64 Slash Dogs.

As Romonus looked at the 4 students he was reminded of the Light Novel. Slash Dogs happened 5 years before the start of DxD with Tobio as the Main Character. The first chapter said that the Events of the Prequel Slash Dogs happened 2 months after the sinking of the Heavenly of Aloh.

He had been expecting this for a while and he knew that the cruise ship had left. His TV was also enchanted by Ajuka so he could use it as a Mirror of Remote Viewing. As such, he had watched the ship sinking which just happened. 

The Utsusemi Agency had just struck meaning that he had a 2 month head start. He would need to get in contact with Azazel, and Mephisto Phelis who were some of the main players of this event. 

The Utsusemi Agency was just in its infancy and their Utsusemi were in testing mode. They of course wanted to catch these 4 because of the 4 Fiends sealed within them.

Unluckily for them, he struck first cutting off their research into the Fiends. As he looked at them, he saw that Shigune, Natsume, Kouki, and Hyousuke all seemed terrified of him, and with good reason. 

He decided to pull Tobio forward as he was a classmate of theirs. Even if he didn't know them he was wearing his school uniform.

"Nice to meet you 4. I am sure you are confused so I will explain it now. All of you missed The Cruise Ship of Heanly of Aloah and for good reason. It has been attacked by a Magician Terrorist organization which was after the 4 of you. 

Loo at the creature that emerged from you. They are the 4 Fiends of Ancient Japanese myth. The Tāotiè, Qióngqí, Táowù, and Húndùn which were killed long ago. The God of the Bible took their bodies and souls and sealed them in his Sacred Gear System. Weapons are given to mankind to fight the Supernatural. 

You 4 got sick before the trip began because your Sacred Gears were protecting you. Now that I have unsealed them for you, you 4 are going to be facing some trials. 

He waited for them to speak and as expected the first one up was Kouki. He picked up his Sacred Gear the Taowu and walked forward. Right now it just looked like a tiny white fured cat with red eyes and two tails. 

"Hold up, you telling me that this 2 tailed cat is the Taowu of the myths? It is tiny and how the heck did it come out of my chest? Where was it?

Miria chuckled as that was a smart question. 

"Simple, it was not in your body. It was in your soul waiting to be called upon, just that my lover here woke it up for you. You're welcome." 

Kouki looked at the cat in the eyes who just meowed at him. 

"Really now? That is really cool, but more importantly, you said the ship has been attacked? My friend was on that ship. 

Romonus sat down and patiently explained. 

"Because the ship was a trap. The Terrorist Orginization I said is made up of Mages. They call themselves the Utsusemi Organization and they are behind the event." 

He aimed his hand forward and shoed them the real events. How the Cruise was frozen in place with magic, but he did not show the actual attack. He could see that Shigune, Natsume, Kouki and Hyousuke were both angry and horrifed. 

"They kidnapped all the students because they wanted to turn them into hosts of Artificially made Sacred Gears. Copies of yours effectively. You 4 were the Targets, but your Sacred Gears sensing danger made you fall ill. Since you were not there, they took the students to use them in their experiments."

Hearing what he said made Kouki and the other 3 all feel so many emotions. They had lost friends on that ship which they had just found out about. Kouki squinted his eyes and walked forward to Romonus. 

When he stood in front of Romonus who was seated his emotions were causing the Touwu on his shoulder to surge with power. 

"Tell me where they are and I will tear them apart?" 

Romonus was happy that Kouki was already feeling this way. He was looking for another Pawn and he would work perfectly. For now, he shrugged. 

"I don't know. I can see the future, but not perfectly. I only learned of what was going to happen, not when. I saved you 4 now because they were going to kidnap you in the next 2 months." 

Natsume looked at the hawk on her shoulder and then started to take deep breaths. 

"So you are saying magic is real?" 

He chuckled as while she looked nervous now, she quickly got used to her new life.

"Of course it is you just saw it. The way I brought you to my side was Necromancy. While I would like to spend more time explaining, but we should go." 

He stomped his foot and teleported them all back to his safe house in England. In a flash of purple light, everyone appeared in his giant living room. Shigune, Natsume, Kouki and Hyousuke were in shock at the instant teleportation.

For a few momets they seemed disorenated so he explained what just happened. 

"Welcome to England. I get that you may not be happy at suddenly finding your world shaken up. but this will not last forever. Once the Utsusemi Agency is rooted out your classmates will be returned and you can return to semi-normal lives." 

Hearing the words 'semi' made Shigune pick up her Sacred Gear Taotie which looked like a small bison with a red helmet. If what he said was true, then this creature was her only source of protection. 

"Why Semi? Won't we be able to return to normal lives? We are just normal students so why were we choosent to host monsters of legend?"

Romonus looked at Tobio and Canis Lyacon at his side. The dog was no longer a small puppy and looked to be the size of a large German Shepherd now. He reached out to the dog who sat next to him. 

He ran his hand down the dog's back who gave a happy dog smile.. 

"You were not choosen, no one is. The Sacred Gear System does it at random. As for why you can't return to true normalsy is that you are Sacred Gear holders and there is no fate for you other than to be in the Supernatural. You 4 possess Sacred Gears with abilities that can rival the 13 Longinus the god killing gears. 

The aura of your 4 Evil Fiends will start to draw evil to your side. Spirits, Ghosts, Stray Devils, Man Eating Monsters, and the like. Once you were picked there is no escape. If your Gear is removed your soul will shatter killing you permanently. No afterlife and no rebirth." 

That sounded horrifying as dying was already scary, but permanent soul destruction was worse. Hyousuke or Koga looked at his feet at the black dog with shaggy hair and no eyes. The Hundun the manifestation of Chaos. 

It was about as big as Canis Lykaon, but it had long fure that fell from it's back and where it's eyes would be there was only fur. He kneeled down and scratched it's chin. 

"So, if these Gears are removed we die forever?" 

Valerie nodded with a sad smile. 

"Yes. A Sacred Gear is so tied to the user's soul that removing it causes such damage that it just shatters. For your sake do not try to remove them." 

Koga was not an idiot. He stopped petting the Hundun and moved his hand through his hair which was black with golden highlights like Azazel. 

"I won't. I just got one question, why are you getting involved?" 

Romonus smirked as he stood up. 

"Simple, I like to stick my nose where it doesn't belong. The Ustusemi Agency is a collection of bad eggs that I want to take care of. On another note, you 5 are reason enough for me to move. 

Tobio over here is the cousin of my girlfriend Akeno so I of course was obligated to save his life. Him having a Longinus was just the cherry on top and you 4 fall in the same place. You 4 have limitless potential that I want to unearth." 

Kouki squinted his eyes realizing that Romonus wanted something. 

"Why?"

Romonus of course did not lie and said it out right. 

"Because you will owe me one and when you 4 become powerful people in the world remember me who gave you that power."

Kouki smirked back. 

"You sure are honest. I like that." 

Romonus knew better than to lie. 

"Because honesty is better than half-truths. Now then, will you accept my help, or do I send you back to your city? You will be on your own though with 4 Evil Fiends that as their name suggests or stay with me to teach you." 

Natsume hugged her hawk the Qióngqí and rapudly shook her head in fear. 

"Don't send me back please." 

Kouki clenched his fist before turning to Romonus. 

"You are going to make us strong right?"

Romonus nodded. 

"As best that I can. It is in my and your best interest."

"Then I will stay. Train me so I can take revenge against the Utsusemi Agency myself." 

Romonus liked Kouki already as the guy knew how to get business started. 

"That is my plan. So then, Shigune and Koga. What will you choose?" 

From what he remembered these two were quite close with each other maybe even dating. He saw how they looked at each other before nodding. Koga spoke for both of them. 

"We will stay. However, I do have a request. Can you make sure our families are unaffected?" 

Romonus respected his request. 

"Of course. That is a simple thing as I can send a shadow to keep them safe. I will even make them think that you are just on a vacation overseas. For now, make your selves at home since you will be here for 2 months. 

Training will start tomorrow and your education. Shirone, do you mind showing them some empty rooms." 

She gave him a thumbs up and with her 4 wagging tails walked forward. 

"Follow me." 

He saw the 4 students follow her which just left Tobio. Akeno walked toward him and looked up at him. 

"We didn't get a chance to speak, but you are my cousin right?" 

Tobio looked at Romonus who gave him a nod. 

"I guess I am. My granny didn't speak much of her life before her marriage so I don't know. But I can see the resemblance to her in your eyes. So I guess we are cousins." 

That made Akeno smile. 

"Then we are family? Welcome." 

Seeing her smile made him smile as well. His parents left him alone as they went overseas on business. He had no siblings so he saw Akeno as a chance to have a little sister. 

As for Romonus, he turned to Miria who seemed annoyed. She sat down next to him and grabbed his coat firmly. She started to shake him a little. 

"What is it?" 

With purple glowing eyes and a murderous expression, she asked a question. 

"Where is the battle?" 

He wrapped his arm around her as she was in constant need to fight. 

"Relax Miria, you will get your fights soon. Tou need more patience." 

She snorted as she pulled away and crossed her arms. 

"Why is everything so damn peaceful these days? I miss the Great War at times." 

Valerie sat next to her and patted her back. 

"That is just how things changed now. If you wait a few more years I am sure you will get all the fights you want." 

Silvana also agreed with Valerie. At the moment she was polishing her newest scythe which was better than her old one. 

"I agree. Battles will come, but if you are impatient then you will just look like a brainless battle maniac." 

Miria rolled her eyes. 

"Whatever."

Romonus shook his head as he pulled out his phone. He called Azazel and brought up the phone to his ear as he waited. He didn't need to wait long before Azazel picked up the phone. 

"No, I am still not done with the Time Chamber. Stop asking." 

Romonus rolled his eyes as it was taking forever.

"How hard can it be dude? That is not why I am calling. Remember when I said we had to work together for future trouble? The time is here." 

Azazel remembered when Romonus told him that they would need to work together a year and a half ago which he believed. Now knowing what he did he realized that Romonus knew what was going to happen years ago. 

With a cold voice, he asked a question. 

"Did you know that Satanael would leave all this time?" 

"That I did." 

Azazel went silent before he cursed. 

"God damn it, man. You could have given me a heads-up, a clue at least. Now, that fucker ran off with Arondight, his entire class of Sacred Gear users, and secret Grigori research." 

Romonus pulled away the phone as Azazel could be loud.

"Hey don't blame me, this was a Grigori matter. However, now things are going to get messy as Satanael is not working alone. He is working with exiled members of the 5 Priciple Clans, exiled Wizards of Grauzauberer, and Wizards of Oz. 

They wanted to kidnap the current hosts of the 4 Fiends which I already have along with Tobio."

Azazel snarled a little. 

"That is why you told me that you called dibs? You knew he had a Sacred Gear too?" 

"Yup, Canis Lyacon by the way. Read 'em and weep." 

"Fuck you Romonus, you and that future sight of yours." 

Romonus started to laugh. 

"I will let you study them so don't whine." 

That shut Azazel up. 

"Well, why didn't you just start with that? I and Viviana are on the way." 

'So easy.' 

"Right. Get in contact with Mephisto since this involves exiled members from his order including Agusta the current wielder of Incinerate Anthem."

Now Azazel was straight up laughing like a madman. 

"Romonus my friend, bless your future sight. I am on my way." 

With that, he hung up which made Romonus chuckle. 

'Such a fun guy.' 

Once he cut the call with Azazel he put his phone in his pocket before standing up. 

"Alright then, soon we will be working alongside Grigori and Grauzaubere in the next 2 months to hunt down the Utsusemi Agency. Meaning that I just might have enough time to celebrate my birthday." 

That made Valerie and the girls smile. They did not want him to miss his birthday and with the way things were going, he would not. He would have to invite his lovers and friends for a good old get-together. 

For once he was looking forward to his birthday unlike when it was a big Noble event. He did not have to worry about what Noble wanted him to have their daughter now at least. He would be able to eat cake as at all his birthdays there was no damn cake.
