Chapter 1: Meeting The Lone Warrior

It's a peaceful time in the day. The majestic sun beams down it's heavenly light onto everything it touched. The many towns people have made, all in the name of peace and prosperity. Over in the vast forest a fight is going on.

A woman in armor is knocked to the ground as she spits out the blood in her mouth. Her eyes glance at the figures in front as she mocked them, "Is that all you got?" before charging at them with her longsword. The people she is referring to are men and women in ragged clothes with weapons and masks. They have high quality weapons that even they couldn't afford. They are bandits.

The woman in question, stabs one of the bandits, before removing her sword to strike another's head with the pommel. Another one swung down his war hammer at the Woman, however, she block it with her blade the strike the man with her cross-guard with such force, it pierces the eye. The woman continued to assault the bandits with her blade as she cleaves through them with ease. However, she isn't alone on this quest.

"Seinaru yumiya, hyaku-pon no ya"

She heard a voice of a man as she saw a faint blue glow, which then turn into a hundred glowing-arrows striking at the poorly armored bandits. After the glowing arrows disappear, it became more apparent that whoever shot that bow, is using some sort of magic. Regardless, she continued her pursuit of the bandits till there was only a handful left. The Woman looked down as she saw a man slaying the rest of the bandits in strange armor. Regardless, she jumped down to finish the fight with the man with both executing each of the bandits with her's chopping their heads, while the man cuts their bodies and throats.

In the aftermath of the fight, only two remain. The woman in shining, metal armor that not only fitted her, but encompasses her body with plate and mail as well as having a red color scheme that contrasted her blue angelic eyes. In contrast to this, the man wore dark blue armor, different from the woman's, with some yellow and gold colors around the body that contrasted his red eyes. The Woman looked at the man and thanked him for helping her. The man did the same, nodding in respect before walking away. However, the Woman stopped him and ask him, "Who are you?" The man in armor stopped dead in his tracks. He turned his head around just enough of his red eyes to meet up the Woman's blue and because of his odd helmet - at least to the woman.

"My apologies," the man apologized before introducing himself properly, "My name is Tsuki no Kaze." He then ask the Woman, "What is your name?" The Woman answered, "My name Sole Corvo Everfall," she the ask him another question, "What are you doing here around the area?" The man could only look down on his blade as he caresses his handle. The Woman took note of this, until the man snapped her attention back to his eyes and said, "A Purpose."

Sole: "A purpose? What purpose?"

Kaze: "I don't speak much of your language, Sole-san"

Sole:" Oh."

Sole thinks for a moment for the stranger to become a new found member. After all, the guild she worked wanted many people from different regions and so far, there were only a few that have been from the east regions. However, this man seems to have known many things and so Sole ask him, "Would you like to come back with me to my town?" she the continued, "I think I may know a person who speaks both of our languages."

The man stood there for a moment, realizing the opportunity and seizing it before it slips away from his grasp. He bend his body and thanked Sole for her kindness, before bending back up. The woman in armor simply chuckled from the bow and told him to follow her back to her town.

Upon arriving to the town, via their horses, the townspeople were overjoyed by the arrival of Sole and her companion. If this wasn't more apparent enough, it seems as though even some of the locals of the east knew of her companion as well. All the words she could her was her entitlement as a Knight and her companion's own title of "Samurai." Hmm, perhaps her companion is going to be a lot more interesting than first thought.

Upon arriving to the guild house, Sole open the door to allow both herself and her companion to enter the building. There was a lot of people from all over the place, it fascinated both Sole and Kaze. It is then they were called by a small boy with a pair of cat-like ears sticking out from his head. "Hi," the boy greeted as he waved his small hands at the two. Sole simply smiled and walked up to the little cat-boy then took a knee so she can be on his height. She greet the boy back, "Hello there, Yin."

"Uhm... have you seen your sister?" Sole ask the cat-boy, which Yin nods his head and goes to the counter to reach a wooden door then knock on the door. The door swings open to reveal a woman about her 20s taking hold of the boy and greets Sole and her companion. "Hello there, Sole. I see you brought company."

Sole: Yes, madam Amore.

Amore: And my oh my, who would you be?

The man bowed a bit before introducing himself towards the Guild's caretaker, "My name is Tsuki no Kaze." Amore nodded back, before setting Yin down for him to run around for a bit. Amore take her time examining the man with his armor, his weapons and equipment, he is definitely one of the few legendary warriors, known only as Samurai. To earn such a title is something only the very best could achieve - like a Knight, though Samurais do more than just waiting for their orders, guarding the town, or even patrols.

Amore is more shocked to say the least. She had never been this close, nor have ever met, a Samurai before. But he's here now, so technically he's a ronin? Whatever the case may be, she is somehow trapped in a sort of trance. "Hello, Earth to Amore, is anyone still there?" Sole waved her hand in front of Amore's face, before snapping her fingers to get the girl out of whatever trance she is stuck in. Amore snaps back into reality for then being asked by Sole, "Amore, are you alright?" Amore replied with a hint of embarrassment, "Y-Yes, Sole. I'm fine."

Sole simply chuckle and shake her head to the dismay of her friend. It is now that she ask her, "Amore, would you please help me whatever Kaze is speaking?" Amore looked at her friend once more, nodding before saying, "Okay, and hey, maybe he could learn how to speak our language as well..." she turned her head around to stare at the guild as it is today, "After all, someone has to take care of this place and the people."

Just after this conversation is finished, the door swings open with a large bang at the end. Apparently, someone had a hard time of knocking before entering and they seem to hate doors a lot.

"Knight Everfall!" a man called Sole out in such a loud and booming voice, "The King and Queen would like to have a word with you." He does like to have his presence known, evident by the many people in the guild staring and glaring at the man. Sole silently groaned under her breath to then turn to say to the man, "I'll be there, Messenger Corbin..."

"And do please tell the King and Queen I'll be bringing in two of my companions." Sole finishes her sentence and the messenger bowed in respect. After that he said to the people in the guild, "Good day to you all!", then exited the building.

Kaze: Your messenger this loud?

Sole: Not all of them. Mostly just Corbin.

Kaze: Souka.

Sole looked at her companion in confusion before Amore translated the word, "He means, 'I see.' It's a casual and informal way to say it." Nodding back, Sole told both Kaze and Amore to follow her to the castle and they both agreed.
