38 Metal Forging.

Romonus had been preparing for this day for months now and it was time to start. Once Itsuki and Akeno were awake they returned to his room where he used his phone to lower the hidden wall to reveal his forge room. 

Ajuka the times he had learned from him had taught him several space enchantments which meant a small closet-sized space could house a forge room the size of a house.

Here, he had a massive Enchanted Blast Forge made from Lava Mithiril that naturally vented an absurd amount of heat. It was also covered in several runes that would not just compress the liquid metal inside, but also remove the impurities from the metal.

While they entered he chose to leave Kharn in his room as the Badger did not care about this. Romonus did not mind as he would not be of any help here. As for why the forge needed to be made of Lava Mithiril it was because of its heat resistance. 

Some of the metals his Father gave him the ones he bought needed such high melting points that no regular human would do. Even the fire that fueled this thing needed to be powerful which was why he paid a visit to Tiamat in the Familiar Forest. 

In exchange for 5 chests of gold coins formed of gold ore that had sat in a mana vein for centuries, she sold him a Chaos Karma Fire Seed. He also informed her of Ddraig's return, but because of him paying her, she gave Itsuki and Ddraig some leeway. 

He even asked her if she would join his Peerage as his Queen, but she told him that the rule applied to everyone. Defeat her in single combat and she would belong to him in heart, body, and soul. He did not take her challenge then and made do with a Fire Seed from her. 

Interestingly enough her title as the Chaos Karma Dragon seemed to call to him. He planned to challenge her once his Profane Gear was complete. In the meantime, he walked over to the giant Blast Forge where he planned to melt his metals in bulk. 

"Alright, Latia, Surtr, MacGregor, and Ajuka will be arriving in 12 hours. This will give me time to get the metals ready."

Akeno looked up at the giant Blast Forge which was glowing with a heat that the room shimmered on its own. If not for the enchantments placed in the forge room and around the forge would be beyond scorching here. 

"So what metal are you going to start with? You have a lot." 

He smiled as he turned to her. 

"Good of you to ask. I will start with the Mithiril which will grant the gear great magical conductivity. I have crushed it down with gravity magic so it to take up less room in the forge which will make the armor heavy. 

But I am more than strong enough that it won't be a bother. After the Mithiril has melted, the Adamantium will be added to the mixture. The insane pressure of the enchantments on the forge, heat, and power in Tiamat's Karma Chaos Flame will make an alloy of Mithiril and Adamantium."

Itsuki sat down on the anvil that Hephaestus sold him with a question. 

"Why those two first?" 

He walked over and ruffled her hair. 

"Glad you ask, Ddraig. Take it from here buddy." 

[You are just too lazy to explain it. First, Adamantium is stupidly hard, one of the strongest metals around. However, it has one issue in that pure Adamantium is very magic-resistant. Making a bitch to enchant which the Dwarves can do, but they don't like to share their method. Mithiril on the other hand is tough, tougher than Magisteel, and more magically conductive.

By mixing it in this process he will effectively grant the metal the strength and resistance to external magic while allowing Romonus' to flow through it. Understood?] 

Itsuki nodded. 

"Got it." 

Romonus also had another ingredient to add. 

"I also have been refining my blood into Blood Metal. It was not easy, but I plan to add the 5 ingots I have. Once this initial mixture is ready, we will pour it out and form ingots from it. 

With Itsuki's Boost and Transfer, you will increase your energy and give it to me. From there, I will hammer them in the furnace here to remove any impurities. As I do this, Shirone will use your Senjutsu to add Ki and Nature Energy while Akeno will blast the metal with Holy Demonic Lightning.

Once the initial ingots are formed, we will melt them down again and add in the Dark Steel which shall grant it Darkness properties. This might throw off our original work so we will repeat the process of forming ingots and then refining them again." 

Itsuki asked something. 

"Can't we just add everything in at once?" 

Ddraig instantly got onto her for even asking. 

[No you dumbass, if everything was added at once nothing would mix well. He is doing this in a process that makes it so everything will fuse into a perfect alloy. The Thunderbird Claw, Minokawa Feathers, Minokawa egg shells, dragon scales, and Dragon Blood are not cheap. 

Not to mention the Orichalcum so everything needs to go well.]

She pouted as she looked at her left hand. 

"Why are you being so mean to me? I just asked an innocent question."

[So you learn.]

Romonus looked at the Spatial Ring on his left hand where he had stored many materials he was going to need. 

"Alright, let's get to work." 

Romonus walked over to the Blast Forge before he started to levitate. He much preferred to use his wings, but when indoors basic levitation was easier. Once he floated above the empty Blast Forge which could hold up to 35 tons of regular steel he looked down. 

"Akeno, fire her up." 

"On it."

She ran over to the console at the base of the forge and pushed a button activating the Chaos Karma Fire Seed. From the bottom of the forge, a massive stream of dark blue flames began to blast the forge from below. 

Romonus looked down at Akeno who gave him a thumbs up. 

"Everything is holding." 

"Good." 

As he said, from his Spatial Ring he pulled out the Mithiril he had been compressing with Gravity. He had also bought more so instead of a ton of Mithiril he had 4 tons of the stuff. After compressing it down instead of taking a massive area it was the size of a small car. 

He dropped it into the Blast Forge and watched as the forge began to heat up to insane temperatures. The last time he checked the Forge with all the enchantments and the special fire could reach up to 12,000 Degrees Fahrenheit. 

The temperature was hotter than the surface of the sun, but it was a necessity. These compressed magic metals had started to take on some crazy properties and would not melt otherwise. Thankfully all the enchantments to displace the heat were working as needed. 

Romonus though was being subjected to a big chunk of the heat as he was looking straight down into the forge. To lower his discomfort he used his Touki which kept him cool and shielded from a big portion of the heat. 

He activated his Eyes of the Soul to stare at the melting Mithiril which slowly began to turn into molten metal. Though once all the Mithiril turned liquid he dropped in a ton of Adamantium. 

When that melted down he did not instantly add the Blood Metal. He waited a few minutes until the point where the Adamantium and Mithiril fully mixed. He tossed in 5 ingots of his Blood Metal which would bind the armor to him. 

This had the effect of turning the molten metal a dark shade of blackish red. Once he had his initial alloy he floated away from the forge. 

"Akeno." 

She pulled a lever on the console which caused a shot of Fire and Wind magic to blast down into the forge. An explosion of impurities burst from the top, but the vents above the forge sucked them up and dealt with them instead of allowing the forge to fill up with poison. 

Once the Forge settled down he floated over and looked down seeing perfect bubbling molten metal. 

"Ok, pour it." 

Akeno pushed a button on her console which caused the Forge to begin to tilt over. The floor opened up to reveal several molds that would hold large sections of metal. Under the gaze of everyone, the many tons of metal poured out and began to fill the molds. 

Romonus landed on the ground and watched as the flames of Tiamat lowered in intensity as the forge emptied. Once all the metal was in its molds he sighed in relief. 

"Ok, the first step is done. Now we wait for this to solidify, refine them, and repeat the process until all the metal is in." 

Shirone sighed. 

"This will take a while."

Romonus nodded as he petted her between her cat ears making her smile. 

"Yes it will, but we will need to keep going."

She smiled up at him as he walked over to the rapidly cooling blocks of metal. In total, there were 20 with each one weighing 500 pounds. He was not sure how much was lost in the impurity removable, but it had to be a bigger chunk. While those cooled down he walked over to his Blacksmithing Forge where he was going to be crafting his gear. 

He fired up the Volcano Core and vented some of Tiamat's Fire Seed which was under the forge room. This caused the fire inside the forge to turn blue. 

'This is going to be a long drawn-out process, but it is kinda fun.'

Just as he planned once the ingots became solid he drew them out of the molds to start refining them further. He picked up the hammer that Hephestus made and blessed it with his Divine Energy. 

He had Itsuki Boost up 7 times before transferring him the power. This was Itsuki's Energy making it over 128 times her base power. He surged this energy and his Demonic Energy into the hammer as he reforged the metal. 

At the same time, Shirone and Akeno did their part of the work. Shirone using her Senjutsu added in the Ki and Nature Energy through her Aura blasts which were like fire. Akeno constantly used her Holy Demonic Lightning while Romonus forged the ingots into themselves. 

When they finished one ingot, Romonus tossed it back into the Blast Forge one by one. When all 20 were refined, they melted them down again before adding the next material, the Dark Steel. 

The Dark Steel he had was 2 tons increasing the amount of material up to 6 tons plus the net loss. As for Dark Steel, it was a metal harvested from the edge of Hades' Domain granting it dark properties. It reminded him of Stygian Iron from Percy Jackson, but that did not exist here. It was used by the Grim Reapers in their Death Scythes and talismans. 

Hades hated anyone else having it, but some of it would form on the border of his Domain and the Devil Territory. It was in very small quantities so it was not cheap. However, once the Dark Steel melted down, they repeated the process over. 

They then added the new ingots back to the Blast Forge to add the next material. Romonus thought about it carefully, but he chose to add one of the Minokawa feathers. Minokawa are dragon-like Birds as large as islands. 

They had scales and feathers as sharp as swords which became sharper and harder as the bird fed on magical metals. Though they were reported to be able to swallow the Sun and Moon, that was just a myth. Just like the sons of Ferir Skoll and Hati were supposed to do the same thing.

Regardless, the flight feathers alone were as large as his forge room so he cut it up with Blood Drinker. Since the birds were on the level of dragons the material measured up to this level. Each feather added a considerable amount of volume to the forge, but a decent chunk of impurity lowered the total during the Blast Forging and the secondary refinement. 

Already the metal was surging with conflicting energies, but the sheer amount of techniques used to bring it together brought up a sort of stability. Once the Feathers were all added, the egg shells from the same bird and the Thunderbird claw were added. 

Thunderbirds in question were giant birds as well. They inhabited North America, but they hid themselves as Thunderclouds as they flew. Rarely they would fight and their claws, and feathers would be lost. Sometimes they would even lose their lives if they chose to fight. 

This was the case with the claw as according to his Father two young male Thunderbirds had clashed over a female. The loser lost a claw in the fight and it had been collected and auctioned off through the North American Supernatural Community.

Zeoticus had jumped at the chance to buy it for over 200 million gold coins. The collector sold it to Zeoticus who gifted it to Romonus. The claw in question was massive over 8 feet(2.5 meters) and hummed with pure thunder magic. 

This instantly reacted with Akeno's Holy Demonic Lightning which fully fused this into the metal. After another set of refining and forging, they added the second to last material, the Steel Dragon Scales. The very last thing was the single ingot of Orichalcum which instantly forced every material to synchronize and all the energies in the molten metal to just work together in a Chaotic Mix.

The Dragon Heart, Blood, and other materials like the Soul Stones were going to be added with magic after the gear was forged. Once the ingot brought stability they poured out the metal again and after a final refinement, they set it aside quite tired. 

Romonus sighed as he looked at the time this whole thing had taken almost 10 hours of nonstop work. The forge room even with all the enchantments was starting to get beyond hot. Luckily they could turn off the forge for now. 

Akeno, Shirone, and Itsuki were all drained as this was just the initial forging. He was lucky to have his Regeneration from his Sparda bloodline. However, when the ingots of metal cooled down they surged with a Chaotic Aura. It seemed that buying the Fire seed from Tiamat was the right choice. 

He grinned as he looked at the power venting from the dark metal. It was calling to him to forge it because of all the energies at work. This Gear, his Profane Gear would be his armor and equipment until the day he died or the day the infinite Multiverse ceased to be. 

A set of equipment that defined him was within reach and he could not wait to use it in his conquests. Especially when he moved to the Evie Atolde planet. He wanted to give the technology of Evie to Latia as she was the one who was the machine genius. 

He was better at cold forging then something like machines which was why she was coming along. Now he just had to wait until everyone else arrived to complete the entire forging. 

Once he recovered, he would be able to undergo the Baptism which should in theory make his Demonic Energy mix with true Mana. What the result would be he was not sure.
