89 Immortal

In the Na'vi camp a retual was taking place to contact Ava.

Suddenly, amidst the tranquility, the figure of Ava materialized from invisibility, her towering form and unfathomable aura striking awe into the hearts of the Na'vi.

The priests themselves were taken aback. Contacting Goddess Ava usually required intricate rituals and time, yet now, she reached out to them directly, urging them to repel the imminent threat.

"What chance do we have against such power?" a voice quivered with uncertainty.

"The priestess declared that we must defend the sacred tree, or risk abandonment by the gods," another voice responded, echoing the inner turmoil.

"Are these truly our foes?" a young Na'vi questioned, eyeing the priestess, then swiftly amending, "I mean, can we withstand their flying machines?"

The priestess sighed, uncertain, but bound by Ava's command, sacrifices were inevitable.

"For Mother Goddess Ava!" the rallying cry echoed through the ranks.

Thankfully, they were not alone; Beasts joined their cause, guided perhaps by Ava's unseen hand.

As Beasts thundered and birds soared, the Na'vi charged forth on armored steeds, their numbers lending an illusion of strength.

In the sky, Royce and companions watched the unfolding drama, cautioned to remain in safety.

"You're safer here. Let Mousse unleash our might upon these aggressors," Varion ordered.

"Understood, sir," Mousse acknowledged.

A crackling of energy heralded the onslaught. From the Future above, red beams split and cascaded, targeting the Na'vi both on land and in the air under Mousse's command.

In the ethereal realm, Ava's brow furrowed as she fixed her gaze upon Varion.

"Alien, what is your intent?"

Varion sensed the gravity behind Ava's question. Something significant must be unfolding beyond their spiritual connection. Had he pushed too far?

"Didn't I mention? I merely seek a small quantity of ore."

"No, these minerals are inherent to my being," Ava countered firmly, revealing more than Varion had anticipated. Clearly, these resources held profound importance for her existence.

"No?"

"Impossible. I shall obliterate them all if necessary," Ava declared with unwavering resolve, her power palpable.

Varion sighed, realizing Ava's immense strength. With a shake of his head, he disengaged from their spiritual link. As his eyes opened, the chaos of battle met his gaze.

"This entity doesn't heed warnings!" he remarked with frustration.

Concerned, Isabelle inquired, "Are you alright?"

"Don't fret. It's a minor skirmish. Mouse, scan the planet's core."

"Understood, Commander."

A beam of light emanated from the ship, sweeping across the landscape. Its focal point: the site of the Holy Tree. While the crew remained unsure of Varion's intentions, they trusted that he had a plan.

Outside, Mousse's devastating blow decimated both the beasts and the Na'vi, quelling any potential trouble. The strike narrowly spared the Na'vi from annihilation, preserving their tribe.

"Commander, we've detected an anomaly. An energy fluctuation distinct from the planet's core," Mouse reported.

A holographic projection materialized before them, revealing the planet's subterranean depths. A mass of energy matter emitted continuous fluctuations, distinct from the core's energy.

"Open a portal and extract samples," Varion ordered.

In a flash of light, Royce and Isabelle were whisked aboard the ship. A beam of light shot from the ship's hull, penetrating the ground effortlessly. Despite the immense power, no tremors accompanied its descent.

"Did they discover something?" Royce inquired, peering at the screen with intrigue.

Isabelle shook her head, "I don't know, Varion's been like this since he woke up. He must have stumbled upon something significant. It's not easy to get him to care this much."

Indeed, it wasn't simple. Varion had unearthed something extraordinary upon connecting with Ava. She wasn't just a collective consciousness; she was a living entity existing in the material world.

"Remarkable, isn't it? Even after eons of Kryptonian civilization, entities like Ava are rare. Each one is a cosmic marvel," Isabelle remarked.

Varion mused, his joy palpable. What began as a mission to procure superconducting ores had blossomed into an unexpected boon. The blood of predators seemed to be his fortunate omen, heralding unforeseen treasures.

Among Krypton's seven major representatives of supreme-level technology, the Phantom Zone was one, a realm where time itself stood still.

Then there was the Fixed Star capture technology, harnessing stars as formidable weapons.

Now, here lay another: Immortal-Making-Tech

Discover a planet teeming with life, extract its core, integrate it into a Kryptonian life form's body, and the result? A Kryptonian with boundless potential. Remember, boundless.

This technology was a boon for unlocking Kryptonians' latent abilities. Originally formidable beings, with this advancement, their power became unimaginable.

Chromosomes, each one a legacy of ancestral toil and sacrifice. With the core of a life-bearing planet, Varion could unlock his full potential, perhaps even surpass it.

In Krypton's annals, such a technology had only emerged once before. The last ancestor had opted for self-distruction, unable to endure the loneliness wrought by immortality. Otherwise, Krypton's history might have taken a vastly differen
