? At ilang araw yung stay niyo dun?"

[Sa Batangas kami at 1 week kami dun]

"Anong gagawin niyo dun? Mag rerelax?"

[May nag-invite samin sa 2 days basketball camp at sa natitirang araw naman ay magkakasama yung lahat ng teams na kasama sa camp and we'll do some activities]

"That sounds fun , huh?"

[Yeah]

"Yun lang sasabihin mo?"

[Oo , andito ka pa ba sa school?]

"Well , yeah"

[Puntahan mo kami dito sa main entrance]

"Okay , wait for me"

[Okay , bye]

He ended up the call. Nagmadali na ako at lumabas na. Nilock ko na rin yung pintuan ng studio. Nagmadali ako sa paglakad kasi baka hindi ko na sila maabutan. Agad naman akong nakarating dun at nakita ko silang nagtatawanan kaya plano kong gulatin si Chrys.

Pumunta ako sa likudan niya pero....

"What are you doing?" napaayos ako ng tayo nung may marinig akong boses mula sa likuran ko. Napatingin din sila ni Chrys sa direksyon ko.

"Oh , Az---Avrail andito ka na pala" saad ni Chrys.

"Hi" saad ko at agad na nagtago sa likod ni Xhion nung makita kong masamang nakatingin sakin yung Gab na kasama nila. 

"Oh , ba't ka nagtatago diyan?" tanong ni Hlyx sakin. Tinuro ko si Gab at tinawanan lang nila ako.

"Ano ka ba? Dapat masanay ka na , ganyan talaga tumitig yan. Pero himala , yung titig niya sa'yo ay di katulad nung mga titig niya sa ibang babae." saad naman ni Jyro.

"Huh? Di ko gets" nakangiwing saad ko.

"Wala , sabi ko baka interesado si Gab sa'yo" mas napangiwi ako sa sinabi ni Jyro.

"What the hell are you talking , Jyro?" Gab asked Jyro.

"Joke lang. Eto naman di mabiro" saad ni Jyro.

"Psh. Feeling gwapo" bulong ko sa sarili ko.

"What did you say?"tanong naman ni Gab sakin.

"Wala , sabi ko panget ka" deretsong saad ko at inirapan siya.

"Are you so gorgeous to say that?" tanong niya sakin.

"Wala akong sinasabing maganda ako pero sa totoo lang talaga.....Ang panget mo! Tche." inirapan ko ulit siya.

"Is this your sister , Xhion?" tanong niya kay Xhion.

"Ah , no. Just a friend of my sister" saad ni Xhion.

"Am I going to believe in that lie?" nagulat ako at si Xhion , pati na rin sina Chrys. 

"W-what do you mean?" kinakabahang tanong ko.

"You're Azeina Del Luca a.k.a Janikka Avrail Kim" halos matumba ako nung mahinang sinasabi ni Gab iyon habang lumalapit sakin pero agad akong inalalayan ni Ronn at pinigilan naman siya ni Xhion.

"How did you know?" mahinang saad ni Xhion para di marinig ng teammates nila.

"I'm good at analyzing" saad ni Gab..."Who is the idiot that will show that Azeina is here suddenly even though she was not invited to come here" sarkastikong saad niya at tumingin sakin..."That was a stupid idea"

"Gab , can you please keep this a secret?" nagmamakaawang tanong ni Hlyx.

"Are you begging me just for this stupid woman?" he asked Hlyx sacastically.

"Gab , please. Just for the sake of my sister" I never heard this pleasing tone of Xhion so I immediately held his elbow to stop him.

"Xhion , stop" I said.

"Are you even afraid of getting caught?" napaatras ako nung lumapit siya sakin. I never done this before , ba't ako umaatras? Natatakot ba ako sa kanya?

"No" deretsong saad ko at tumigil sa pag-atras.

"Really?" tanong niya habang lumalapit pa din sakin.

"Yes" matigas na saad ko.

"You can beg me if you don't want this to be the top news tomorrow morning" nainis ako sa paraan ng pag sabi niya ng 'beg me'.

"No matter what happens I will never do that"

"Okay , I'm easy to talk to. Prepare for the top news tomorrow" saad niya at tumalikod na pero pinigilan ko siya. I have to lower my pride just for now. Lumuhod ako sa harap niya at yumuko.

"W-what do you want?" I asked him. Magsasalita na sana siya pero inunahan siya ni Xhion.

"Azeina...What do you think you're doing?" parang disappointed na tanong ni Xhion.

"I'm doing the thing I have to do" matigas na saad ko.

"Good. You actually did ask me" Gab said while smirking.

"Azeina , stand up" utos ni Xhion pero di ko siya pinansin..."Are you happy now? Seeing my sister kneeling in front of you?"

"Not enough for me to be happy" seryosong saad ni Gab. I feel a sharp stone making a wound on my knee. I think it is big enough to make my knee bleed.

"Azeina , stand up. You'll wound yourself" nag aalalang saad ni Ronn pero di ko ito pinansin.

"What else do you want?" seryosong tanong ko kay Gab na nagpatahimik sa kanila.

"Be my slave" saad niya.

"No! I won't let you do that to her" matigas na saad ni Xhion.

"Gab , that is too much" saad ni Hlyx.

"Tama sila Gab. Can't you let this one slide?" tanong ni Ronn.

"I agree with what you want. How long?" saad ko.

"3 months will do" saad ni Gab.

"Okay"
