3 Life with the Callahans (3)

"Did you run all the way here?" Annalise questioned, worried about Giselle's breathing.

"No. We walked quickly so we would not be late. Thankfully there are two seats saved for us. You need a bigger table now Annalise," Giselle said, continuing to hold Thomas's hand as she walked to their seats.

After over a year of trying to get Thomas to return her feelings, Giselle gave up only for Thomas to miss having her by his side and do the courting. Now married, she resided here in town helping Thomas with his business.

"I spent the day helping Thomas with his creations," Giselle declared, proud of her handy work.

Thomas remained silent, not exposing that what she did was write notes until she became bored and left him alone.

Annalise was momentarily distracted by Rafael lifting Bea from her chair and seating her on his lap. He would always fall victim to her whines and let her sit on him.
